Aventail connect can't make a connection

I am using Avantail Connect OSX64.dmg. It worked fine but suddenly stop working both on my macbook pro and Imac. Aventail on my windows PC is working fine. It is clearly a mac issue.
Does some know what this could be ?

I had a similar problem with my new MacBook Pro but I think I'm running the 32 bit version. My old 2008 core 2 duo mac connected without issue. I read that changing the Java order so that 32 bit was listed first would resolve the issue (Applications->Utilities->Java Preferences). I found that this alone did not resolve the issue. I booted my Mac into 32 bit mode by holding the 3 and 2 keys down during boot. This did the trick, I was able to launch and connect to my employer's VPN connection without issue. I'm running version 10.0.2.042.
I understand how some feel the vendor should provide support but that is the MS way of doing things and it drives people away from the Mac. My employer forces windows and refuses to support macs. Fortunately they at least give my a mac version of Aventail but without ANY support. Without help in forums like this we would be forced to run windows.
Hope this helps.
Peace.
