Avoiding Audio Aliasing when uploading music on the Web

Hi there,
A film production company is uploading excerpts of my score on their movie's website, which is cool; however, the sound has dreadfull aliasing !
As it seems I am the only one who cares about this, does anyone knows how to avoid this nasty noise ?
Audio sources are clean mp3's, Joint Stereo, at 128 kb bitrate.
I read that anti aliasing, low pass filters do exist…
Are there any Plug Ins available, can I manage this issue within MOTU Digital Performer ?
I am using DP 4.61 on G5 dual, running OS10.3.9

ahh, Flash....
since even the intro 'chime' sounds terrible ( well, worse than the rest )- I imagine they've compressed the sound files rather brutally, or using a very unflattering method. The whole flash file seems to be just 9.5MB, including video.
Anyway, sadly I've little knowledge of the exact technical aspects of flash-encoding, but the sound part shows as being 1-channel - that's to say, mono. Assuming you have little control over the website's methods, you might try giving them a decent-sounding mono file, in case that helps ( certainly I've known some awful sounding stereo-mono conversions ) and experimenting with higher/lower bit-rates on the files you send them.
It's possible, that sending them a good-sounding yet lower rate mp3 may yield much better results, there can certainly be marked differences in the same sized/bitrate mp3 sound quality using different encoders; even converting CD's to mp3 for example, I find my ears demand a much higher rate & consequent size from iTunes than say the lame based encoders.
Sorry this is just general, rather than specific, helpful advice.

You need a wifi connection to stream. Previously played tracks appear in a temporary cache which allows them to be played again when yOu have no wifi..
You can either predownload selected tracks or use cellular data.

I had to have my PC wiped clean and the OS re-loaded. I thought I backed up everything on my iTouch and iPad correctly, but when I try to sync, I'm getting a message that if I continue with the sync, I will lose everything on my device. That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the hard drive data is somehow corrupted.
Put your install DVD into the drive and reboot. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option key until the Install Disk shows up). That will force your MacBook to boot from the optical drive.
Once it has finished booting and you are at the Install screen launch Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is then select the First Aid Tab run Repair Disk and if that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.

How to make iTunes automatically add music to my library when its downloaded from the web?

Before OS Yosemite, when I downloaded music off the web it would automatically be added to my iTunes library. Now they just ends up in my downloads folder but once I click on them, they start playing in my iTunes.

I don't have Safari installed here to look at, but I'd imagine it has a similar way to open certain kinds of downloaded files in specified applications.
In any case, the second method -- directing the download to your Automatically Add to iTunes folder -- is simple to do in any browser.

The statement from that web site is completely incorrect. What they probably meant was that their software doesn't support Mac. IMHO this is a sign of either ignorance or lack of concern on the part of the site creators. Back in the dark ages a lot of PC apps didn't support Mac but not these days.
Get into your Mac Help window and search MIDI. There's plenty of info there on how your Mac supports MIDI.

Software update will only bring you up to the current level of the system you are using - you are at the maximum for Snow Leopard. To get Lion or higher you will have to go to the Mac App Store in Applications and purchase it there (Yosemite is free). You will need to check that your Mac meets the requirements and you should particularly note that PPC programs such as AppleWorks will not run in Lion or above.
The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). Mountain Lion (10.8.x) is also available there at the same price (though it's reported to have been removed from sale in some countries so may well cease to be available generally) but there seems little point as the system requirements are the same for Yosemite (10.10.x) - which is free - unless you need to run specific software which will run on Mountain Lion only.

If the problem is only with Safari and you are otherwise happy with Snow Leopard you could switch to FireFox (free) - the latest version of that will run in Snow Leopard.

- Use the splice tool in PS6.
- Export the slices with "Save for web", as gif-files.
Then the dpi value is removed, the gif files has no dpi value (it's empty).
How can we stop PS6 from removing the dpi value when using "save for web"?

Load oracle jdbc driver error when run applet via the web

I have built an applet which connect to database via jdbc thin driver. It works fine when I run it through the applet viewer, but got a problem when run it through the web.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleDriver
I am using jdev9i 9.0.4 and jdk 1.4.2. The jdbc version is 9.0.1
I have added both the classes12.zip and ojdbc14.zip in the class path and also pack them together with my applet class. Here is the code

Well you haven't "packed" them correctly. Why don't you just add the driver bits to the soucebase tag? or something like that anyway...

The "Choose File" buttons will only work if you are running Safari (or other browser) on a full computer with a recognizable file storage system (hard drive). As neuroanatomist said, on the iPhone you will need to use one of the photo-sharing apps.

Many web pages uses a table system and when you copy you get the table too. Pages 09 retains the table. PAges 08 don't.
Tryy this: When you have pasted into a Pages document select some text and then hit Cmd + A to select all text. Paste into a new blank document. Tha tshould help.
