Ayuda Tablet A5500-F

Buenos dias. He comprado hace 10 dias una tablet Lenovo A5500-F y estoy experimentado problemas con la conexion wifi al momento de reproducir videos en las apps youtube, netflix y en los navegadores pre instalados. Lo primero que hice al encenderla por primera vez, fue aplicar la actualizacion OTA ofrecida por Lenovo.
Con el resto de mis dispositivos no tengo inconvenientes...
Me podran ayudar? Sera que debo llevarla al servicio tecnico o pedir que me la cambien?

Siendo asi podria ser incompatibilidad con el Modem o Router, te sugiero llamar a tu prooveedor de servicios de internet y solicitar un cambio de Modem por otro modelo o marca distinto al que tienes ya que manifiesta que el la red de tu trabajo funciona correctamente.

Rubbish Bin Icon on Android 4.4.2 tablet A5500 disappeared

Yesterday my tablet A5500 suggested I should do a system update (I suppose this is an Android update, but I'm not sure). After this update I've lost my bin, so I can no longer remove anything.
Could anyone tell me how I can get my bin back or how I can restore it or how I can switch back to the last version of Android, that I only downloaded one month ago?

Hello Monarch, thanx for your quick reply! Before I tried your suggestion of resetting the system, someone I know suggested that the Android people may have used an iPod/iPhone trick, and that is indeed what happened: pressing your screen now opens extra crosses over your icons. You can delete your apps by clicking these crosses. This makes me wonder though: perhaps I should have bought an iPad after all...

SD Karte im A5500-f werden nicht erkannt

Hallo! Ich habe zwar im Forum ein wenig gestöbert aber keine Lösung gefunden, wobei ich wahrscheinlich nicht die richtigen stichwörter eingegeben habe. Falls es schon behandelt wurde bitte ich um den Link und ich entschuldige mich für die wiederholte Frage: Mein Tablet A5500-f erkennt keine Sd Micro Karte. Ich hatte zuerst eine No Name Karte die nicht erkannt wurde.Im Saturn wurde mir gesagt, dass nicht alle erkannt werden, dass Scan Disk am besten ist. Ich habe mir eine 16GB Karte gekauft, die aber auch nicht erkannt wurde. In Einstllungen erscheint nur SD bereitstellen, man kann zwar draufklicken aber es passiert nichts. Ich frage mich ob es ein problem des Tablet ist oder ich einfachnoch nicht die geeignete Micro SD Karte gekauft habe. Komischerweise wird im "Speicher" nichts erkannt (jetzt kann man auch nicht mehr "SD karte bereitstellen" anklicken) aber im Apps kann man auf SD Karte gehen. Unten wird 64 KB belegt und 15 GB frei angezeigt. Hin un wieder schließt sich die EInstellungsapp von alleine. Sie kann wohl nichts mit meinen Wünschen anfangen. Hat jemand Tipps? Eine 2. eher unwichtige Frage. Wenn der Akku meines Tablets leer ist geht oft Zeit und Datum auf 0:00/1.1.2010 zurück. Im Saturn sagte man mir das sei normal. Wenn es leer ist liegt es nicht Wochenlang da. Nach 2-3 Tagen lade ich es, Ist das wirklich normal? Danke PP

direkt einmal wegen dem Verlust von Datum + Uhrzeit. Das kann schonmal passieren, vor allem wenn der Akku so richtig leer wird. Die meisten Android-Geräte (leider nicht alle ) haben bei den Zeiteinstellungen auch noch die Option, die Zeit vom Onlineserver zu synchronisieren. Dann merkt man diesen Verlust so gut wie garnicht. Also entweder das Häkchen setzen, sofern vorhanden, oder den Akku nicht ganz leer werden lassen.
Der Kartenleser im A5500 verträgt bis zu 32GB microSD(HC)-Karten. Dieser SD-Speicher muss in den Android-Einstellungen bei "Speicher" auch mit separat angezeigt werden oder in Dateimanager-Apps als "Externer Speicher" bezeichnet werden. Andernfalls ist die Karte nicht richtig erkannt worden. Versuche doch mal was passiert, wenn du die Karte vorher an einem PC / Notebook (mit SD-Adapter) auf FAT32 formatiertst. Es kann auch sein, dass nicht jede allerschnellste Karte (Class 10 Ultra etc.), richtig erkannt wird.

Fastboot A5500-F Android Tablet from linux

I am trying to use fastboot to upload a new image i built to my Lenovo tablet. I have tried the following commands:
fastboot devices (SUCCESS. Shows my device)
fastboot oem unlock (FAILS. Just shows me 3 dots and hangs)
Is there something I'm missing or a spcial tool for linux I need?

I don't think fastboot does much on Mediatek devices. You need the SP Flash Tool.

Idea Tab A8-50 (A5500)- PAID apps won't install

I purchased an A5500 (A8-50) tablet in May in Austria/Europe. I noticed an issue concerning the use of PAID apps purchased from Google Play Store. I do not experience these problems with any other devices or Android-versions. I received a replacement but still the same issues. I called Lenovo Support, but it could not help at all.
4.2.2:
Out of the box the A5-80 runs Android 4.2.2. You may install and use free Apps from Google Play Store with no problems. Paid apps are downloaded and installed. You may run the app afterwards, however, once you turn off the device (shut down) your paid apps get lost. After boot-up free apps work as usual. PAID apps won’t start at all. Android displays “Anwendung ist nicht installiert” (“Application not installed”). There is no problem in re-downloading and re-installing the paid apps from Google Play again. One may also use these apps – until reboot. This has to be a bug, not a feature – I am not keen on having to install every paid app again after any reboot. Not shutting down the tablet is not option for me.
4.4.2:
OTA Upgrades form Lenovo do solve the problem either. The first to upgrades (after receiving the device) are 4.2.2-updates. The third one upgrades to Android 4.4.2. After such update PAID apps won’t install at all. There is no issue with free apps. The latest update (July 9, 2014; “still” 4.4.2) does not bring any change. PAID apps are downloaded from Google Play Store but not installed. Rather Android displays an error message "Installation auf dem USB-Speicher bzw. der SD-Karte fehlgeschlagen" (Couldn't install on USB storage or SD card). In my opinion this can only refer to internal memory as no external SD-Card is installed and free apss are installed as usual.
Does anyone else experience these problems?
Is there a resolution to this?

It is not a swype bug (Swype is also one of the paid apps I use). It relates to any paid app. Free apps (as you experienced with the Swype free) have no problems.

Hola a todos, después de una larga ausencia por este foro, necesito de nuevo la ayuda de ustedes. Desde hace mucho tiempo vengo trabajando con una tableta Genius y a pesar de todo trabaja bien, no tan bien como la Wacom de mi hermano, el caso es que acabo de instalar la CS4, y probando la tableta en Illustrator funciona de maravilla. Cuando trabajo en Photoshop, no me funciona, sólo me hace líneas rectas y no responde a la presión del lápiz, no se que hacer, ya eliminé las preferencias de Photoshop, reinstalé la tableta, sigue sin funcionar.

El único detalle que no has facilitado es el modelo de la tableta Genius.
Has probado en Illustrator a ver si es sensible a la presión con los pinceles?
En estos casos lo mejor es instalar un driver o controlador del dispositivo que esté actualizado y que funcione, busca en la web del fabricante debería ofrecer esa información.
Por otro lado estás seguro que esa tableta es sensible a la presión?
P. D. Salvo que me la regalasen, nunca me arriesgaría a usar una tableta que no sea una Wacom (bueno, quizás el año que viene haya que ver lo que ofrece Apple).

I’d like to ask you to try to reset the settings of the tablet to get the tablet to the Factory Default Settings,
Could you please take a backup from you important Data and Files and Application from the internal memory?
In order to reset you will open the settings Backup & Reset and then Factory Data Reset and then “Reset Tablet” and then it will start Resetting and it will takeabotu 15 min and then will start activating the software by selecting Language and then please try to use the Wifi.

Lenovo A7 (A3500) / A8 (A5500) touch screen digitizer issues

Having bought an A8-50F (A5500) recently I was immediately confronted with what -as found at a later stage- appears to be a widespread issue on Lenovo's A3500 / A5500 tablets. The issue is quite easy to replicate and is clearly evident when scrolling through settings or a web browser page, or in reading any documet / pdf with the finger in direct and constant touch to the screen. It results in a scrolling flow that is jumpy and non-continuous as shown in the video below.

What strikes me most is that I couldn't find any mention of the issue anywhere on the internet, seeing that it has obvious knock-on effects even on sketching a simple vertical line as shown above. So this happens only on the vertical axis, on almost all of the Lenovo A3500/A5500 devices I could get my hands on, even on the display / demo units found on major retail stores in the vicinity of where I live (South Europe). And I say almost all of the devices, since apparently A10s (A7500s) 10'' models DON'T exhibit said behavior, which is ALSO the case with most other branded tablets I managed to test, either these being LG, or Asus etc...
So my question would be if this is a known-issue for these devices, or something's gone horribly wrong with the digitizer panel of specific batches of these and need to be replaced by the manufacturer...In either case if you happen to be the owner of one such tablet, please take some time to perform these tests and report back.

Gracias por la sugerencia. Había hecho instalado algunas actualizaciones al Windows 8.1. Tuve que desinstalar revertiendo a un punto de restauración. Ahora quedo mucho mejor sin ese problema que se presentaba con más frecuencia.
Solo se está quedando en la pantalla negra cuando por error, presiono el botón de Apagado, se apaga la PC y al reiniciar se queda en pantalla negra por mucho rato...cansado de esperar vuelvo a bootear y allí ya se inicia sin problemas.

Inserte una micro sd a mi tablet A3300 y ahora no enciende

puse mi tarjeta SD en mi tablet apagada y la encendi todo bien hasta ahi, pero me decia que habia un error por lo cual decidí apagarla y desde ahi no ha encendido mas intente resetearla pero no funciona y conectandola al PC tampoco, tampoco es falta de carga se apago con un 72% de carga.....
si alguien pudiese ayuudarme se los agradeceria......

Has verificado que la tecla de encendido no este pegada y por tal motivo ingrese al recovery cuando la enciendes?, de no ser asi te sugiero llamar al soporte tecnico y si estas en garantia hacerla valida.

IdeaTab A8-50 3g (a5500-h) gpu problems

I recently bought an Ideatab A8-50 8 inch tablet. I cannot get it to connect to the PC. I'm running Windows XP. I cannot find any drivers for this tablet. The tablet shows up in device manager as Lenovo A5500, but it needs drivers.
Any help on this forum would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There might be a notification on your tablet when you connect, asking whether to use MTP mode or Camera mode... make sure it's on MTP mode. Also, I'm not sure, but you might need to reboot your PC after installing the software I linked to above before MTP will work.
