Avg Daily Usage

Is there a T code,Table, or report in SAP that will display the average daily usage of a component part? Basically an average of the depreq.

Hi Julie,
1. You can use transaction MB51...here give the material, plant and movement types based on the material type. for ex: if it is a raw material you can give 261, 201...and finally give the period for which you want to see the data.. then download in to excel and try to average it by the no of days...
2. You can use the transaction MCRE also
3. You can check with Material master M003  go to additional data tab  select consumption then total consumption , here u can see the material consumption month wise.
Hope this helps...
Thanks

  • MC46 - daily usage

    Dear,
SAP help explains the difference between uncheck and check of 'daily usage' option in t-code MC46.
    It says like below.
I really want to know the meaning of 'usage statistics'.
The result of uncheck and check of 'daily usage' option had big diffreence.
(In case of uncheck of this option, days since last consumption was 2.
However check of this option result in 575 days since last consumption.)
    Any answer would be appreciated.
    Daily usage
If you select this checkbox, the usage quantities and values are calculated directly from material document. This enables you to display usage in terms of daily values and quantities, because the posting date is updated in the material document.
If you do not select this checkbox, the usages are calculated on the basis of the usage statistics. It is only possible to calculate daily values if the correct period indicator (Day = D) is set for the material in the material master.
It is important to display daily values and quantities if you want to find out the date of the last consumption for a material that is a potential slow-moving item. If statistics are kept for a material on a monthly basis, and the 'Daily usage' option is not selected, then the first day of the month in question is set as the date of the last consumption.
Note: The 'Daily usage' option can increase runtimes. ...

  • Incorrect Daily Usage (Battery issue?)

    Hi all,
As an update to the discussions about batteries, first the brief background: I have been a long-time PDA user, and am used to poor battery life. My iPhone 2G, under moderate use, would last about 2 days. Heavy use 1 day. I expected the 3G to get as bad as 1/2 that.
Yesterday I used the phone for my drive in, then holstered it at the office, taking it out to update my calendar 2x. By 4pm my battery was dead.
I had reset the usage statistics, and discovered that the iPhone reported 1 hour talk time (correct) and nearly 4 hours of "Use" (only use should have been the talk time plus the 5 minutes of calendar updates), and 7 hours of standby.
It seems to me that this battery life issue (at least in my case) is more likely a software (process running that should not) rather than hardware (damaged battery/evil Apple) problem. However, I have no clue what could be running.
I ran a full restore last night (reset all settings manually -- did not restore from my backup), and shut off location services. We'll see if it helps, and if the usage stats are now correct. In the meantime, if anyone else has any ideas as to the problem, they would be appreciated.

    I found this solution:
    1. Delete all email accounts
    2. Select "Reset Network Settings" from Settings -> General -> Reset
    3. Select "Reset All Settings" from Settings -> General -> Reset
Yes you are obviously going to lose your email setups and network settings - you will NOT lose the Photos, Calendar, or iPod songs. If you select "Erase All Content and Settings" you will lose everything - be careful.
After the phone reboots - setup your email accounts and input your network settings.
I was told by a Genius at the Apple store that if you leave "Enable 3g" on, Location Services On, Fetch New Data to Push, it's going to use up the battery quickly.
As of yesterday morning, I have 3G On and Location Services On, and at the time of this post the battery is only down about 1/4. I have not turn on Fetch New Data - In my case I have no reason to have my phone set to on.
I am not a heavy user of the phone, but before I did the above, my battery was lasting 3 - 4 hours when I was not using the phone.
This also corrected the Daily Usage issue.
Hopefully, this will help someone out there!

  • How can I measure my daily usage of my macbook

    Hey,
I would like to know how many hours I use my macbook on a daily basis. Is there any application which just starts a timer as soon as the mac boots and then provides an overview of the total time, average usage time per day etc.?
    Thanks for your help,
    Voxius

It is a small "but" to the suggestion from Adnan Z. If the code you want to test execute fast. You must put it in a for loop a execute it say 1000 or 10000 times. This because the timer tick resolution is 1 msec at the best. Windows is not a real time system, so you may also have some jitter in the Tick Count output
Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

  • OBIEE report to calculate avg daily demand by month and product line

    Hello,
I have a requirement to calculate the average daily demand by month for each product line.
Each Manufacturing Org has the list of working days for the month.
    Mfg Org
    Month
    Working days
    M1
    Jan-14
    23
    M1
    Feb-14
    20
    M1
    Mar-14
    21
    M2
    Jan-14
    20
    M2
    Feb-14
    20
    M2
    Mar-14
    20
The data for demand in fact table is by day, Item, Org, Dem Qty
    Item rolls into Product Line
Based on when the MRP plan was run the number of working days for the month reduces.
So for eg if the MRP plan was run on 15 Jan then the number of working days reduced to 13 days.
Then the average demand for Jan will be all demand in Janurary/ # of working days left in January ie 13
The the average demand for Feb will be all demand in February/# of working days in February.
So how can I dynamically calculate the average daily demand by Org and product line based on when MRP plan completion date
    Any pointer highly appreciated
    Thank you

    What else you need?
looks like you got #working days for the month, use that metric as of jan 15th

  • Q10 - OS10 basic and daily issues

This is not an Q10 review, I just want to show several basic issues on Q10/OS10 phone/software. First of all, Q10 is excellent build - feel very good in hand and seems to last long time. I'm using an BB bold 9900 too, as second phone.
However and unfortunatelly, there's few issues that I want to show here:
    1. During a call the caller's name is show very small on screen. In fact, is the smalest thing that apear during a call. Is so small that I need to focus to be able to see who's calling. If there's no caller picture it's almost impossible to see the caller's name.
It will be great that if in absence of caller's picture the caller's name is shown bigger.
    2. The "End call" pictogram is splitting quickly their position into "End Cal" and "Recall" when a call is ending. So if I want to stop the call first call ending and make the second call fast, I'm in position to push "Recal"l instead of "stop call".
I think this pictogram's place changing should be not done. Better remains at their's initial places.
    3. The contacts search is not working properly - even is set to search for the first/second name. There are several missing contacts.
    This is very annoying.
    4. The search contact is not changing is colour when is selected. When this contact is the last shown on screen I have no clue if I push it to select - there's no move or colour change on it! So, I have to select an dthen to scroll up if I want to see the associated phone numbers.
It will be great if the search list moves up when I select the last contact shown on screen. And, obviously change it's colour like it's own phone numbers.
    5. The STOP/START PHONE option is missing!!! Cannot stop or start the phone on schedule.
    This mistake is unbelivable!
    6. The long push of the upper button does not contain the profiles - notifications! So, when a quick sound profile is nedeed there's no quick acces to this. I have to start the "Notifications" and there to set in a small window the "vibrations Only", or "Mute" notification profiles. Pushing the lower button on the phone side is not a quick solution.
If this out of reach profile notification will be on hand it will be great.
I am a 7 years BB fan and I used at least 10 BB devices. I hope the above basic issues will be integrated into the next OS 10 software update due to theirs daily usage.
    Thanks.

  • IOS 8.0.2 Excessive Cellular Usage

For 10 years my average cellular data usage per month has been around 250-350MB. Since updating to IOS 8, my cellular usage has gone up to between 1GB and 1.5GB. My daily usage is now in excess of 50MB for which I cannot explain since I disabled almost ALL services from using cellular. With the exception of find my phone and email I do not use iCloud. The applications I use have not changed in the past 3 months. I have checked the cellular data usage page on my phone and although the total amount of cellular data goes up, the amount listed by service only adds up to approximately 10% of the total. I have noted that even over night while on Wifi my cellular usage goes up.
I have done a full device reset with a restore from backup with no effect.
From what I can see from using Techet's "Network Analyzer" and "Status" , apple is maintaining at least two cellular connections to siri.apple.com. With the exception of Siri I don't see any other cellular connections being maintained although I noted that a reboot uses up to 7 MB of cellular data.
With the exception of turning off siri for 24 hours I'm at a loss as to what else to do to isolate my excessive cellular usage. I should also point out that at this point my guess is that this excessive cellular usage is whats draining my battery as well. Prior to IOS 8 I got two full days on a charge, now I get about 10 hours.
I will update this article once I have tested the siri theory.

I have been having the same problem. I average about 100MB of use a day. After switching to iPhone 6/iOS 8, my data usage shot up to 400MB per day.
From the iPhone's data usage tracking function, I realised that the excess data was being consumed by "System Services --> Documents & Sync", and not by any app. Chunks of around 300 MB were being used every day.
Similar to you, my data also goes up even while at home, asleep, and connected to wifi.
I have turned off every option that allows me to block or reduce usage of cellular data, including auto-updates, iTunes Match, background refresh, location services, etc.
I've turned off syncing wherever available, as I back up via iTunes anyway.
My Siri is switched off as well. But the problem still persists.
I've called Apple and they don't have a solution for this. They can only suggest restoring from a backup to see if it works. If it doesn't, they suggest restoring as a new phone.
Apple also refuses to intervene or assist in any way with the excessive data charges, even though I have pointed out repeatedly that the problems only began when I upgraded to iPhone 6/iOS 8.
In the meantime, my data usage is going through the roof and my service provider refuses to waive any of the charges. It is extremely frustrating and I really am at a complete loss as to what to do.

  • Broadband Usage - "unusual" spikes in our usage

In May we received a "warning" email from BT about our usage - and being fairly new to BT broadband I started to investigate the usage meter. As far as I can tell the ONLY way for me to see daily usage is for ME to log on daily and manually record the previous days total.
I called BT and they told me that due to data protection law they are unable to provide me with any detail about our usage, apart from the running total.
Not happy about this I made a complaint, and got put through to a chap who was able to tell me that in the previous week we had 1 days usage of 12GB and another of 5GB. Our totals for the previous 2 monthly were 19GB and 21GB respectively.
Our total for May was about 41GB (i.e. about 1 GB over our contract)
We do not watch TV on line
    We do not stream music
We do not "game" on line
We do email, internet searches and download podcasts (and have done this for years).
So the question is why are BT unable to provide ANY detaild data about broadband usage. They are able to record daily usage but why can't I see it?
Has anyone any ideas or suggestions about how to deal with this thorny issue with BT. You wouldn't go to a petrol station and pay for a full tank without knowing how much fuel you'd out it!!
    Thanks.

The data protection reference is cobblers. If there was anything in it how would Plusnet (owned by BT!) be able to provide all the detail you need in their usage monitor? Your question should not be why are BT unable to provide more detail, but why are they failing to.
If this is the first time you've exceeded your limit you won't be charged. Quite a few people have questioned alleged increeases in their usage lately and there have been reports of successful challenges to BT. Best thing is to keep an eye on it and report back here if further problems seem to be in the offing.

  • Sudden Jump in Broadband usage

This month I have experienced a sudden jump in my usage. My average daily usage has approximately doubled.
Yesterday usage was 2.1GB .... Have data traffic monitors running on my iPads and PC's and I have an enormous discrepancy.
My Internet WiFi is shutdown between 22:30 and 7:30 every day.
Usual average monthly usage is 30.04GB ..... so far this month I am at 22.5GB as of the 12/6/15.
Clearly, my worry is that my 40GB will be exceed and subsequently be charged for what I perceive to be bandwidth I have not used.
Where can I find out WHEN my Internet (as in time of day) is being used and ideally how much traffic has been generated during that period (on an hourly basis would suffice)

Unless I can resolve this, I guess the only answer is to cancel my BT Broadband and move to an unlimited package with another provider.
All I ask is for some basic information, breakdown of usage during 24 hours, how difficult can this be ! Any breakdown !
Call me cynical, but what better way to force users onto the more expensive unlimited packages in order the save going over their monthly limit. Had BT broadband for I think 3 years now and never once gone over my monthly limit.
Something is wrong and all I want is the answer to a simple request from BT.
Like I mentioned before, I know that their recording of user data is flawed.

  • SQL query using avg

HI, I need to write a report which incorporates averages taken from a table over the last 6 months. What would be the best way to do this if the table contains data from up to 2 yrs, and I only need the last 6 months?
HEre is what I need, and here is what the table looks like.
month usage seconds overusage account plan
    01/03 15 4300 4:30:15 0001 gold
    01/03 20 3490 2:15:00 0002 basic 100
    01/03 40 2400 1:20:00 0003 Family 100
    12/12 30 2600 1:00:00 0001 gold
    12/12 50 3200 1:20:20 0002 basic 100
    12/12 23 2345 1:30:30 0003 Family 100
    11/12 50 2300 2:00:00 0001 gold
    ETC, ETC
With the rates table being something of the order
    rate currency descr
    3$ US gold
    4$ US Family 100
    5$ US Basic 100
I need to have the avg for the overusage hours in the last 6 months for each customer, and avg $ spent on overusage.
ANy ideas on how to figure out the avg? and money spent on overusage?
    thanks...

Given that you know the abbreviation for average did it not occur to you to read the documentation looking for a function called AVG?
Now, if your tables were sensibly designed then all you would need to do is this:
    SELECT t1.customer, avg(t1.usage*r.rate), avg(t1.overusage*r.rate)
    FROM   t1, rates r
    WHERE  t1.month > (trunc(sysdate, 'MM') - 180)
    AND    t1.account_plan = r.descr
    GROUP  BY t1.customer
But from your sample data I would guess that month is not a date and overusage is not a number. So you'll need to convert them.
    Cheers, APC

  • BT Broadband Usage Monitor

I'm trying to keep a daily check on my Broadband usage; reason I overshot my limit last month.
But looking at the BT BBand Monitor it seems that it is not updated consistently.
At times the amount used increases but the dates of usage do not change.
Has anybody else had a problem?
How can BT use this to penalise excess usage if the system is not exact?

    Johnoo wrote:
OK, thanks, got in using "Admin", & have now changed Password !
Now please what am I looking for & where to give my Broadband usage?
Just looked at the BBand usage in my Account & the date has now updated
I have not used this router but I would expect to find the data usage as follows:
Follow the instructions given in the link I posted earlier as far as step 4 but click on Status instead of System at this point.
This should give a menu item of Broadband Connection (or similar) that should lead to "(a)dsl connection".
Amongst other things this should give Data Transferred (sent/received).
Note these figures and also the Uptime.
The Data Transferred figures will be rest to zero if the Uptime shows that your adsl connection has been reset.
If you do this on at least a daily basis you can check your daily usage by subtracting yesterday's reading from the current reading.  If you are getting strange readings you can check usage in real time by refreshing the window.

  • Usage Tracking OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0

    Good afternoon
    Hope you are all well.
Myself and our OBIEE team is having a problem with OBIEE Usage Tracking.
Everyday we could view our daily usage for our users (Query counts, row counts logged in users etc)
Since this morning (2013/04/03) our usage tracking report is displaying no data.
I am not sure but as far as i know the usage tracking looks at a certain table in the BI_PLATFORM schema and it seems to me that the table is not getting updated with data meaning inserting as we work on the system.
Have anyone encountered this problem before?
    Regards
    Rayno

We have looked at that table and the last record was inserted 27 March 2013.
Usage Tracking was only switched on the 27th of March, it ran fine for that day.
Since then no usage tracking was captured, although OBIEE has been used frequently.
The Config file looks fine, is there any service that needs to be running for usage tracking?
IS there a way to check if Usage tracking is running/listening?
What captures the usage and inserts it into the table?
The strange thing is everything was working one day, we made no changes and now it is not working.

  • Broadband Usage Monitor - past hstory?

Like several other customers I was accused of using my entire month's  10GB data quota in the first two weeks of January even though I'd hardy used the internet.
Checking the BT Broadband Usage Monitor I can only see the accrued usage for the month; there does not appear to be a way of checking the daily usage other than by remembering to go through the six pages every day to check the latest figures. I would like to be able to go through the month day by day. That way at least if you get a nasty shock towards the end of the month you can at least determine when the alleged usage was supposed to have happened.
Others on the Forum have stated that the Usage Monitor canprovide a more useful breakdown of usage but all the suggested links have taken me back to the same old page. The only option is to see the total usage or the upload/download split.
    Any further suggestions?
Incidentally have others noticed that the date of the last update seems to be 12 hours behind the date of the actual readings. i.e. if you look on day C before 11:00am you get the usage figures quoted for day B but the timestamp is 23:59 on day A. After 15:00 the usage figures have not changed but the date stamp has moved to day B's date. Likewise checking on day D in the morning now gives higher readings for day B (because they are the figures for day C).  This is useless, BT!

BT have access to a usage monitor that gives you Usage to date in the current Month, Usage per day for the last 31 days and usage per month for the last 12 months. If you cannot get this information yourself, you can phone or live chat and they should give you this information.
Aparently my usage has doubled for the past 3 months - what sort of a misinformed service must BT be running?
1st March I will record my router stats and calculate the throughput - I have already read about incorrect usages and know faults causing overpayment by loyal customers.
Simply dreadful service but checking this has shown BT have been double charging for a free service - dreadful!

  • Broadband usage extraordinarily high

My broadband usage seems to have gone through the roof over the past few months without any great change in what we do with the internet. Granted we have a lot of tech connected to the WiFi but I can't see that what we do should be sucking up so much data. We were on the standard BT Broadband with a 40GB allowance which seemed to be quite adequate, in that I never got an email from BT about charges. Recently we chanegd to BT Infinity with the same 40GB allowance and suddenly usage has gone mad, over 80GB for each of the last 2 months.
    We have:
2 laptops: One of these is used pretty much constantly by our daughter for Youtube, Facebook and email after school, so maybe 4 hours usage in the evening. Once or twice a week we'd watch BBC iPlayer or 4OD for up to an hour in bed. The other laptop is only used intermittently and then usually to play Minecraft and a bit of Youtube.
1 desktop: I play World Of Tanks on this for maybe 10 hours max in a week. Usually it's a struggle to get near it when there are 3 boys who constantly want to play Minecraft on it and then watch Youtube videos on it (about **bleep** Minecraft). The desktop would be on from 4:30pm - 10:30pm during the week and about the same length of time daily at the weekends (I do kick them out to the street occasionally!)
2 XBoxes: I is mine and is used very seldom and rarely online. The other is used by the kids but the only online stuff is Fifa 11 by one of the boys. Even at his worst this would be maybe 20 hours a week online.
2 iPhones: We download email and occasionally surf the odd page. I tend to download apps and updates at work and my fiancee rarely downloads new apps.
BT Vision box (which doesn't count towards the usage).
Currently the usage meter stands at 77GB and we're only 3 weeks into September so we seem to be on course for 100GB or more this month. The kids are back at school so computers don't get switched on till at least 4:30 and they're all off by 10:30 at the very latest. Also there's a hiatus for homework and dinner so they aren't on constantly. We don't use Skype or uTorrent so I'm baffled as to how we're using what must be 3GB per day!
I've seen stats that said 1 hour of XBox gaming is about 20MB and I'm assuming similar stats for PC multiplayer gaming. Even if I double the estimates of our XBox and PC gaming that's still only 1.2GB in a week!
Constant watching on Youtube is supposed to be around 100MB an hour if you allow for searching time. Even if our daughter was doing nothing else but Youtube every evening that's still only about 0.5GB a day. The boys occasionally interrupt their Minecraft playing to watch a Youtube video (about Minecraft!) but you'd struggle to see Youtube using up 1GB a day.
I guess that leaves our BBC iPlayer and 4OD watching. Possibly this is the culprit at 500MB per hour but we don't watch it every night and usually it's only 1 show which tends to be 30 minutes long. Even 1 hour a night would only add 0.5 GB to our daily total.
We do watch iPlayer via BT Vision but again that's not every night and BT Vision isn't meant to count towards your usage rate.
So adding up an overestimated account of our daily usage:
    Youtube: 0.75 GB
    iPlayer: 0.5 GB
    Gaming: 0.2 GB
That's roughly 1.5GB a day or 45GB a month. Throw in a few Windows and virus updates, a World of Tanks update and some Minecraft texture packs or whatever and you could push that to 50GB a month, but not 80GB and certainly not 100GB.
One evening last week Networx showed that the desktop had downloaded 1.2GB but it had only been on for a hour and our daughter swore blind she'd only watched some Youtube videos.
I use BT's Netprotect Plus and downloaded Trend Micro's Housecall to search for viruses but they didn't find anything. I'm wondering if there's something on one of my PCs that they didn't detect? Is there a difficult to detect rootkit on them or some kind of bot infestation? Are my estimates wrong? Do I need to ban Youtube in my house?
    Solved!

  • Records of download usage

    Hi,
I have recently gone over my 40GB download limit and am at a loss as to why.  I received an email stating that i was at 32GB on 12 September and since then have gone over.  I do not think i use that much data so can't understand why it would be so high.  I spoke to BT twice now and both times they have stated that they do not keep a record of anyone's downloads.
This surprises me as surely, if i am going to query my usage, they will need evidence to prove i have gone over my limit.  I am happy to pay if i go over my limit, that is only right, but to have to pay without being told what i have used seems very wrong to me.
I use the BT usage monitor but this doesn't tell me what i download and i really don't want to have to look at it everyday to record my daily usage.  I use the internet most days and download apps for my phone.  I may also watch one or two TV programmes using my XBox and SkyGO in a month but that is all.  I don't think this would take me up to 40GB.
Can anyone tell me if BT do in fact keep these records and also is there a way i can keep track of what i am uploading/downloading, not just how much?  I am happy that no-one is piggybacking on my network and think it would be handy to have a record of what i download when.

    Thanks,
That sounds like the kind of thing that would be useful.  Unfortunately i'm on a mac so can't use that one.  Will keep looking around.
It is only my girlfriend and I that use it and she browses the web on an iPad and that is about it....
