AVCHD Not linking after updating

Question

Hi All,
Using Premiere Pro CS4 on an iMac 2.8Ghz i5 w/ 8GB ram. The footage files i'm using are AVCHD files with a .MTS extension.
My recent problem this morning after recently installing CS4 on this new machine is that after doing all the current Adobe updates my footage keeps coming up as offline where before the updates the footage was fine. Anyone have a reason or fix to this problem?

Welcome to the forum.
When you first opened the Project, did you get the "Where is file ______.mts?" dialog screen, with the Finder to locate the file?
PrPro links to all Assets in the Project, and if they have been Moved, Deleted or Renamed (any part of the Path changed, from drive letter, to file names), PrPro will not be able to locate the file, without a bit of help.
It seems that something has changed, post-update. Are the files still on the system? Has anything changed about the location, like a drive letter?
The ideal is to use the Finder, from that above mentioned dialog screen, to just locate the first "missing" file in the folder, and PrPro will then find all others in that folder. If the Assets are in several folders, you will need to repeat for each folder.
Now, if you chose to Ignore, or Offline the files, when it asked for their location, and then did a Save of the Project, overwriting the PRPROJ file, one must then manually re-link the Assets from the Project Panel, or go to an AutoSave, and use that dialog box to Find the files.
Good luck, and check where the files are located vs where they were located, before the update.
