AVCHD clip's always needs to get rendered when inserting. Media info about .mts file attached

I have previously discussed this problem in another thread. I have .mts files that I insert in a project (project preset set to PAL-AVCHD Full-HD)....when inserting i always need to render the clips and as many peole have mentioned, this should not be needed, instead PrEl should take care of this by itself..and it really sunds weird if it doesnt...
So, why is this happen...i get so frustrated when I have to re-render the clips all the time, since also - it takes a looong time for jsut tiny tiny clips ? I posted the hardware specs I have two days ago in this same forum, and it looks from the answers I got that this hardware should be enough for not having to wait several minutes to jsut add a 6 second AVCHD clip ?
Please look at below image that is a screenshot from MediaInfo about the details for my .mts file I'm trying to add - resulting in new rendering needed, plus the fact that it takes about 5 minutes to render it ??
Please, suggestion or solutions ? I'm lost...I got feedback yesterday that this is a known problem with both PrEl 8 and PrEl 9 ..that AVCHD clips needs to get rendered manually when they are added....i.e a known bug in these versions ?? Any experience ? How can I move forward, I have problems to understand that such bug should exist without anysolution and/or workaround since I see this as a feature that MUST work for people not getting crazy :-)

Are you opening a project created in PRE8 with PRE9? If yes, that is the most likely cause of the problem. Create a new PRE9 project and see if the same problems after you import the clip and save the project. No, I'm only working in Pr 8.0 - I have this problem as soon as I add a clip..not that into the different formats, just know that the best possible output from my camera (Canon HF10) should be AVCHD..thats why I added teh detailed info from "MediaInfo". can you tell from that info I'm correct, i.e that the .mts file is really AVCHD as expected ? Just to help me confirm that. So, I havent been using PrEl 9.0...another person two days ago told me that PrEl 9 also got similar problems as I reported for my PrEl 8.0 ?
When you first added the clip to your project did you receive any messages that the file was not suitable for the format? If so did you accept the offered preset? If you didn't start a new PRE9 project and this time accept the offer. No, I did not get any messages as all about the format. Occasionally I get something like "Do you want to fix the quality in the clip" ..cant recall exactelly what the message is, but its for sure nothing about the format
When you put it into the project, did you have a red line running the length of the timeline? If you do then your preset is not correct (this is purely PRE9. PRE8 always required rendering AVCHD footage).Yes, always when I add a clip I get this red line. If I understand everything correctly this means I have to hit ENTER key to create a preview file....thats my second problem - as soon as I do that, it renders the clip very very slowly although I should have prety good hardware (According to spec posted two days ago).
So, as a summary. Do you think that buying Premiere Elements 9.0 should get rid of this problem when adding AVCHD ? If that is the case, I feel I just want to be sure about this and that I will not experience the problem again. Can it not just be some setting that is, by default, not correct in Premiere El 8.0 that is causing this or is this really a known bug without fixes available from Adobe?

Numbers 3.0.1 lives in your Applications folder. Numbers '09 lives in a folder called iWork '09 within your Applications folder. You can drag each icon to your Dock. They will become Aliases. Right click (or control click) on each Alias in turn and Options > Keep in Dock. Then you can choose which one to launch.
Numbers '09 (Numbers 2.3) is on the left, three column chart. Numbers '13 (Numbers 3.0.1) is on the right, four column chart.
Both versions will run side-by-side. Just be sure which version has your document open before you save.
In Numbers 3.0.1 you can convert "backwards" to Numbers 2 with File> Export > Numbers '09...

How to set up so that 1920 x 1080 h.264 files don't need to be rendered when importing onto timeline
Is there a way to set up final cut express to default to the proper settings so that 1920 x 1080 h.246 mov files don't have to be rendered when dropped onto the timeline? It is really not efficient to work on something when it takes hours to render. Thanks

I've searched the FCE discussion forum and not found an answer verified by more than one user to this question: What is an efficient way to get FCE4 (via the Log and Transfer window) to see .mts files from an AVCHD camera stored on a drive (NOT via the camera -- directly from the drive)?
I am trying to plan the most space-efficient system possible for storing un-transcoded .mts files from a Panasonic AG-HMC151 on a harddrive so that I can easily ingest them into FCE4. I am shooting a long project and I want to be able to look at .mts files so that I can decide which ones to transcode to AIC for the edit.
Since FCE4 cannot see .mts files unless they have their metadata wrapper the question is really 'how do I most efficiently transfer .mts files from the camera to a storage harddrive with their metadata wrappers so that FCE4 can see them via the log and transfer window?'

gives 2 options: Use the Disk Utility to make a disk image of the whole SD card, or copy the whole contents of the card to a folder. He says he prefers the first option because it makes sure everything on the card is copied.

Any/all help would be most gratefully received!I have saved the complete file structure on DVD as a backup, but have not needed to open them yet. But I will add this. As I understand the options with Toast you are infact converting the video to AIC or something like it. I haven't looked into it myself, but I can't imagine the extra files are that large, but maybe there are significant, I don't know. The transcoded files are huge in comparison to the AVCHD file.
A new player on the scene for AVCHD is Clipwrap 2.0. As I understand this product. It rewraps the AVCHD into a wrapper the Quicktime can open and play. This is with the MTS files only, the rest of the file structure is not needed. The rewrap is much faster that the transcode to AIC. So you have the added benefit of being able to play the files as well as not storing the extra files. The 2.0 version (which is for AVCHD) was just recently released. I haven't tried it and don't personally know of anyone who has. You might want to try this, there is a trial version as I recall. -
ITunes needs to be able to find media info.
Like Windows Media Player iTunes should be able to find media info, update track info (id tags) and auto download album art.
What sort of Media Info do you mean? As far as I'm aware iTunes has always found tracknames, composers, year of release etc. for me when I rip CDs to put on my iPod through using Gracenote CDDB that is built in. If this doesn't happen, when you insert a CD just go Advanced>Get CD Track Names.
The only thing that it doesn't do is find the album art but you can just import it yourself. If you don't have the time to then there's a number of 3rd party apps that will do this for you - just look on google. -

I get an Error 0xBFF69011 - "Unable to get attribute" when attempting to save current camera setting to file with MAX. I was not able to save a single time, hence the settings the camera came with out of the box are still active.

FerencYes, the 1.0 Basler firmware released after IMAQdx 4.2 exposed this specific problem. This has been addressed in Vision Acquisition September 2013 (13.1) which includes IMAQdx 4.3. There should have been a public KB created for this issue but I do not see it yet...

When I have an m4v file of course I cant edit it in FCP so I convert it in mpeg stream and/or compressor but no matter what mov format I convert it to, it always has to render in FCP7. The render files are also HUGE, upwards of 50 gigs. The m4v file is about 9 gigs. I know theres a setting that will allow me to convert it to an MOVformat in compressor that wont need to be rendred in fcp, but I dont know what it is. HELP PLEASE!!! Lexi
You need to convert so the resulting file will match your FCP Sequence specs. That include codec, frame rate, pixel resolution, audio sampling rate, etc, etc.
The reason that the .m4v version is so small is that is was heavily compressed for internet viewing/delivery and not a good source if you plan to edit.

I am not able to solve the problem because I can't find an I/O vi that writes on file time stamp data. An error occurs, because of connecting different data types. How can I convert time stamp data so that I can use it as input in a write on file vi? Please, help me!
The problem with the selection seems to be that you are using two different indexing tunnels on the for loop. One of them loops over every value of the first incoming waveform, the other one over all waveforms in the incoming array. The value you wire to the N terminal will be ignored, the number of loop executions will be the minimum of your indexes. Anyway, the loop doesn't seem to do what you wanted:
- If you want to store the complete waveform: loop over all waveforms, check for the maximum of each of them and write it just like you do now.
- If you want to store only the values of each waveform that actually exceeded the threshold: You can either use 2 nested for loops to iterate over each value of each waveform. Use shift registers t
o create new arrays of timestamps / values for the values you want to store. You need to either convert the waveform to x-y-pairs (VI on analog waveform palette) or calculate your own timestamps. You might as well want to check out the "Search waveform" VI. Configure it so that value+-tolerance covers the band between your expected minimum value and your threshold value. The VI will give you the indices and timestamps of all fits. -
I need help getting iTunes to recognize all of my mp3 files.
I have a collection of music that was on my pc before I installed iTunes. When I try to add some of the folders to the library, iTunes doesn't list all of the songs. Some of the folders have sub-folders (album collections containing multiple cds) that are not listed in iTunes once added. Then when I try to sync with my iPhone 4s it complains about some of the files not being found. Now ALL of these files are recognized/listed and playable in Media Player. Why isn't iTunes as smart as Media Player?

Check to make sure that you are up to date on your computer. Another recommendation would be to try a different cable and also reset the NVRAM on your computer.

To prevent SPAM I've used a trick where there's a hidden URL field which must be left blank for the form to submit which you can see in the PHP.

I would like to make pretty much all the field compulsory so if a field is left empty (other than the hidden URL field), a warning message is displayed next to that field.
Also I would like the file upload field to attach to the email that is sent to me and have the results come through to me in a table format.

I've managed to get the Formm@iler working and running as I need it to.
The only thing I'm struggling with is when the user clicks submit, they are taken to a page of whatever results the form returned but it is just a white background with Times New Roman text.
How can I have it so the user is taken to the form results in the websites' page layout?
I tried sending them to a generic 'thank you' page by adding the following code but it just took them there whatever the results of the form so that's no good...! I have a feeling it's a bit more complicated than that...

After updating Firefox I start getting calls from 253-802-0308 (International Telcom in Auburn Washington, found using 411.com). The report that they are getting messages that my Windows PC is reporting the downloading of malicious files. I don't think that there is a connection with Mozilla but it only started after I ran the last 2 or 3 updates to Firefox. Searches on Google and other search engines don't show logical connections to the phone calls and the problem being reported to me. None of my anti-virus programs, Ccleaner, DEFENDER & AVG pickup and malicious files. I'm curious about who they may be because when I question them during the calls they end up hanging up on me. Just wondering if similar problems are being reported.
That is a reported scammer set-up. Read some of the following from actual phone customers. It is not related to your Firefox updates. I have gotten a few of these types of calls on my '''''unlisted '''''home phone number over the past several years. They use a dialer, usually automatic and sequential number dialing. Get a loud whistle to blow into the phone mouth piece or one of those loud air horns from the hardware/sporting good store; this kind of trash deserves broken ear drums.

Hi, i am currently working on a project in NSTC format but seem to have a technical problem. I have exported it (in wmv.) but i want to convert it to MP4 (iPod) and DVD format. Now, I have tried to convert the video with many pieces of software and they all seem to change my timings (e.g a title is shown before it should). This doesnt happen in the .wmv file but it seems to happen on both DVD and NSTC. Am I doing something wrong in premiere or is it another problem?
Thanks in advanceI am not sure that I am following. You have a Sequence in PrP, and have your Titles positioned and their Duration set, as you need. (I'm assuming Lower Thirds, or similar). Your preview verifies that everything is proper and satisfactory. Then, when you Export to certain formats, the Titles have "moved," so that they no longer accompany the proper visual from, say Video Track 1. Is that correct? If so, I am sorry to say that I have no idea how that could happen. I just want to get clarification on the exact problem, and will consider what could be afoot. Also, others will likely benefit from a bit more info.

I am getting error -- Invalid Renderer class: '&1' ZTEST_BWREPORT_ADI
while inserting the <param name="ITEM_CLASS" value="ZTEST_BWREPORT_ADI"/> in HTML code of the template, having one table web item, before <param name="ITEM_CLASS" value="CL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_GRID"/> statement to get the customization I have done in ZTEST_BWREPORT_ADI as per table interface.
Please look into the issue and try to suggest the possible solutions as soon as possible.

The got the solution which is nothing tricky. I have to just insert <param name = "MODIFY_CLASS" value = "ZTEST_BWREPORTS_ADI"/> after <param name = "ITEM_CLASS" value = "CL_RSR_WWW_ITEM_GRID"> to get the desired result. Though I don't know what might be the reason (since I am very new to BW) but atleast the thing is working.

Photo from iPhoto gets cropped when inserted into iMovie
My old video (miniDV camcorder, DV) is 4:3 and lower resolution than my photos (16:9, good digicam). I inserted a vertical photo into a video project, and the photo gets truncated on playback.
I expected it to be scaled to fit when shown on the screen, like iPhoto does.
Am I doing something wrong? Please tell me iMovie handles inserted photos sensibly.WHat version of iMovie, and iPhoto?
