Axis2 for netbeans

Hello,
This might not be the best place to pose my question but if anyone has any ideas, they will be much appreciated.
Is there a tutorial on how to develop web services with the new netbeans 6.1 beta using Axis? I have googled for it but couldn't find anything.
Any ideas will be much appreciated.

(These forums support the Java language, not NetBeans and other IDE questions.)

I don't see a dedicated forum for JavaFX/Netbeans users. At the forums.netbeans.org site there is'nt anything dedicated for JavaFX. Here there is'nt anything dedicated for Netbeans.
IMHO a dedicated forum would be valuable. JavaFX seems to be the "future client stack" for Java and Netbeans the principal IDE that supports it.
What do you all think ?.

There is no forum at NetBeans forum site dedicated for JavaFX since there is no overwhelming amount of messages with JavaFX topic for requiring separation from the nbusers forum.

I don't. For the moment it seems too complicated. I follow the MVC pattern when the application is big and try to look at the code of successful projects.

Blueprints popupcalendar component for Netbeans 5.5

HI all,
I tried to run a java studio creator application in Netbeans 5.5 IDE.But i got the following errors
package com.sun.j2ee.blueprints.ui.popupcalendar does not exist
I guess the blueprints components need to be integrated in the netbeans.Can anyone suggest any link to download the blueprint components for Netbeans 5.5.

Unfortunately, there is no widely used forum for VWP. Most people use the NetBeans Users mailing list and just put VWP in the subject. Some people use a service such as Nabble to make the mailing list more forum like.

MarlaOh. To answer your question, try letting any programmer fresh out of school or one that migrated to java from lisp have a crack at your code. Right at the moment Im looking at code like that and no obfusicator could be worse. =(

I know very well that NetBeans is neither a programming language nor a runtime. I know very well that NetBeans is an IDE for Java Language and specifications (with some other techniques and specifications too). I also know very well that NetBeans ( obviously IDE) is supported by Sun.

For your kind information, I would like to tell you that I have been using Crystal Reports for more than 2 years with Visual Studio .Net. I had found a Crystal Reports package for Eclipse IDE (I assume you know what it is) a year before. So I assume that there could be a Crystal Reports package for NetBeans 6.0 IDE also. I had searched Internet, NetBeans Plugin Pages, www.businessobjects.com and many other websites but all in vein. So, I think that I may get a link or any satisfacting answer from this forum. But, again all in vein.
I would like to make two suggestion that,
1. DON'T CATCH ONE'S TOUNGE.
2. LET YOUR NOSE OUT OF ONE'S PROBLEM IF YOU DON'T ANYTHING ABOUT THE ANSWER.Regards,

Is it possible for NetBeans to find sourcecode in more than one folder?

I have a very simple question:
I have a project that I'm developing in NetBeans. I have source in two places:
ejb/src
and
war/src
That's a pretty common situation: one package / source tree for my beans, another for my web application.
Can NetBeans support a usage like that?
I found this page:

which has a section about "importing a project with multiple class folders" but what they describe, does not work.
One thing I could do is merge everything into one folder, and then have my ant script sort things out into jars, but that doesn't make as much sense as having two source trees.

Yes it does! Open the project properties using right mouse on project tree element -> Properties then select Sources -> Add Folder.

BlackBerry plug-in for netbeans

Perhaps not the right place to look into. I want to develop blackberry apps from the netbeans ide but can't get it to work. well I think you'd have much better chances to get an answer at Blackberry or Netbeans forums than here.
By the way, are Netbeans the... err mainstream IDE in Blackberry development? I ask because if it is not so, then you may consider using another IDE, a "mainstream" one, whatever it is. Myself I use this approach when learning new stuff and I never had to regret that.
After I learn some technology, it's rather easy to get it work with IDE of my choice, but only after that...

Problem in Installing JavaFX for NetBeans 6.0.1

Hi ,
I am using NetBeans6.0.1. The problem I am facing while installing/updating JavaFX plug-in in NetBeans6 is that the system is watched by network firewall.
NetBeans is unable to retrieve information about the updates as firewall doesn't allows it to do so.
I badly need JavaFX plugin installer(I hope it is something like javaFX.nbm file) so that I can update it offline by searching it through Downloaded tab in the plugin window.
Please don't give me this link ( https://openjfx.dev.java.net/javafx-nb60-plugin-install.html ) to update my NetBeans for JavaFX.
If there is any option to update NetBeans for JavaFX, do let me know.
Also, why have you given just one option for installing JavaFX Plug-in in NetBeans??
I am eagerly waiting for reply.
PS NetBeans6 doesn't highlights(active) Updates and Available Plug-in's in the plugin window.

Emulator fails to run for Netbeans

Using NetBeans 5.5 and NetBeans mobility 5.5 I completely fail to run anything under the emulator.
I have tried removing all previous NetBeans, wireless toolkits and JVM and reinstalling, to no avail.
Wireless toolkit 2.5 still works okay, but under NetBEans the emulator phone appears briefly with no midlets listed and then exits.
Has this anything to do with the emulator failing to find the built Jar files. Everything I am doing is based on defaults. I create the mobile application and allow the system to create the main class. The only think I changed was the destination folder for the project to be different from default.
Any clues as to how I might fix this.

This problem is almost certainly caused by aggressive firewall or anti-spyware rules.
I installed and ran this on a home PC, and was prompted to grant a permission of some kind before it would allow the program to connect to the emulator.
Unfortunately the message did not repeat. I will update when I figure this out.
In the mean time iff anyone knows exactly what the emulator may be doing to trigger a security check, I would like to know.

Flex plugins for NetBeans and JBuilder

There seems to be plugins only for Eclipse. How about
NetBeans and JBuilder. Eclipse seems to have some serious memory
leak problems.

well as far as I know JBuilder is based on eclipse platform
so theoritically flex plugin should work.,

First u have to open the NetBeans IDE then goto Menubar Select File --> select NewProject
step1) choose project in this step select web and select webapplication then clidk Next
step2)Name and Location give whatever name u want and the location
step3)Frameworks: There will be two options with checkboxes in that u have to select struts, click finish

Good tutorial for NetBeans

Could someone please post a good tutorial on how to use NetBeans, i normally just write everything in textpad, but i have recently found myself more interested in using swing components and NetBeans is supposed to make that easier to use and write for and yet i cant seem to figure out just how to use it. Any post is greatly apreciated .

The netbeans.org site has quite a few good tutorials though, as with everything Sun, you have to make sure that you re-read everything twice, cos there will be something little that they don't emphasise that stops things from working if you don't get it right.
