Awkward battery behavior. Any ideas?

Ok, here's the dealio. I have a six month old MBP 15". After analyzing my battery's behavior, I think something is going on. I have smcFan Control and iStat so I'll post what these apps have on it.
Fan Control: Currently at 73 C & 4604 rpm each fan.
iStat: 4604 rpm each fan.
With medium brightness, only medium browsing I get about 1:30 hrs of battery use. It takes around 3 hrs, at the least, for the battery to fully charge. The top-left portion of the MBP, top and bottom, gets medium hot to very hot. I have tried placing the MBP on a level surface to no avail. Any suggestions?

The "idle" rpm on that machine is around ~2000 RPM. The fact that you're over double that would most definitely indicate an issue. In Activity Monitor, if you show "My Processes" what else is running?
Let's try this... shut the machine down for an hour or so (or overnight to ensure it's cool) and then start it up. Let it sit, idle, on the desktop with nothing running. Do the fans immediately ramp up? If not, go to use the machine as you normally would and take notice of what you're running. If so, go ahead and make a new user account on the machine and login to that user. Does the issue persist there as well?
The fans on Apple portable computers are typically "reactive" rather than "proactive" so the fans may run for a bit even after the load-bearing process quits.

Downgrading is not supported. What IS supported is searching though the forums....there are a number of excellent posts with great suggestions on maximizing battery life and troubleshooting battery issues.

Ghost links - wierd link behavior - any ideas why?

I'm having strange problems with links. Some work fine, but others do the following:
a) when you rollover them, display a blue box with a question mark, as though there should be an image there. Clicking it still works, but why the blue box?
b) when you roll over them, they show the title from a previous link, or a link somewhere else on the page. The link still points to the right place, but a rollover gives the name of another link.
c) Providing a link http address that is not even on this website, but I used on a previous website. I once opened this page with Contribute, and this may have caused the problem... but I don't know why. I didn't enter any new data.
Any ideas?

This problem I am unsure of. If you are talking about the browser autofilling an old URL for you, this is related to the browser history setting.
If you are talking about hyperlinks on your pages pointing to the wrong URL, then either emptying your cache or doing a "Publish All" will probably rectify things, as long as you are seeing the correct link in the iWeb program.

My nano is constantly turning itself on and killing the battery. Any ideas?

I will do the full shut off but out of nowhere I will see the screen turn on. Battery is dead within a few hours.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

The battery life on my ipod touch 4g is really poor any ideas?

in stanby mode after a full charge from 10 percent to 100 percent in the night drops to about 20-50 percent in the morning ( 9 hours). bluetooth is off, i close all apps, screen brightness is 50 percent ( not that this affects it in standby mode), the wifi is on. wifi should not use tthis amount of power. Also when im playing or surfing on my ipod the battery drops from 100 percent after full charge not surface charge to 50 perecnt within 30 mins or usage again everything above ^ is on or off. Any ideas cause i dont really want to change ipods as it has a 15 pound screen protector on it which i dont have the money to waste on buying another pack. Also if i did have change it would i be able to swap ot for a white one?

- When sleeping the iPod can use wifi and if it has trouble connecting it will keep trying and drain the battery. I leave mine in airplane mode when sleeping. Otherwise it is frequenlty drained like you see on yours.
- The rapid drop whe playing vido seems to indicae that something is wrong.
- If your iPod is defective and under warranty, Apple will give you a refurbished one of the same model.

Try charing it to 50% at least.
If all else fails, try putting it in DFU mode. Connect it to iTunes, (iTunes may not detect the device, but that's ok) hold the power and home buttons down for 10 seconds, then release the power button but keep holding the home button until it goes into DFU mode. iTunes should detect it and ask for a restore.

It's orientation lock. Double tap the home button, swipe left to right, far left is the orientation lock. Tap on/off. Tap home button when finished.

There are other methodologies of scanning a HD
which involve data extraction, but loss of metadata is often the result if the directory is corrupt.
Metadata is the info on what the data IS.
Like having all your papers thrown in the air, its all there, but just a giant mess.
This is why you always always must have several external HD redundancies of your data. One isnt enough, neither is two really.

Resolving issues
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge for up to 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue is persists, please contact Apple Support.

Try restarting
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

Strange keyboard controller behavior in Mainstage - any ideas?

I just upgraded to Logic 9 and noticed some weird behavior in Mainstage.
Whenever I trigger a note on my Roland D-50 (I'm using it as a MIDI controller), sounds cut off right after I let go of the key. My sustain pedal doesn't work either. I also have a Yamaha P-85 and a M-Audio O2 which I also use as controllers and everything works fine.
When I load Logic itself, everything sounds fine when playing on the D-50 which really has me stumped as to what the issue is.
Any ideas? Is there something fishy about the MIDI spec on the D-50?

Apparently this is a bug - I filled out a product Feedback form on Apple's website.
For whatever reason, the D-50 sends NOTE ON->NOTE OFF->ALL OFF (CC# 123) MIDI events for every note you play.
All apps I use (Garage Band, Live, Reason, Logic, Sonar, Cubase) simply choose to ignore the last ALL OFF event except for Mainstage.
Hopefully Apple will address this soon.
