Hi ZioFat,
We had the same problem with crystal reports, JPG and HP LaserJet 4730.
We discussed it with HP and they let me know, that it's a known issue.
The HP stuff said, that I had to use the "universal Printer (PS)".
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=468688&prodNameId=468689&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ja-36004-15
After I installed this printer, everything works.
Best regards,

  • How can I use applet to get the desktop image of client

    hi,I have a question to ask u.
    How can I use applet to get the desktop image of client? Now I develop a web application and want user in the client to get his current image of the screen.And then save as a picture of jpeg format ,then upload it to the server?
    I have done an application to get the screen image and do upload file to server in a servlet with the http protocal.

    Since the desktop image is on the client's local hard drive, you'll need to look at trusted applets first.

  • Stream-in images from client to server,without running the transmit code

    Hello all,
    Im using JMF for my current project.Right now,I am trying to only recieve images from the client without the client transmitting it.That is I dont want the transmit code to run on the client.
    I should just be able to stream in the images from client to server, without running the transmit code on client.
    Can this be done?
    Thanks in advance

    <Side A>
    You'd just need to write an application that doesn't have a GUI (so, a console-based application) that listens on some pre-determined port for a message to start broadcasting. Maybe you'd send it the IP/PORT number to start broadcasting on. Once it receives that message, it'd start broadcasting the web cam to the IP/PORT number until it received a message to stop. Once it stops, it'll just go back to waiting for the next "start" signal.
    <Side B>
    On the other side, you'd write an application that sends the start messages, receives/displays the videos, and then sends the stop signal. This will have a GUI, and be your "control program" so to speak.
    Then, once of have both of those programs working...if you're using Linux, you're done. If you're using Windows, you'd need to modify the <Side A> program so that it can run as a Windows service.
    There are a lot of ways to do this, you can google it or look at the following link:

    hi

    Then create a servlet which uses Java 2D API to rezise the image and writes it to the outputstream of the response. Call that servlet in the <img> tag along with an unique request parameter identifying the image.

    So, i want read image without using webutil package how to do it.
    If i want read image from client system please tell me how to do it.
    I am getting with webutil package but there is any other chance to get the image.

    Please keep in mind that Forms 10g is a release not a version.  Also, since you are running on Windows 7 64 bit - you should be using Forms 10g Release 2 (version 10.1.2.0.2) and a patchset to upgrade this to version 10.1.2.3.0.
    Now, to answer your question - I happen to agree with MarkReichman, WebUtil would be my preferred method, but since you don't want to use WebUtil then the only other way would be to use a 3rd party Java Bean.  I prefer WebUtil because it is supported by Oracle and I can contact them with any issues.

  • Read Image from client

    I am trying to import the picture from the client, using WEBUTIL (v 1.0.2)
    Procedure looks like:
    DECLARE
    FILE_NAME VARCHAR2(200);
    File_Filter varchar2(30):='JPEG Files (*.jpg)|*.jpg|';
    BEGIN
    FILE_NAME:=CLIENT_GET_FILE_NAME(NULL,NULL,File_Filter,NULL,OPEN_FILE,TRUE);
    CLIENT_IMAGE.READ_IMAGE_FILE(FILE_NAME, 'JFIF',
    '<table>.<BLOB column>');
    END;
    "CLIENT_GET_FILE_NAME" works fine, but when it comes to "CLIENT_IMAGE.READ_IMAGE_FILE" I get message
    Checking through the debugger I found that the error is generated in the
    WEBUTIL.WEBUTIL_CORE.CHECKJAVA
    at the line
    classpath := JAVA_SYSTEM.getProperty('java.class.path');
    I checked, and all CLASSPATH variables in registry contain the path to webutil.jar
    I also tried with: "webutil_file_transfer.Client_To_DB_with_progress"
    And it works fine to me, file is transferred to the BLOB field but then I can not display the image in the form. (Is there any advice on how to do this, any example code)
    I have been using iDS9.
    Is there anyone who could help. Thanks in advance
    Sead

    What is really odd to me is the fact that the value in "classpath" after the command
    classpath := JAVA_SYSTEM.getProperty('java.class.path');
    does not correspond to any variable in the registry.
    I searched the registry and the value of the string does not exist in any variable in the registry. I do not know how did "JAVA_SYSTEM.getProperty('java.class.path')" produce the classpath string.

    It's been a while, but I know you can write a series of images to a file, then later read back that series of images. Why don't you work on doing this with file i/o first (easier to debug, and you can examine the file with standard image viewers), before sprinkling sockets on it?

  • How to load images from client side when the swf is hosted on a server without uplaoding it to server?

    I'm trying to build a online image resize tool.
    problem i face are:
    1. I build a button that allow user to browse the file. Once
    file is selected, it doesnt show full path.
    2. lets say if it shows fullpath, but i try to load it into a
    movieclip, and it doesnt work because the swf file is located at
    the server and not the client's place.
    3. as far as i know, flash can only load images which is
    located in the same server or internet.
    4. if i use php, asp, cgi.. it can only allow me to 1st
    upload the image then resize later, but this is not wat i want.
    5. I need to 1st resize then upload later, because if i have
    100 and more photos taken from digicam, it's going to be very slow
    and heavy.
    What i have tested:
    1. upload "image3.jpg" into the same directory as the
    "viewer.swf", and it works.
    2. do not upload the swf to the server, but run locally from
    the user's computer and open "image3.jpg" and it works.
    3. upload the swf to the server and open "image3.jpg" from
    the user's computer and IT DOESN"T WORK!

  • Can I image Lion clients from Snow Leopard server using SIU?

    I have a new iMac Lion client I need to image to a number of machines, using Snow Leopard Server, but System Image Utility will not recognize the Lion client as a valid source volume?  Has anyone else experienced this yet?

    Images must always be created on the same OS.
    You'll need to download the Lion Server Admin Tools onto one of the clients and make it your "imaging system".

  • How to save BitmapData Image at Client (local) computer

    Hi,
    I at the final stage of an application developed in Flash 8.
    This application enables user to merge two images (JPG bitmap).
    With help of this forum i have bee able to do everything on
    this project viz. moving, resizing, rotation, and the bigger part -
    merging.
    Now when the merged bitmap image is on the screen i want
    this image to be redirected on my server in a specific folder.
    I have gone through the file upload and download topics and
    understand that this is not a harder task but harder task for me is
    to find the name of the image which has been merged by the user. If
    i know the name of that image, then only i am able to design this
    important part of the application which will allow user to send
    this modified image to my server.
    Please provide help.

    yes kglad, i do agree with you. But have to use fileReference
    library which will definitely require file name. The option with me
    is to allow user to download/ upload the whole SWF file. To be more
    precise, i am pasting some code of file reference here:
    var fileRef:FileReference = new FileReference();
    fileRef.addListener(listener);
    var url:String = "
    http://www.macromedia.com/platform/whitepapers/platform_overview.pdf";
    fileRef.download(url, "FlashPlatform.pdf");
    now what should be the value of "platform_overview.pdf" in my
    case?
    i guess i am able to explain you correctly

  • Thumbnail images in Forms6 client/server

    Hello,
    Some help would be greatly appreciated on this matter. I would like to be able to display a thumbnail image of a picture on the web in an oracle, NON-WEB enabled form.
    For example, when I open a form dealing with product details, I would like a piece of magic to retrieve a thumbnail image of the product from somewhere on the web, and display it on the form. Please note, in my situation it is not viable to store a scaled down version of the image int he database. The image must be located somewhere on the web.
    Some research into this has pointed me to OLE, but I can't seem to find anythng relating OLE to images in forms.
    Any ideas?

    I would like to thank you as it works beutifully, however there is one more question - Is there a way to get to image to scale or 'fit' to the size of the activeX control on the form
