Exactly what version of Lightroom are you talking about ... what version number?
What is your operating system?
When you say "crashes", does this mean the entire computer crashes and must be re-started, or just Lightroom crashes?
Are there specific actions in Lightroom that seem to cause this crash?
Please give us a lot more details about what is happening.

First thing to try is the latest version of Lightroom (currently 5.6). If it don't crash, then problem solved - upgrade.
If Lr5 won't run on your machine, then Lr4 instead.
If both Lr5 and Lr4 crash on your machine, then at least you know it's a not a Lightroom version problem but something wonked in your system.
If you can't figure out how to resolve the crash on the system you have, then it's time for a new system (or try another converter/editor app).
PS - A few things to try:
* After re-installing new version, if that doesn't fix it, then get rid of all Lightroom-related data files (rename them so they can be restored), in case problem is in Lr data file.
* Remove all non-essential hardware in case problem is hardware/driver.
* Startup up machine with minimal software services.
* If still no go, consider updating driver software, including mainboard drivers and/or bios firmware if need be.
* Of course run all the system hardware and software diagnostics you can - problem could be failing disk or ram..
* Check system event logs for any clues.
If you don't know how to do some of these things - ask.
Do not say "you've tried everything" unless you want a lecture - there is most definitely something you haven't tried. It's like when you can't find your car keys - you haven't looked everywhere - there is somewhere you haven't looked!
PS - Has Lightroom EVER worked on your machine? what's changed since then..

Si funciono antes puede que algo que se instalo últimamente genere algún conflicto.
Puede también que el problema se relacione a los controladores, de donde los has conseguido de la web oficial de soporte Lenovo?, estaría bien si quitas el controlador actual desde administrador de dispositivos e instalas los que estén aquí https://support.lenovo.com/es/es .
El enlace que dejas explica que la solución se dio a través BlueSoleil es un programa gestor de conexiones Bluetooth, este programa al parecer busca e instala algún controlador relacionado al bluetooth de tu ordenador, este programa es de pago.
Sobre el energy management este lo que hace es apagar/prender WIFI/Bluetooth a través de la tecla f7 o Fn+F7, de todos modos verifica si esta encendido, si no tienes el energy lo consigues aquí https://support.lenovo.com/es/es busca por modelo y sistema operativo actual en tu ordenador.

Bueno, parece que soltando las pestañas que estaban fijas, ya no sale la pestaña adicional y con la extension que me has pasado giagometti, hace la misma funcion que la de fijar pestaña y asi ya no sale esa pestaña a no ser que yo la abra que es lo que queria, asi que doy por solucionado el caso aunque me hubiera gustado que se pudiera hacer sin instalar esa extension

OK, understand that you:

In other words you have reinstalled Windows 8 thereby wiping all programs except those from the Windows Store.

Most likely, you downloaded the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom which will not accept your serial number. You need to uninstall it, reboot, then download the standalone version of Lightroom and install that.
