AVS - Multiple destination Mapping

Hi All,
I Deployed AVS with ACE 6504E bundle,we just want to configure multiple destinationm mappings inthe AVS box. What i heard in AVS we have to define different port no's for different VIP's .But when i applied a new VIP with new port no: it not wroking at all.... if anyone has tried it ..please get me solution...

The application appliance uses destination mapping to proxy requests to a specified destination IP address and port number or hostname and port. The application appliance supports wide scope mapping and host header mapping.

• Possible to add Multiple Destinations on WORLD MAP?

Can I add multiple destinations in 1 world map in imovie? Or only the Start and End location? Thanks

You cannot have multiple destinations in a single map, but you can go from point A to point B to point C to point D, etc. You do this by putting several maps adjacent to each other. So the first map is A to B. The second is B to C. The third is C to D, etc.

• Maps App: Multiple Destinations

Two questions:
A) Is there a way for me to input multiple destinations into the Maps application.
B) If so, is there a way that Maps can order the stops in the Route from closest to furthest so that I can make the most of my time? (i.e. if I put 3 different destinations, I don't want it to take me to the further one first just because I have it listed first).
If this is not possible in the Maps app, is there a website I can use to do this?

No, there is not.

The Maps App does not have routing capabilities like a dedicated car navigation GPS would have.

• In XI Mapping multiple fields mapping to single target field.

Hi Friends,
In XI Mapping multiple fields mapping to single target field.
For example my requirement is :
Source Fields:(This RFC BAPI Structure)
Empno                0-1
EmpName           0-1
Address             0-1
Taget Field is:
Details               0-1
The above three fields passed to the Details Field. Here i am using Concat function
But i have one query on that on,Every field having "line Break" required.
Can you please help me out above this requirement.
Thanks in Advance,
Sateesh N.

If you want a line break between the three fields, then try
passing a,b,c to the udf and in the udf you would have
return a+"\n"+b+"\n"+c;

• APP that will copy to multiple destinations at the same time?

Is there an APP that will copy folders to multiple destinations at the same time?
I'm copying like 16GBs at a time.. And would like to write to 2 separate destinations at once. SPEED is very important. A verify function would be very nice...
Tx..
Joe

This can be easily accomplished using Automator. Create a new Automator Files/Folders action. Steps involved are 'Get Specific Finder Items' and 'Copy Finder Items'. Save this as a Finder Application. I have a few of these just for copying to multiple destinations at once.
Copy speeds are dependent only to the buses that the drives are connected to. If the drives are all on separate buses, copy speeds will be as fast as they can be.
Hope this helps.

• Multiple Message Mapping

Hello Guru,
I am doing a multiple message mapping. the purpose is:
the source message structure is
MT_input
|row <1...unbound>
|---plant
|---name
the two target message structure are:
MT_output1
-|row <1...unbound>
|---plant1
|---name1
MT_output2
-|row <1...unbound>
|---plant2
|---name2
there can be many row in source message, the value of plant could be 1 and 2.
I want all rows with plant = "1" goto MT_output1,
all rows with plant = "2" goto MT_output2.
but I can not accomplished this job with graphic mapping. could you give me help?
I don't want to use Java Mapping.
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
MT_input
|row <1...unbound>
|---plant
|---name
the two target message structure are:
MT_output1
-|row <1...unbound>
|---plant1
|---name1
MT_output2
-|row <1...unbound>
|---plant2
|---name2
solution :
MT_input                                                 MT_output1
-|row <1...unbound>                            |row <1...unbound>
if the plant[context set to MT_input] is equals to 1 then map row from source to row in target[MT_output1]
plant and name mapping are direct.
Repeat the same mapping for MT_output2.
This definitely works, i have tried it.

• Multiple destinations for idoc metadata necessary in AAE

Hello,
we are trying to setup the AAE IDOC adapter in netweaver PI 7.3 sp5.
I am still trying to find my way in the new system, but I get the impression that you can only implement one destination for idoc metadata in the NWA.
This is not suffcient of course since different connected systems can have different custom idoc types.
Is this true? If not how should I configure multiple destinations? the inboundRA resource adapter only points to one destination.
Can I define multiple inboundRA resource adapters or is it possible to have multiple destinations in it?
One parameter of the inboundRA is programID which would lead me to think that multiple destinations based on program id must be possible somehow

Tom

Hi Tom,
It is possible to have multiple destinations and this can be achieved by maintaining the multiRepository parameter value in properties in inboundRA resource adapter. We can specify as many values depending upon the number of destinations. The convention to specify the destination is as follows:
<SID>=XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_DESTINATION_<SID>

• Multiple Toplink Mapping files

Hi All,
I have 8 modules in my project, I would like to maintain separate toplink mapping file and persistence-config.xml file for each module.
Ex: in struts we can have separate struts-config.xml file for each module like struts-admin-config.xml, struts-moderator-config.xml, struts-dashboard-config.xml files and we will configure those information in web.xml file for Actionservlet input params.
Is it possible to have multiple toplink mapping files and persistence configuration files for each module in a project.
Thanks & Regards,
B.V.Suresh Babu.

Thanks a lot for your direction!
I am using xtreme framework alongwith Toplink. I use codegen tool to generate extreme BOM (business object model) classes. I an unable to introduce my logic as you suggested to use Direct Mapping.
I am not able to find more details and/or complete example to use any of your suggested approach. Please do send me any stuff you can send for the same.

• Multiple destination tables, oracle sequence problems

Hello,
Please look at this sql - there is 2 steps to add data to 2 destination tables:
- step1:
INSERT INTO OBIEKTY (ID_OB, TELEFON, FAX, NR_LOKALU, UWAGI, ULICA, GEOM, NR_BUDYNKU, KOD_POCZTOWY, LISTA_OBIEKTOW, EMAIL, GMINA, NAZWA, WOJEWODZTWO, MIEJSCOWOSC, USUNIETY, POWIAT, JEDNOSTKA_WYJAZDOWA, MIEJSCOWOSC_POCZTY)
VALUES (OB_SEQ.NEXTVAL, null, null, null, null, 'Legionowa', null, '8', '15-099', '0', null, null, 'WSSE w Białymstoku',null , 'Białystok', null, null, '0', null);
-step2:
INSERT INTO ZASOBY (ID_ZAS, UZYT_TWORZACY, UWAGI, UZYT_OST_MODYFIKACJI, DATA_OST_MODYFIKACJI, DYSPONOWALNY, DATA_UTWORZENIA, USUNIETY, ID_SPRZETU, ID_PAT, ID_MAT, ID_INST, ID_KATEGORII, ID_OBIEKT, ID_POZ_SL, ID_OSOBA, IMPORT)
VALUES (ZAS_SEQ.NEXTVAL, 'import', null, null, null, '0', SYSDATE, '0', null, null, null, null, KTZ_SEQ.CURRVAL, OB_SEQ.CURRVAL, (select p.id_poz_sl from pozycje_slownikow p join slowniki s on p.id_slownika=s.id_sl where s.nazwa like 'TYPY_ZASOBOW' and p.kod = 'OB'), null, '1');
There are problems with sequences. As you can see, there is OB_SEQ.NEXTVAL in first step and OB_SEQ.CURRVAL in second step. It's impossible to define multiple destination tables in one interface. But, if I do this in multiple interfaces, OB_SEQ.CURRVAL will be undefined in second interface.
Also, all steps should be performed row by row. So: first step for first row, second step for first row, first step for second row, second step for second row etc. This don't happen if I use multiple interfaces - first step will be performed for all source records and then, second step will be performed for the same records - this is not what I want.
Do you have any tips what is the best way in this case?

Hello,
Unfortunately, problem is not solved still. As you can see, there are 2 sequences, from 2 not joined tables: KTZ_SEQ.CURRVAL, OB_SEQ.CURRVAL. KTZ_SEQ.CURRVAL is declared here:
insert into KATEGORIE_ZASOBU (ID_KTZ, UZYT_TWORZACY, UZYT_OST_MODYFIKACJI, LOKALIZACJA, DZIEDZICZENIE, DATA_OST_MODYFIKACJI, DATA_UTWORZENIA, DYSPONOWALNA, SYSTEMOWA, WYBIERALNA, OPIS, NAZWA, USUNIETA, ID_KATEGORII1, ID_POZ_SL, IMPORT)
values (KTZ_SEQ.NEXTVAL, 'import', null, '0', '0', null, SYSDATE, '0', '0', '1', null, 'Jednostki WSSE', '0', null, (select p.id_poz_sl from pozycje_slownikow p join slowniki s on p.id_slownika=s.id_sl where s.nazwa like 'TYPY_ZASOBOW' and p.kod = 'OB'), '1');
So, summary:
- there are 2 steps (OB_SEQ.CURRVAL. KTZ_SEQ.CURRVAL) are set
- third step: insert some hardcoded data + OB_SEQ.CURRVAL. KTZ_SEQ.CURRVAL values.
Since KATEGORIE_ZASOBU and OBIEKTY are not joined, I can't add them as datasources in my interfaces (how to create join?) and set CURVAL?

• Multiple Table Mapping To Single Entity in Workshop 8.1

I've taken a test run on creating entity beans with workshop 8.1, although mapping
an CMP entity to a single database table looks to be relatively straightforward,
I can't seem to find a way to map multiple database tables to a single CMP entity
(at least not via workshop). Do I have to manually modify the deployment descriptors
after building with workshop?

Thanks, John.

Is there any example of using ejbgen to map single EJB to multiple tables?
Jingwei... I found this at: http://www.beust.com/cedric/ejbgen/#multiple-table-mapping
By default, Entity beans are mapped to one table, with the attribute
table-name
on the tag @ejbgen:entity. If you want to map your Entity bean to more
than one
table, you can use the table-name attribute on individual @ejbgen:cmp-fields.
All the CMP fields that do not have a table-name attribute will use the
table
specified on @ejbgen:entity (which can therefore be considered as the
"default"
table).
If you want to map an Entity bean to several tables, you need to specify
a comma-separated
list of tables in the table-name attribute (and also on column). For
example:
* @ejbgen:cmp-field
* column = "bal1, bal2"
* table-name = "Table1, Table2"
Make sure that the number of tables matches the number of columns, and
that the
columns exist in the corresponding table (for example, in the example
above, Table1
must contain column bal1, and Table2, bal2).

• [File Upload] Multiple Destination ??

Hi all friends,
Iam facing problem with Uploading of one file in multiple destination means user can select multiple remote destination from client interface(swing) and my application should send that file in all remote destination from local hot folder.For that I have used Jlist Box with Multiple selection mode in swing client interface.Presently my application is working fine with one destination and multiple files.Iam little bit confused about the way of proceed Can any one plz guide me how I should proceed, I want only logic or some suggestion.Iam using Tomcat4.1.24 and servlet.
Thanks & Regards
Bikash

why are u using servlets? servlets/JSP are for HTTP. you should write another standalone network server program which correspond to the client instead.
network server program
-sockets?
-JMS?
-CORBA/RMI?

• Distribute the report to multiple destinations

Hi all,
I have one report, that I would like to distribute to multiple destinations. I would like to show the report output (PDF) to the user (destype=cache) and parallel save the output in a PDF file (destype=file).
Is it possible?
Here is my distribition file:
<destinations>
<foreach>
<file id="test1" name="&&ltname>" format="pdf" instance="this">
<include src="report"/>
</file>
</foreach>
</destinations>

This is just a thought, as I am no Excel guru. Once the data is in one worksheet, you should be able to use Excel macros to split the data up and move it around (as long as the number of rows doesn't change).

• BO Enterprise Infoview schedule multiple destinations

We're using Business Objects 11.5, Crystal 11.5.8.826.
I have many Crystal reports that I'm currently scheduling in Enterprise/Infoview twice simply because I have two destinations and formats: 1. rpt on Enterprise server 2. pdf on network location. This means I'm hitting the database twice as much as I need to. Is there a way to have multiple destinations/formats for one schedule? Or is there a way to create a pdf from an already created rpt?
Thanks for any insight.

Or is there a way to create a pdf from an already created rpt?
There has to be... Isn't that how the PDF files are made - via Exporting? Unfortunately, I'm not sure how you'd do it in BOE. I mention this to point you in a possible direction...

Multiple default values for a presentation variable is only possible in 11g as Srini Said.
Check mark : Enable user to select multiple values. (under variable datatypes)
http://obieetraining11.blogspot.com/2012/08/obiee-11g-using-presentation-variable.html
If it is 10g, then it is not possible.

• NX-OS Netflow exporting to multiple destinations

Does NX-OS support exporting of netflows to multiple destinations? I know in some versions of IOS you could export to the same port on two different IPs. This would be extremely useful for us to simultaneously evaluate different Netflow packages and compare like traffic for like.

I'm trying to add another exporter to the monitor but getting:
ERROR: Flow Monitor: netflow-monitor-1 is in use. Exporters can not be added or deleted while monitor is in use.
If I disable feature netflow I lose my complete config. I there a way to stop the flow so I can add my other exporter?
I was able to add the other exporter (router 1) by deleting and re creating. Just trying to avoid re creating again...
Thanks
