Avelsieve invalid backend

Greetings
I have been using avelsieve successfully for message filtering & forwarding, accessing GUI via squirrelmail on my OS X Server (10.4.8)
But when I tried to log in to alter a filter today, I was unable to get to the message filters screen (can't remember exact error message).
So I tried updating Avelsieve to latest version. Now I get the following message when clicking on 'Message filters' :
"You have specified an invalid backend in config/config.php. Please use a supported value for $avelsieve_backend."
No idea what this means. Please can anyone help?
TIA
James

fixed the invalid backend error - caused by not copying the sample config file across. doh. however now I am back to my original error which is:
Could not log on to timsieved daemon on your IMAP server localhost
Doing a separate post about this

  • Calendar Server Invalid Backend ID Error

    Hi,
We have a newly installed calendar server following the 'single host' installation instructions published at the Communications Suite 7 wiki site. Since last week, we have not been able to resolve an exception we are experiencing when trying to test the installation using the Dav Content Browser. The Dav Content Browser does connect and we can see the login/password authentication in the commands.0 logfile. Regardless of what user we specify, we always get back a '404' result and message indicating 'invalid backend id'. We have verified availability of the MySQL database and login/password settings. Below is a summary of the details we see:
    Request URI: /davserver/browse/home/mmc001/calendar
    Exception Type: com.sun.comms.davserver.services.DavException
    HTTP Status: 404
    Messages: invalid backend id for:/home/[email protected]/: mmc001
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Hi Shane,
Thanks for getting back to me. To answer your questions, yes I am now able to use the dav browser using URL http://<FULLY QUALIFIED HOSTNAME>/davserver/browse/home/[email protected]/calendar/ . MMC001 was a temporary ID previously used for calendar testing. Although the above URL works for dav browsing, I have not been able to get Lightning or Evolution working.
When I try to access http://<fully qualified hostname>/davserver/browse/home/h/mobilemailcentral.com/stuart/calendar/ I get prompted for the login/password and see the following in commands.0:

Lightning won't connect correctly. I have tried using both 'caldav' and 'ics' settings when creating a remote calendar. Using 'caldav', Lighning's error log returns a DAV_NOT_DAV error and using 'ics' returns:

I suspect there is something wrong about the URL I am using, not really sure about this. Any ideas?

    PK,
One issue that we ran into and saw similar error messages was when a whole unpartitioned device was presented to CRS to be used as the OCR and the
    Voting Disk ( i.e., /dev/sdb , /dev/sdc instead of a partition like /dev/sdb1 , /dev/sdc1 } .
It appears that CRS calls a utility to format the disks which does not like the whole unpartitioned devices . Guess this is fixed in the 11g release.
We ran into this issue when running root.sh , so I am not exactly sure the circumstances under which you are facing these errors. If this is a fresh install and the devices have not been partitioned , then it might be worth trying to partition them and presenting them to CRS.
You might have to cleanup the existing install if you decide to pursue the above option . Note:239998.1 on Metalink might help you with the cleanup steps.

  • Proxy Error while consuming backend web service

    Hello,
I try to consume erp backend web services (generated on existing rfcs) with a web dynpro (java) application and get the following error:
Service call exception; nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (502) Proxy Error ( The ISA Server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL).  ). The requested URL was:"http://anyExampleUrl"
The called backend service and the portal server reside in the network so no access through the ISA server is required. Consuming the same services by .NET applications works fine.
    Do you have any hints?
    Cheers, Dennis

    Hello there,
Check the same webservice is working fine with a SOAP UI, especially the request and response are fine. Then try with the application.

The latest SAPGUI can be downloaded from https://websmp204.sap-ag.de/support, go to Downloads, then "Browse the Navigation Area", on the left click "A-Z Index", then click on "G" and you'll see the "SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS" option, click on it...
You can download it from here... Please notice your OSS user needs authorization to do so... Probably need to check with your Basis guys for this...
    Hope this helps.
    Luis

  • Cannot install kile due to invalid signatures?

I'm used to ubuntu and Ubuntu Server, but Arch is new to me. I've installed Arch Linux last week, so far I like it a lot. However, pacman seems unable to install kile (the latex-editor from KDE) for some reason...
    [whizz@Arch etc]$ sudo pacman -S kile

    After searching around a bit, I found http://www.archlinux.org/news/having-pa … -packages/
I tried that, but I think it doesn't apply to me, as I've installed Arch just last week. Running
    pacman-key --init
    pacman-key --populate archlinux
does not give me pacman.conf.pacnew, as I think is to be expected as I already started with an up to date pacman, right?
The contents of my pacman.conf are here: http://pastie.org/private/w5iwbcwknmaiffhxchzekq
I tried throwing away the packages with "pacman -Sc kile" and reinstalling with "pacman -S kile", same result.
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
(Probably unrelated, but I'm running Arch in a VirtualBox, with xfce, Linux version 3.5.4-1-ARCH)

karol wrote:1. You should run 'pacman -Sc' not 'pacman -Sc foo'. 'foo' doesn't do anything here (no harm either) as 'pacman -Sc' doesn't take arguments.
    2. The issue you faced has been covered in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pa … 9.22_error (next to last question) yet people keep banging their heads against it. Have you read the 'Troubleshooting' part of Arch wiki article on pacman? Was there anything unclear? Maybe we can phrase it better?
I did not have *.part files, only 0-byte-files with the correct name, so that solution does not apply to my problem. Besides, the problem I had was that pacman said "Signature from "User <[email protected]>" is unknown trust, installation failed", so I tried the solution above the one you mentioned, which failed. As soon as I understood something was wrong with my cached files, it was solved quite easily.

  • Printer Paused - "/usr/lib/cups/backend/hp failed" [SOLVED]

Nothing that I try to print with CUPS goes to the printer, it just sits in the job list saying "Pending".
CUPS says the status of my printer is:
    Paused - "/usr/lib/cups/backend/hp failed"
Restarting CUPS or DBus does nothing.
I didn't notice any updates relating to CUPS so am not sure what exactly happened. I sync and update many times a day, so at least I know a timeframe. The last time I printed something was at:
    Sat 21 Nov 2009 03:05:18 PM PST
Now nothing works. I really need to get this working, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
    EDIT2:
Near as I can tell it is not indeed a package update problem, sorry. I suppose this is in the wrong forum now.

Anyone else who gets this problem and freaks out: All you have to do is go to the CUPS printer administration page and click "Resume Printer".

I am having this same issue but simply resuming the printer won't change anything....
I always see this message when I try printing ....
    "/usr/lib/cups/backend/hp failed"
but if I just call it from the command line, it shows me my printer info...
    [somekool@rockinTV test]$ /usr/lib/cups/backend/hp
    direct hp:/usb/deskjet_5550?serial=MY27G1J3CK2L "HP deskjet 5550" "HP deskjet 5550 USB MY27G1J3CK2L HPLIP" "MFG:hp;MDL:deskjet 5550;CLS:PRINTER;DES:deskjet 5550;SN:MY27G1J3CK2L;"
    [somekool@rockinTV test]$
by looking further... I found two more error message...
    "io/hpmud/musb.c 136: unable get_string_descriptor -1: Operation not permitted"
    and
    prnt/backend/hp.c 745: ERROR: open device failed stat=12: hp:/usb/deskjet_5550?serial=MY27G1J3CK2L

  • Issue in invalidating the model output node

    Hi All,
I have a problem in invalidating the model output node. Below is the description of my approach and problem statement.
REQUIREMENT: We have had the requirement to develop a custom WD java application in MSS which will fetch the appraisal data for each employee selection.
APPROACH: To acheive the same, I have developed the custom WD java application and have associated it with the Standard Employee Search application. I have established the eventing between both the applications, such that on each employee selection in Employee Search, I get the PERNR for the selected employee.
I have mapped a local valude node to the UI elements of my custom application. I am having TWO RFCs; one to Read data based on PERNR and the other to Update/Save to R/3.
I read the RFC based on PERNR and save it to local value node which is binded to the UI elements. If the end user is editing the read data, I am passing the entire local value node to the Save RFC import parameter on click of Save button in my application.
Every thing is working as expected. I am able to Read and Save the data and its also updating the backend. But, in the same session, if I go back to the previously selected employee for whom the updation has happened, i am not able to see the new data.
Only when I refresh the session, I see the new data on employee selection. When I try to invalidate the Read Output Model node, on Save button, I do not see anything happening. The Read Output Model node always holds the old value.
I have currently binded the Read model output node to a table in the view to see what it holds in runtime. And what I see is , its always having the old record for the same employee, in the same session even after invalidating the same on Save button.
I request you all to pleae try to understand the issue and let me know as how to get the new values in the same session.
    Regards
    DK

    Hi,
When you are executing the read rfc ?? At the time of executing the read rfc try to bind the new object every time you execute and see what happens.
    Like..
    wdContext.node<READ_RFC_NODE>().bind(OBJECT of READ RFC);
    then execute it.
Is there some kind of table which shows the employees and on selection you are showing the data? Can you give some more input on how you are reading the data?
    Best Wishes

  • Invalid char in XML from inbound IDoc

I am trying to send a CREMDM IDoc from a 4.6C R/3 system to an XI SP09 system. The IDoc gets sent from the backend system, shows up fine in WE05, but after it gets passed to XI, I encounter a fatal error (in SXMB_MONI) that reads:
    com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: Fatal Error: com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: Invalid char #0x15(:main:, row:1, col:986) at com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf3.Transformer.checkParserException(Transformer.java:41) at com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf3.Transformer.start(Transformer.java:66) ....
Upon checking the payload, I discover an "#" character in one of the fields (at position 986) has mysteriously been transformed to a " " character. XI does not recognize this character and the parser fails.
As I understand, the R/3 system is non-unicode, and XI being unicode could be causing the problem. However, I have no clue how to solve this issue. Deeply appreciate it if any ALE/XI experts can share any insights.
    Regards,
    Danny

Thanks for all the response. It looks like the "#" character is in fact a control character from the R/3 system, which is a "negative acknowledge" (#0x15) character. This character is not valid for XML and hence it even fails the test tool in Integration Repository. I figured this out from your responses as well as checking the XML payload in XMLSPY (gave me a illegal char code 21 as well, which corresponds to the above hex code for the negative acknowledgement char).
It looks like we have to tackle the problem on the outbound IDoc side, which I am in the midst of figuring out how....

  • Sane-epjitsu backend stopped working with linux 3.6.2

I have been using a fujitsu scan snap 300m with arch linux for over three years. It has always worked fine.
With the upgrade to linux 3.6.2, scanimage can no longer find the scanner. When calling scanimage, I get the following error:
    [20:14]% scanimage --device epjitsu > out.pnm
scanimage: open of device epjitsu failed: Invalid argument
Was there a regression with the new kernel and usb peripherals or udev permissions?
    Here are the details:
All other usb devices (including usb stick automounting) are working correctly.
    The scanner is attached:

    I have the firmware installed:
    [20:13]% ls /usr/share/sane/epjitsu
    300M_0B00.nal
    /etc/sane.d/epjitsu.conf is correct:

    firmware /usr/share/sane/epjitsu/300M_0B00.nal

    Permissions are correct in //lib/udev/rules.d/53-sane.rules
    # Fujitsu ScanSnap S300M
    ATTRS{idVendor}=="04c5", ATTRS{idProduct}=="117f", MODE="0664", GROUP="scanner", ENV{libsane_matched}="yes"
    Sane-find-scanner sees the scanner:

    # Your USB scanner was (probably) detected. It may or may not be supported by
    # SANE. Try scanimage -L and read the backend's manpage.
I am a member of the group scanner:
    [20:15]% groups
lp wheel network video audio storage scanner power users matt abs sbox
And here is what scanimage -L prints out:
    [20:25]% scanimage -L
device `v4l:/dev/video0' is a Noname CNF7129 virtual device
Note running scanimage as root has the same result, so this does not seem to be a permissions issue.
    What else am I missing?

  • Invalid Signature Exception in Swift Receiver Channel

    Hi,
We are using sap swift package for PI.We have BCM signing the file in ECC and PI validating the signature before sending the file out to the bank via the swift broker.
We have configured as per these notes
Note 1144603 - BCM: Back-end signature for data medium
Note 1153053 - BCM: Backend signature for data medium
Created the FINBRM certificate in STRUST in ECC.
    Deployed this certificate in PI.
However we still get nvalidSignatureException when we run the interface on the receiver channel.
    com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.xi.swift.ParserException: com.sap.xi.swift.InvalidSignatureException.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Ray

It might be due to certificate not installed properly or invalid or expired certificate. Talk to Basis and verify in keystore that you have the valid certs stored.

  • Create PR Invalid System Attribute Runtime Exception

    Dear All,
We have problem with our SRM System.
It is connected to an ECC Backend, and we have successfully replicate material & vendor data.
We also have successfully create shopping carts.
Our problem is when ANY USER create Purchase Requisition through the following menu:
    - Purchasing
    -- Purchasing Document
--- Create Documents : Purchase Requsitions
A windows with our correct backend system appear.
But, after we press continue, runtime error.
    The default-trace is below.
We have checked the erronous object, which is:
    com.sap.pct.erp.buyer.13.change_pr_lean_new
and it is already have SAP_ECC_Procurement as it's system properties.
We currently assume that a processor object mis-reference to SAP_LocalSystem, but finding the object using Multiple propery changer with SAP_LocalSystem as property doesn't work.
    It's strange.
    Please help.

  • Microsoft Access shows "ORA-01722: Invalid number"

    Hi,
I have seen a previous post on this problem, but none of the tips applied to my situation, so I'm asking again.
I'm accesing Oracle 8i Personal (German Version) with Access 2002 (latest SP, on a computer with Windows 2000). Please note that I installed the latest ODBC driver from Oracle (8.1.7.6.0). When I create a table which has, say, a NUMBER(10,3) field in it, and I link it into Access using the ODBC driver, I cannot enter numbers like "1,23" into the table. The error "ORA-01722: Invalid number" is shown and the INSERT fails. If I enter the numbers like "1.23", the resulting field value is "123". The
problem occurs, whether I use the table view, a form or VBA via ADO. Pass-Through queries (over ADO's QueryDef facility) work, however. The decimal separator is "," in both Windows and Oracle. With normal NUMBER fields everything works fine.
When looking at the SQL log it turns out, that Access hands out a string to the ODBC driver and relies on the driver to convert it to a number. Regardless of the locale set in Windows, Access uses the dot ('1.23') as decimal separator for this string. The German version of oracle wants a comma as decimal separator as in "INSERT INTO TEST VALUES ('1,23')". From a previous post I know that ODBC specifies that all numbers must use the dot, regardless of the locale setting. So it turns out, the Oracle ODBC driver is causing the problem, not Access. But, anyway, this problem could easily be fixed by adding a "Workaround option" to the ODBC driver, that always converts dots in numbers to commas before handing it out to the backend. Another option would be, that the ODBC driver does this decision automatically by asking the backend, which separator it wants.
    Any comments greatly appreciated.
    Best regards
    Markus

This is actually a duplicate of bug# 1938991 which says:
"A 'Numeric settings' option has been added to the Application Options page of the ODBC Configuration screen so that the user can choose what numeric settings will be used in receiving and returning numeric data that is bound as strings. This option allows the user to choose Oracle NLS settings (the default setting and the behavior in former releases), Microsoft default regional settings (to provide a way to mirror the Oracle OLE DB driver's behavior for greater interoperability) and US numeric settings, which are necessary when using MS Access or DAO in non-US environments. In this case, setting the Numeric settings to US settings should resolve the issue, since DAO is expecting the data in US format."
Apparently the fixed release is 9.2.0.2, 9.0.1.4 or 8.1.7.7 depending on your client version.
