AW 6.???

Question

Hi: I have a G4 and G5, both with AW 6.2.9 on it. I have been using Claris/AW for years and plan to continue until I have no choice, I guess.
Anyway, I now have a cute little G3 I use at my office with AW 5.0 in it. I also have system 9.2.2.
What AW version/upgrade do I need, or get to be compatable between these computers. I think I read 6.2.9 is only for OS 10.x???
So, (1) what version (6.??) should I get and (2) will I be able to use share documents between these computers?

AppleWorks 6.2.9 is the OS X component of the current version of AppleWorks. The Classic (OS 8/9) component is 6.2.8. A purchased copy of AppleWorks 6 will install both the OS X & Classic components in what appears to be a single application. Double-clicking that application icon will open the version/component appropriate for the running OS.
There is no upgrade path to AppleWorks 6 from any prior version of AppleWorks or ClarisWorks, it must be purchased. You could try <a href=http://listings.ebay.com/aw/listings/list/all/cat egory3792/index.html>eBay and do a search for "AppleWorks" or "Apple Works" (some people put a "space" in the name). Hardcore Mac sells AppleWorks 6.2.4. And, last but not least, you could buy a new retail box of AppleWorks from the Apple Store (in person or online) or any reseller who sells Apple software.
