Avoid a student from registration if he has a dunning process active

Hi to all,
How can we configure FICA with CAMPUS Management to avoid that the students which owe one or more open items can register for a SC?
We are running the dunning process with no problem, and we have placed as an activity of the dunning a the FM CMAC_EVENT_0350_HOLD_SET. But the problem is that this FM sets a financial hold, not an academic hold.
How can we relate an academic hold with this dunning activity?
Is also neccessary that if the students pay all the open items that had a dunning procedure, these academic holds which prevent the students of registering, are turn off.

Sergio,
You can certainly just link that Financial Hold to the callup point for Registration, and the registration would then be blocked. This is done in the IMG under:
SLCM -> Processes in SLCM -> General Settings -> Holds -> Assign Hold Types to Callup Points.
Just assign your Financial Hold type to Callup Points 0012 and 0022 to block any program registrations

Sounds like an infection on the machine, not a FF issue. Run a virus scan by going to your anti-virus program yourself. NEVER click on any pop-ups that warn you of a virus even the red "x" to close it. Viruses can spoof the look and feel of legitimate dialogs and can even activate if clicking the "x" instead of closing. Simply ignore them, then run a scan manually.
Also, I've seen some recent redirects that send you to a spoof site that looks like WinXP "My Computer" page and shows that you have "viruses" with a click to scan or clean option. But this isn't My Computer, it's just a web page designed to infect you. Just close that page or tab.

Aperture has started random "processing"

I have been idle in the Aperture community for a while, but I have not found the answer to this problem in my searches.
My Aperture (Still 3.2.2) is processing a large number (2000) of images. It's just "Processing". There is no explanation of what it is doing or why it started. My wife started Aperture the other day and said "The computer's running slow". She does not know of any stray keystroke or menu option she chose.
Now, I have this "Processing" paused. While it was paused, I plugged an iPhone into my Mac. Instead of presenting me with an "Import from iPhone" window, Aperture started a secong "processing" activity! Now I have two "Processing" activities, without any indication of what or why!
I tried plugging in a different iPhone. It's fishy -- I did not get the"Import" window. However, Aperture did not start a third "Processing" activity.
The selection of photos that are being processed have no rhyme or reason to me. They are from different cameras, different years, different projects! Some are managed, some are referenced.
Does anyone have a clue what might have started this and what exactly Aperture is processing?

Have you tried letting it process overnight?
I don't doubt that the Processing activity will finish if I let it -- I'm just afraid of what it is doing! If I didn't ask Aperture to do any heavyweight processing on my photos with Places, is it doing something that I don't want it to? Is it messing something up?
And is there a reason you've not updated to 3.2.3?
I usually watch the scuttlebutt about problems with upgrades for a little while before I perform the upgrade. This time, my personal life got put on hold while I work crazy hours at work. Once I get a chance to think about things and make sure my library is sufficiently backed up, I will upgrade. I know Apple makes things easy, but I always take a good chunk of time to make sure my system is in a good state to perform an upgrade that is as important as Aperture.

Deleting "student" from login name

How do I delete the word "student" from next to my login name? I see instructions on changing the avatar (which I did) but I do not know how "student" wound up there. Anyway, how do I change that?

Excempting Students from Individual Assignments While Grade Categories are Weighted

I've taken Numbers' Gradebook spreadsheet and heavily modified it to match my school's grading system. Each assignment is relegated to a category (i.e. Projects, Assignments, Participation, etc.) and weights are applied to each category as a whole. I've managed to recreate this by having one table for student assignments which tracks assignment category, student names, and their scores out of possible points. I then created another table that pulls assignment info from the first table, organizes it by category, applies appropirate weighting, and then calculates the final grade.
What I haven't yet been able to figure out is how to excempt students from certain assignments without it royally screwing up the second table. Some students joined my class later in the year or were absent for certain participation projects, and I'd like to be able to either leave those spots blank or put a representative letter like "e" or something to show their grade will be calculated without that assignment.
I've seen several ways to do this and tried most of them, but none of them work with grade category weights as I'm using. Any suggestions? I attached a screenshot of the formula I'm currently using if that helps. Thanks for any ideas!

Try this:

I've used only Diana and Brent as they start with different scores.
The formula sums all scores in the same category for each student, and all points which are in the same category except those where no grade has been assigned to the student or the 'grade' assigned has been the lettr 'a' (for 'absent'). Other exemption codes can be added, following the same pattern as the last two argumentsin the formula given. The codes must be text so that they evaluate as zero in the first SUMIFS.
I used SUMIFS in the first part to match the syntax of the second part, even though there is only one condition to determine whether a value is included in this sum.
The Points line on the Summary table is not necessary to the calculations, as the total available points is calculated for each student, and does not include items for which the student was exempt.
Category weight does not appear in the formula, as it applies only when calculating the final overall score.

Can I prohibit students from setting a Passcode Lock in Apple Configurator with iOS 7?

I manage 120 iPads at a high school and am running into an issue with the iOS 7 update. Students now have the ability to go into settings and set a Passcode Lock which will be a hassle once they realize this. Does anyone know if Configurator has the ability to prohibit students from having the ability to set this? They also have the ability to set restrictions codes but I'm assuming I'll have to go into every iPad and set this myself to cut that off before it becomes a problem. I just can't find a way to do this for the screen lock code.

Sorry, but there still seems to be no way to block someone from setting a screenlock passcode.

All of my music that wasn't purchased from the itunes store has been faded out on my ipod, despite me being able to play them in itunes. half my songs have exclamation points but only in the 'on this ipod' section, and when i double-click no window appear

I'm freaking out because almost all my music except for those songs purchased directly from the iTunes store has been deleted from my iPod - about 35 gigs. The songs show up, but they're all faded out and unplayable from my device (I have the newest version). Exclamation points appear beside all my songs in the "On this iPod" section, and yet I can't double-click to locate the files as nothing pops up. Some of my music has a weird circle next to it and is even more faded out when I'm in the "On this iPod" section - that's been happening for a couple of days. Yesterday I tried to set my settings to sync with my library only, and it worked, but this morning everything got even worse with the rest of my songs disappearing. What's happening???? Help??

What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

As you have more than 1 computer authorised then you should be able to log into your account on your computer's iTunes (Store > View My Account) and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : authorising and deauthorising.

Since the block diagram would not be in edit mode.... Is it possible to "peer" into the executable, look at a VI and recover the block diagram? This owuld be for a deleted VI that is part of an executable which had debug mode enabled..

Extract VIs from an EXE? No problem. Even if debugging isn't enabled you can extract VIs, they just won't have block diagrams, and may not have front panels depending on if they were removed in the EXE making process.
Attached is an example project for making an EXE, the EXE itself, and a VI for extracting VIs from the EXE. The code is quite primative and it was just meant to demonstrate how this can be done.
To extract the Main.vi from the Application.exe, run Extract Main.vi from EXE.vi, provide the path to the EXE and the path to where the VI should be saved and then run the VI. This VI will set keys in the INI file for the application, then run th EXE. Then it opens an application reference to the EXE, then opens a VI reference to Main.vi. Then it aborts Main.vi, and extracts it.

In need of a Powershell script to move students from an OU to another OU

Good Day Everyone,
I was tasked to move students from the Students OU to Full Time / Part Time OU. I can possibly get this done in a short time BUT since I am a newbie, I would like to know what would be the best approach for me to get this done.
Details
1. There are about 1700 students
2. Import Students from an CSV file to be moved [fulltimestudents.csv AND parttimestudents.csv]
3. After importing the students > move them to the fulltime or parttime OU
Any suggestions before I start this and thank you all for your help.
