Ayuda Premiere 5.0 ó Premiere 6.0

Hola:

  • I have just got this error on my Windows 8.1 PC in Adobe Premiere Elements 13:"Premiere Elements has encountered an error" -- [c:\adobe\pre\main\mediacore\mediafoundation\api\inc\Keyframe/Keyframe.h-142]

I have just got this error on my Windows 8.1 PC in Adobe Premiere Elements 13:"Premiere Elements has encountered an error" --> [c:\adobe\pre\main\mediacore\mediafoundation\api\inc\Keyframe/Keyframe.h-142]. I have found different solution on how to fix it, but it's still hard to find where to change "," to ".". When I try to change my .prel file to a .xml it all shows symbols, letters and numbers, not only numbers like a have seen others. I have a LLOOONNNGGG movie to fix. Can anyone help?

    Hoerup
Thanks for the update. Sorry that the news was not better.
There are several cases of keyframe error 142 being reporting, some for version 12 and some for version 13.
In your case, we may be able to get some help from Adobe via its Adobe Chat since you have purchased, registered, latest version

  • CS4 Workflow - Premiere -- AE/Keylight -- Premiere

In an attempt to get better GreenScreen Keys I would like to start using AE/Keylight.
(I had been using Premiere's Chroma Key or Color Key)
I like the thought of using Dynamic Link but Keylight does not register when I round-trip back to Premiere.
Anyone know how the CS4 Workflow - Premiere -->AE/Keylight --> Premiere should go?

    - "I do the entire key and composite in AEFX and export as an intermediate."
    - "do the key and export the intermediate with an alpha channel"
    What intermediate do you use?
(I think I would lean towards QT Animation +/- Alpha)
    So, I would:
    1. edit together my GreenScreen clips in PP (sometimes there are a few takes/clips/angles)
    2. export these clips as a single QT Animation file
    3. import to AE and Keylight
    4. export a QT Animation +/- Alpha
    5. finish edit in PP
    - Reason I dont use DL is that if I get the key  and /or composite correct, why would I need to revisit it from the PPRO project (and bog down my timeline).
The only thing I hate about going to AE is that I NEVER get Real-Time playback so it always seems like my AE timeling Bogged Down. It always seems like it goes 1sec/1frame. At 30fps... this can take a while.
Whereas, at least in PP I can actually play/view my edit. Only thing with DL workflow in this instance is that PP does not see/recognize Keylight.
Currently, my Keys look good... but I want them to look GREEAAAT; and AE/Keylight really does the trick.

  • Transfer Plug ins from Premiere CS6 to Premiere cc

    Hi Everyone
Is it possible to transfer/manually install plug ins which I used with Premiere cs6 to premiere cc? For example Fx Factory and GBDeflicker?
    Cheers
    Paul

Copy them to the Premiere 7.0 Folder. (I did)
Most will work.  Some may require the original installer and that may or may not be written for CS7
Dont know about the ones you mentioned.

  • Premiere clip to Premiere 2014.2 problem

I have encountered a problem when trying to open a premiere clip xml in premiere pro (2014.2).
This happens with both new and old projects
I get an error "The project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements". It refers to the folder/file "/user/myname/Caches/TemporaryItems/projectname.prproj"
I have repaired permissions, and checked that permissions are read/write for all Adobe folders and cach folders
It has worked in previous version (version 8.1)
Anyone having an idea how to fix it?
    OS X version: 10.10.1 (14B25)

First a (stupid) question, how do I provide the xml file to you? It's not possible to attach files in the forum.
    Regarding workflow:
    - I create a very simple Premiere Clip project in my iPad with just one clip and no effects
    - Share it to Premiere Pro
    - It uploads to Creative Cloud (media & xml)
    - Start Premiere Pro on my mac
    - Create a new empty project
    - Import the xml from creative cloud
    - Get the error message described in the first post
I am using Swedish IOS 8.1.2 on the iPad, and Swedish OS X on the Mac

  • Problem opening a converted project from previous version of Premiere CC, in Premiere CC 2014.

Hello. This is the problem. When I try to open with premiere pro CC 2014 a converted and actualized CC 2014 version of a project created previously in a previous version of premiere, the software crash.
Said in other words if it doesn't clear:
    - I created a project in Premiere CC
    - I actualized the project to Premiere CC 2014
    - I worked in the project with the new Premiere CC 2014 for few days and suddenly, I cannot open the project and the software crash.
I hope you understand my problem. Sorry about my english. I'm not native english speaker.
Thanks for your help and support.

Rather than opening directly, try importing the project via the Media Browser Window.
Much more efficient as you'll have more options.

  • Project in Premiere CS5 to Premiere CS6 Conversion

Hello, I have some old projects I made using a trial version of adobe premiere CS5 some time ago. now I upgraded for the trial version of CS6 to edit those videos, but I can't convert the projects. They load but are all empty, 0:00:00 time adn no images. I was thiking about purchasing the CS6 version, but if i can't edit those videos there's no use. Does anybody knows what is happening?
    Kind Regards,
    Daisy.

I have no problen opening CS5 projects. The info box will want you to save a converted project. Make sure you have all the media available and you might check that CS5 opens the project correctly before saving that and opening the project file in open as CS6.( have both CS5 and CS6 installed in the applications) If all works fine then you can uninstall CS5. Good Luck

  • Premiere Pro verus Premiere Elements

I am going to be copying in and editing a large amount of old VHS tapes.  I mainly want to delete out blanks, merge clips together and especially try to improve brightness, contrast etc. like I do in Photoshop for stills.  I wanted to know if Premiere Pro would do this much better than Premiere Elements.  I am not worried about costs but more about results.  I have a whole year to edit them as it will be a Xmas present for next year. Thanks for any help or advice.
    Joe

    Hi Bill:
Thanks for the advice, especiualy opn the Canopus digital converter.  I had been treying to find a good quality video capture card and could not see to find anything. I tried using a Pinnacle system thru my USB port.  Worked okay but not sure about quality.  The ADSVC300 going thru Firewire seems a better solution.
I have a Quadro FX 1800 video card so shoul dhave the HP to do the editing.  Of course have to teach myself first.
Think I will also go with Premiere Pro CS5 so I can do whatever I need to the videos.
Now for a big drive to store them on as they are huge.
    Thanks again.

  • DVD Rendering and Burning: differences between Premiere Pro and Premiere Elements

I am landscape photogapher and wish to either create slide shows in Premerie or import them to Premiere  from H264 1080 quicktime files generated by Ligthroom 3.  I do not do frame by frame video editing.  My only goal in using Premiere is to be able to render and/or burn DVD's and eventually Bluetooh compatible DVD's for play back on commercial flat panel TV's, e.g., Samsung flat panel dvd's.
Are the DVD rendering and burning capablity of Pemiere CS5 Pro and Premiere 9 Elements equivalent , i.e, are that both as likely to produce DVD's that render with natural color on commercial flat panel TV's?
My prior experience is that my Lightroom generated 1080, H264 quicktime movies  have perfectly natural color on Mac LCD and other computer monitors but see very over saturated color on commecial flat panel tv's.
Discussions with Adobe tech support folks are contradictory on this matter.

The main differences between the authoring capabilities (the assembly of DVD/BD, navigation and Menus, plus burning) of Encore (the authoring program, that ships and installs with PrPro) and PrE 9 are:
1.) Encore is a full-featured authoring program, offering a lot more power and flexibility, but at the expense of having to do it "by hand," where PrE 9 is very limited in the navigation that can be employed, and it uses Menu Sets for that automation. Though PSD's, like the Menus in Encore, they have many special aspects, that must be considered, when doing any customization.
A.) In Encore, one can create almost all sorts of navigation in the DVD/BD, limited almost exclusively to the limits imposed by the DVD, or BD specs.
B.) PrE 9 will allow Autoplay, with no Menu, or will automatically create Scene Menus, per the Chapter Markers that you add - and that is ALL. There will      be no Into AV material. No Subtiltes. No supplemental Audio streams. Only linear navigation, or no navigation.
C.) Menus for Encore are much more easily customized, where there are some major conventions in those from PrE, that MUST be addressed.
2.) Encore can Burn an Image (ISO) - no Image in PrE, and can Burn a BD to Folder, which cannot be done in PrE - only for DVD.
3.) Encore offers the capability to adjust Layer Breaks for DL discs.
4.) Encore allows one to adjust the Burn speed, and in PrE, one is stuck with the "fastest" based on the speed of the media + the burner
5.) Encore allows output to a Flash delivery with pretty much full navigation.
6.) Encore allows for changes in the Subpicture Highlight Color Sets, and PrE will only do that, with some Menu Set editing.
7.) Encore offers a SlideShow feature, but I feel that it is rudimentary and limited, and assemble mine in PrPro, then go to Encore for authoring.
8.) Encore is a separate program, though interfaces with PrPro with ADL (Adobe Dynamic Link), and is NOT available as a stand-alone any more - only with      PrPro.
There are probably more differences, and some of the above might not make any difference to you. Things can probably be summed up as: Encore = great power and flexibility, but with things being done manually, and PrE lacks the power and flexibility, but is semi-automatic, so probably easier to use on simple Projects.
Good luck, and hope this helps you make the decision,
    Hunt
[Edit] Sorry that some of the formatting for the Outline did not translate well. Gotta' explore the Outline formatting in the editing screen more, 'cause it would probably have fixed things. Sorry about that.

  • Opening old Premiere Projects in Premiere Pro CS5

I have some old video projects which I've saved to disk with the idea that I could go back and edit them later.  I just tried to open one of these old projects in Premiere Pro CS5 and it doesn't recognize the old Premiere Pro project.  PP CS5 projects now end with *.prel or *.prproj.  My old projects (some done in Premiere 6, some in PP CS) ended with *.ppj.  I opened the *.ppj file properties and tried changing them from "Opens with Adobe Premiere Pro CS" to "Opens with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5", but it looks like the file suffix remains *.ppj and PP CS5 still doesn't recognize it.
Is there a way I can convert my old PP projects to PP CS5 so they can be opened/edited in my current software?
    Thanks.
    --Dave

    David,
Per my earlier post, if you change that from All Supported Media to All Files, can you Import?
[Edit] I see that All Files did work, and that you are up and editing! That is great news.
As mentioned, the only issue that I had was with a very few 3rd party Transitions, and PrPro was nice enough to tell me exactly where these were used, and what their names were. I just wrote down those TimeCodes, added Cross-Dissolves to replace whatever the previous editor had used, and was up and editing.
Now, I did have to go through the "Where is file ____?" process, as the previous editor had drawn Assest from ALL over an external HDD, with no folder structures, or anything useful - what a kludge! I organized all of the Assets (many thousands) into logical order, and once I had re-established the links, all went beautifully.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - the reason that I asked about platforms is that Pr was X-platofrm, but then with PrPro, through version 2.0, it was PC-only. It was not until CS3, that it went back X-platform. This created a little problem for Mac users, with newer PrPro versions, but older PC Projects. We get about 1 of these issues per year, and the answer is for the Mac user to befriend a PC-person, with the right version of PrPro, do that Import step, then Save_As, and hand off the now, X-platform version of the PRPROJ. Hey, it fosters "hands across the aisle," and we've found several PC-users, with the right versions around here, who have done that conversion, out of the kindness of their hearts. That had zero to do with your Project, but wanted you to know why I asked.

  • Premiere ElementsTrial to Premiere Pro cc

Hi I have the trial for premiere Elements 13, I was wondering if I buy Premiere Pro cc if I can transfer my work to that. Thank you

    Hi Gautam,
Thanks for your very quick response.
The Pro CC XML fails to import in to CS5.5.
Error message reads: 'The importer reported a generic error'.
I'm new to Premiere.. 5.5 is running on a PC and Pro CC is on my Macbook, I'd think it would be fine regarding the XML, but is that an issue with versions of Premiere?
    Thanks

  • Premiere Elements to Premiere Pro on Mac

If I edit using mac based premiere elements will I be able to transfer projects to premiere pro?

    Welcome to the forum.
At one time, one COULD Open a PREL (the PrE Project file) in PrPro, with some considerations:
The PrE Project did NOT contain any Themes/Instant Movies, as PrPro did not have those.
The PrE Project did NOT contain any 3rd party Transitions, or Effects, that are not available in PrPro.
The versions of PrE and PrPro are somewhat contemporary, such as PrE 4 and PrPro 2.0.
Now, if the PrPro version is PrPro CC (Creative Cloud), it appears that it cannot Open, or Import PrE PREL files, but no Adobe engineer has confirmed that - the info comes from users, who all say, "No go."
Also, a Mac PREL cannot be Opened by PrE on a PC, so there could well be issues there. Your chances of success might be better, if both programs are Mac versions, and the versions are contemporary, say PrE 10 and PrPro CS 6, both on a Mac.
Good luck, and please let us know how well your migration works.

  • Can I install both Premiere Elements and Premiere Pro on my computer?

I use elements but I want to learn premiere pro so I just installed it but in the process elements was deleted.  I still need elements to finish projects I've started in elements.  Is there a way to have both programs on my computer and use both elements when I want and premiere pro when I want?
Is it possible to open an elements file using premiere pro CS6?  I tried but it didn't work.
    Thank you.

    ATR,
    I agree completely.
Without every version, over the last 10 years, of each program, it's almost impossible to tell a poster, "Yeah, that will work... "
It's the same with Premiere (not Elements, but the program before the "Pro" designation) and Premiere Pro. I inherited a big Project, originally started in Premiere 6.5 on a Mac. I had PrPro CS 2 on a PC, and all of the Project files Opened very well. IIRC, there were a half-dozen Transitions, that I did not have, but PrPro gave me the name of the Transition, plus the TimeCode of where it was used. All I had to do was change the missing one to Cross-Dissolve (do not know why the original editor deviated from that?), and all was good. However, when Adobe went with the Pro version, it was ONLY ported for the PC - no Mac support at all. Then, with PrPro CS 3, X-platform support WAS added. If a Mac user had an earlier Premiere, or Premiere Pro Project, before CS 3, they had to find a PrPro PC-user, with PrPro CS 3, who would Open that earlier file, then Save_As, so that they could Open it on their Macs, with later versions. Real "hands across the aisle" thing. We PC guys helped many Mac users to get them up and editing, but it was tough to explain all the ins-and-outs to them. Lot of confusion in those days. We do not see it that often now, as Premiere, up through version 6.5 are fading into history.
Also, to add to that confusion, Adobe shook things up, with the release of Premiere 7.0, also officially called Premiere Pro 7.0, but also Premiere Pro 1.0, at the same time. Most countries got only PrPro 1.0, but not all. Even some Adobe Staff folk do not realize that there were three, coincidental names for basically the same program. And, as that was the point of transition to PC-only, puzzle over what version a user really has. I have had a few state that there was NO Premiere Pro 7.0, and that it was ONLY Premiere 7.0, or Premiere Pro 1.0. I have seen the boxes that show that some folk DID get a program officially named Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0. Just a bit of arcane history.

  • Link Prelude and Premiere? (Update Premiere Projects)

    Hello,
So, I really enjoy commenting and marking in Prelude as the user interface and the whole handling is really simple and you can just concentrate on reviewing your footage.
After I export subclips into Premiere, is there a simple way to go back to Prelude, make new subclips, comments etc. and update these in Premiere?
Or do I have to "sent them to Premiere" again?
Would be a cool feature if I could go back to Prelude any time, update comments and have them in Premiere automatically!
    YaNuo

    Comments yes, subclips no.
Comments are saved in XMP and Premiere Pro and Prelude both read from and write to the same place for each asset, so if you update a comment marker in Premiere Pro you'll see that update in Prelude and if you update a comment marker in Prelude you'll see that change in Premiere Pro.
Not so with Subclips, however, since at the time you Send to Premiere Pro the subclip marker that Prelude writes as a kind of marker in XMP is converted to a Premiere Pro subclip that lives in the Premiere Pro .proproj project file. It is a great idea to have subclips maintain a more "live" relationship like comment markers do, I encourage you to file a Feature Request. http://adobe.com/go/wish

  • Premiere Encore and Premiere Clip Notes Problem

I am having a problem that appears when exporting from Premiere (CS4) to Encore or to Clip Notes.
The opening of my projects is the FBI warning still; this transitions to an imported 'produced by' animation; this then transitions to a 'directed by' still which then a dip to black for moment; then street sounds start -- all so far so good. Very quickly after the street sounds start in black, the actual video footage commences and this is where the problem is.
What one sees is a small image off to the lower right of the screen - the image that should be in full screen is re-positioned off screen to the right and is also lower. The only image one is seeing is the upper left quadrant of the image one should be seeing, the rest of the image, being off-screen, is not seen. This occurs for 16 frames then it snaps to the correct position.
    Key points:
This is not occurring in Premiere. It occurs ONLY after exporting to Encore through the ADL (watching it in Preview), AND it occurs when it is exported to Clip Notes.
It does NOT occur if the file is exported to Encoder then checked by burning it to DVD via a third-party burn program.
There are no keyframes in the clip in question. And there are no keyframes in the clips prior.
We have checked the properties of the clip in question, the clip prior, and the clip after, and they are all identical in terms of position, etc.
    Anyone got a clue?
