Awesome Apple case, but could it stain my iPad?

First of all kudos to Apple for designing such an innovative case without traditional materials, such as leather.
I am curious if anyone's ipad has become stained by using the case.
After a week, I have used mine in humid conditions and even dampened the case slightly just to see.
So far, I have not had a single color mark on the aluminium!
I hope that it stays this way, but would love to hear from users who have had their iPad for longer.

Has anyone been able to get to the bottom of this discoloration issue?
I've been using the apple case from day one (no zagg or other film). Yesterday I took it out of the case and the back is terribly stained from the case.
It's had normal use in a climate controlled environment and has never been wet.
The apple rep who sold it to me never mentioned having to take it out of the case to charge as others have mentioned, but it does not get noticeably hot when charging.
It's very disappointing to use an apple product only to find it has cosmetically ruined my iPad.

Downloaded widget from apple site,but could not install it

This morning I downloaded a widget "BBC,WDGT" from Apple website, but it could not be installed.

What happens when you try to install the widget? If you get a message that the app comes from an unidentified developer, Gatekeeper is preventing you to install the widget > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5290
To install the widget, there are two ways:
1. Right-click the installer and choose "Open".
2. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, and choose "Anywhere" under "Allow applications downloaded from"

Don't forget that Time Machine remains an option in the meantime for creating regular backups of Microsoft-based files when used in conjunction with a Time Capsule or backup drive.
Time Machine in Lion also keeps making copies when you're not connected to the TC or drive.
TM backups are hourly for the last 24 hours, daily for the past month and weekly for all previous months.

Go to Settings -> iTunes & App Stores, tap on Apple ID and Sign Out. Then sign in using the proper e-mail address and password.

You may want to take a look at process for downloading past purchases found in the article below. One key thing to keep in mind it to make sure that you are signed into the iTunes Store with the same AppleID that you used to purchase the content you need to download.

Home sharing works for apple TV, but no longer works for iPad or iPhone

Originally I thought the problem was just something was wrong with my iPad. All of a sudden, whenever I try to load videos from my home sharing library into my iPad, the little circle that indicates the percentage of library that's been loaded would only form a semicircle - half way around, indicating about 50% of the library was loaded, then freezes and loads no more.
I was having so many problems with my iPad that I did a restore on it. After the restore, the library did load, but before I played any of the videos, it went back to the way it was before, half loading and freezing.
I just this week replaced my iphone with a new 5s, and even though I don't really plan on watching videos through home sharing on the iphone, I thought I'd see how it behaved. It behaved identically to the ipad.
In the meantime, our apple TV streams home sharing flawlessly, which is good, because if I'm going to have problems with home sharing, I wouldn't want it to be with the apple TV.
Still, though, I'd like to be able to use my iPad again since It's proven handy in the past.
I have upgraded to the latest ios on both the iPad and the iPhone, however, the problem didn't start when I upgraded, I used it for a couple of weeks before the problem developed.
I'm using a virtually new airport extreme for my home network.
I can only assume the problem is in itunes somewhere, but where I don't know.

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

Yes, I have both my iPhone and my iPad logged in all the time. Have you tried logging out and then logging back in? Here is an article that may help:

You can move the rental between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period. However, the movie can only be played on one device at a time. If you rent a movie on an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV, it is not transferable to any other device and you must watch it on that device.
Probably not what you wanted to see, but there it is. I believe this is tied to the liscensing agreements with the studios.

Verified apple id but verification failed message on iPad

I have recently bought a new iPad and was trying to set up my iCloud Account. I had to change my email address via the Apple website as I noticed an error in the address. I then followed the verification steps and when I returned to the Apple ID website page noted a green tick next to 'verification'. When I returned to my iPad, it now shows the correct email address (for verification) but the wrong email address under my name, and a message keeps popping up 'Verification Failed. The connection to iCloud timed out.'
Any ideas how to fix this?

Rented a movie on my Mac but could not watch it on Apple TV

I rented a movie from my computer and tried to watch it through 3rd generation Apple TV but could not pull it up. Home sharing is on both my computer and Apple TV.

The movie needs to be fully loaded on your computer before it is accessible. Make sure both are signed in with the same ID. Ensure you are going to the Computers icon on Apple TV

when you start using iCloud on any iOS device and enable find my iPhone, this prevents a new user from using it, and also prevents anyone from using the phone
as it is locked to previous owners account ,this is also the case if when a phone is lost or stolen.
the only way around this is to have the previous owner reset their apple id by going to @ applied.apple.com
if they are unable to do this, then the only other way around this is to have the previous owner get a copy of their original receipt and call apple support who can then lift this lock if they get a copy of the receipt
