Average wait time?

Hey everyone,
Probably a dumb question here, but I am switching to Verizon... I placed an order online the night of 9/25, for 3 phones (2 iPhone 4, and a Blackberry), porting all my numbers over from US Cellular.   Received the "Sales Confirmation" email that states it is pending final credit approval.   On 9/26, it said the order was being processed and to check back tomorrow... which it still says on the 28th.  I understand orders are probably a bit backed up with all the iPhone 5 people, so I was just wondering if anyone could provide me like an average on how long before it will go through and the phones ship (the money paid for the phones has still not been taken out of my account either).., basically I just want to make sure that either I or someone will be here to sign for the phones, and my job it isn't that easy to change shifts so I was basically just trying to have as much notice as possible.  I realize that I probably just need to be more patient, but I am about ready to smash this US Cellular phone with a hammer but I don't want to do that till I have my new ones from Verizon
Thanks all
Josh

  • The Average Wait Time of SQL instance "CONFIGMGRSEC" on computer " SEC_SITE_SERVER " is too high

    I have a SCCM 2012 SP1 CU4 environment with SCOM monitoring installed.
I also do have 4 secondary sites installed below my primary. The secondaries are using SQL 2012 Express version default deployed using the secondary site installation.
My SCOM monitoring is generating tickets with the following message:
The Average Wait Time of SQL instance "CONFIGMGRSEC" on computer "<SEC_SITE_SERVER>" is too high
How can i solve this ? Or do I need to ignore this ?

Never ignore messages, but tune them.

  • Wallboard - Calculating daily average wait time

In Historical Reporting, if we look up a queue's average wait duration for the day we are given 5:34.
At the same time, if I pull up avgWaitDuration in RtCSQsSummary, I am given 190505.  What number is this?  Seconds?  if in seconds, and the total calls answered for that queue is 248, then I should be able to divide 190505 by 248.  When I do that, I get 768 seconds.  768 (12:48) is a far cry different from 334 (5:34).  Where am I going wrong?

Ok, I determined that the number is not actual ASA, but apparently "avg queue time".  I assume this to mean the clock starts when the caller is placed in the queue, after completing the call tree.
I figured out how to calculate the time provided, and it matches the time in History Reporting for the "avg queue time".  But the time we ACTUALLY want is the "avg speed to answer", as found in History Reporting for each queue.
What table would I find the ASA from the time the caller enters the call tree?

  • Average waiting time for applecare standard service replacement????

Does anyone know how long it usually takes returning you Iphone 4 on the standard replacement option rather than the advanced option which applecare provide you. I sent my iphone on last saturday on the 7th and its not been 9 days but I suppose techniqually its probaly only 5 days seing as delivery only operates in Australia from Monday to Friday. Thats what I thought anyway. There are the floods in Queensland not to forgot so thats probaly held up mail aswell. But with all this would anyone find this odd that I havent heard anything or should I not worry about it?

yeh i'll give that a try actually. I havent asked them the status by phone yet. oh i don't know if you've seen the email they send you with the repair ID on before but it says you must return the Iphone 4 with 10 business days to avoid cancellation. Would Monday to Friday only count as business days or is it from the day I requested the repair and replacement service?

  • Uccx 9.0 expected wait time returns a -1 value

Guys I am trying to use the expected wait time feature in UCCX, however the value returned is -1 each time this step is executed. All the other feature such as average wait time etc all works, its just the expected wait time that doesnt. Any ideas please?

During your tests, the call activating the script you are debugging is actually in queue and with a real wait time?
I could find any related bug, can you check this links:

  • Wait Time & Roll Wait Time

In t-code ST03N, there are following info:
    1. Average Wait Time per Dialog Step (ms)
    2. Average Roll In Time (ms)
    3. Average Roll Wait Time (ms)
    Question:
    1. When will Roll Wait happen?
    2. What is relationship between Wait Time and Roll Wait Time?
    3. When dispatcher looking for free dialog wp, the dispatcher wait time occurs. From above two type of wait time, which one is dispatcher wait time?

  • UCCX Estimated Wait Time w/ default time?

Does anyone have a script for Estimated Wait Time that has a default wait time?  For example if the "default time" is 2 mintues and the actual EWT is 14 seconds it would say "2 mintues".  if the actual EWT then climbs to 6min 15 sec, it would say "6 minutes 15 seconds".
We're getting complaints when a rash of calls comes in and our EWT isn't able to calculate the trending change fast enough.
    UCCX 7.x

If your call center doesn't have a steady call volume or agents sign on/off frequently then you could try using the average wait time instead of the estimated wait time.  The average will be less volitile.

  • Courtesy Callback & Reporting Impacts on Wait Time/Average Speed of Answer

    Hello,
With CVP Courtesy callback, if a caller selects to be called back and then hangs up, will that period of time be also considered in the Skill Group's wait times and average speed of answer?  Or is wait time only considered when the caller is physically waiting on the phone?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Mike,
The caller is still considered "queued" for the duration. The CVP app that does the callback is run as a non-interruptable script, and keeps the ICM call active until the decision is made to call back the caller. ICM does not see this as any different from a regular queued call.

  • Measure the average read time of a single database block for hardware.

    Hi,
how to Measure the average read time of a single database block for hardware ?
    Many thanks.

    Hi,
A STATSPACK report has data file level I/O tunings, but they include buffered reads, so they are biased.
    Try this in 9i:
    http://www.dba-oracle.com/oracle_tips_cost_adj.htm
    select
    a.average_wait c1,
    b.average_wait c2,
    a.total_waits /(a.total_waits + b.total_waits)*100 c3,
    b.total_waits /(a.total_waits + b.total_waits)*100 c4,
    (b.average_wait / a.average_wait)*100 c5
    from
    v$system_event a,
    v$system_event b
    where
a.event = 'db file scattered read'
    and
    b.event = 'db file sequential read';
    Or this, in 10g:
col c1 heading 'Average Waits for|Full Scan Read I/O' format 9999.999
col c2 heading 'Average Waits for|Index Read I/O' format 9999.999
    col c3 heading 'Percent of| I/O Waits|for scattered|Full Scans' format 9.99
    col c4 heading 'Percent of| I/O Waits|for sequential|Index Scans' format 9.99
    col c5 heading 'Starting|Value|for|optimizer|index|cost|adj' format 999
    select
    sum(a.time_waited_micro)/sum(a.total_waits)/1000000 c1,
    sum(b.time_waited_micro)/sum(b.total_waits)/1000000 c2,
    sum(a.total_waits) /
    sum(a.total_waits + b.total_waits)
    ) * 100 c3,
    sum(b.total_waits) /
    sum(a.total_waits + b.total_waits)
    ) * 100 c4,
    sum(b.time_waited_micro) /
    sum(b.total_waits)) /
    (sum(a.time_waited_micro)/sum(a.total_waits)
    ) * 100 c5
    from
    dba_hist_system_event a,
    dba_hist_system_event b
    where
    a.snap_id = b.snap_id
    and
a.event_name = 'db file scattered read'
    and
    b.event_name = 'db file sequential read';

  • Estimated Waiting Time on UCCX

After doing some experiments, found out that Estimated Waiting Time on UCCX 9.0 (and possible other UCCX versions) is based on a 24 hours average an NOT in a 5 minutes average value as in ICM or IPCC Enterprise.
Several post on the community INCORRECTLY pointed out that EWT is based on a 5 minutes average.
Does somebody knows how to change the time windows that UCCX uses to calculated EWT?
    Thanks
    Alex

Two TAC cases that confirm that is 24 hours AND some testing I did (just in case):
    Process:
    - Make a few calls to a Queue, place some of the on hold for about 20-40 minutes and answer one of them for about 1-2 hour. (to create some statistics)
    - Wait 22 hours
    - Make two quick calls, answer first and the second was already showing a EWT of 3000 seconds. (confirms that at least 23 hours of data was taking into consideration)
    -  Wait 26 hours.
    -  Make two quick calls, answer first and the second was showing a EWT of 20s (normal) (confirm that after 24-25 hours counters goes down to 0 if there is no traffic)
I realize my process is empirical, but somehow confirm that is not 5 minutes, more closer to 23-25 hours.

  • What is normal range for CPU Wait time Per Dispatch on Hyper-V 2012

    Hello.
I am trying to troubleshoot some performance issues with an application that utilizes sql server, which runs in a Hyper-V Guest.
I have found that the ram, cpu, disk i/o all appear to be within normal range.
Before troubleshooting the sql end of things, I wanted to make make sure the vm isn't waiting for cpu time.
In Vmware, the metric for this is " CPU Ready". From what I can tell, the equivilant to this for Hyper-V on server 2012 is:
Hyper-V Hypervisor Virtual processor\CPU Wait time per dispatch.
I have fired this up and been monitoring it and found that the average is around 22,000, maximum 41,000.
The problem is, I have no idea if this is a normal or acceptable range. I can't seem to find any further information on actually interpreting this data, as to what is acceptable and what will cause performance issues etc..
Can anyone help enlighten me further on this?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Hyper-V reports this metric is in nano seconds. So, your average is around 22-41 ms (milliseconds). This is GOOD.
    Take this example:
This would be comparable to vCenter VM CPU Ready graph which displays VM CPU Ready time in milliseconds.
Note #1: This measures each virtual core presented to an individual VM. This will be different if you're not using hyper-threading on the host
Note #2:  This is scaled to a factor of 0.001, so that the scale on the left is in milliseconds - which is commonly confused with a percentage scale, which is is NOT.
Not to dismiss CPU issues, but generally the first place I look when troubleshooting SQL on a VM is storage access/speed/performance, regardless of what hypervisor is being used. I would verify best practices like putting databases on separate physical
storage that ends up on separate spindles on the storage back end, same for logs, same for temp db, same for temp log,...

  • MSExchange OWA : Average Search Time troubleshooting

    Hi
I am new on exchange and I would like to know what are the possibles causes of high values on MSExchange OWA : Average Search Time

    Hi,
The MSExchange OWA\Average Search Time shows the average time that elapsed while waiting for a search to complete. In your case, I would like to verify the value of "MSExchange OWA\Average Search Time" in your environment. Based on my knowledge,
the value shouldn't be larger than 31000ms.

  • Incorrect Alerts CPU Time and Average Response Time

    BUG
My Alert on Web app is consistently behaving incorrectly.
If I set an alert to monitor CPU Time at threshold 1.5 seconds, it's actually set to 1.5 milliseconds even though the graph shows a dotted red line at 1.5 seconds. The alert will trigger at 1.5 milliseconds threshold. So, instead, I have to set threshold
to 1500 seconds - the graph is completely useless showing a red dotted line at ~24 mins but the alert does then go off when CPU time goes above 1500 ms (aka 1.5 seconds).
The original portal alert seems to be fine - this problem is on new portal only. Unaffected by browser type - all browsers do the same thing (Just has to be said before someone asks).
This seems to apply to all metrics using seconds (Average Response Time acts in the same way)

    Hii...
Am sure you are much aware " Components Response Time spectrum"
