B&W Zepplin suddenly dislikes iPhone 3G?

Morning all (or afternoon or night wherever you all are),
I've got an 8 month old B&W Zepplin which has worked flawlessly since I got it. However yesterday, for no reason, when I docked it in the Zepplin, the LED on the dock flashes rapidly red, apparently this signifies a system fault, and it wont recognise the iPhone 3G
I've tried undocking and redocking, updating iPhone firmware, Zepplin firmware, unplugging A/C connector.
Anyone have any suggestions other than get it repaired? All other iPods work absolutely fine, so its something unique to iPhone 3G's.

i just looked at their website, and they do not specifically say it is connectable to an iPhone, unless i missed it. it will work on an iTouch, but not an iPhone. (from what i've seen, they are different devices, hence the difference...)

What exactly are you seeing on the phone's screen ? If the iTunes icon and cable then the phone is in recovery mode, in which case it's too late to take a new backup or to copy any content off the phone - you will have to connect the phone to your computer's iTunes and reset it back to factory defaults, after which you can restore to the last backup that you took or just resync your content to it

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Sorted it out. Hold down the power and home buttons at the same time for 15-20 seconds. You should see the Apple logo and it should re-boot.

It was a very bad idea to post your email address where millions of people will see it. Expect your spam to increase exponentially, as well as the phishing attempts. i have tried to restore via itunes as i would have usually, half way through i get an error code 3194 pop up.....and yes i do back up.

Close out of the camera app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check your camera roll again.

All of a sudden my IPhone will not play my music. I upgraded to ios5 awhile back and everything was fine in fact it was fine over a week ago now when I go to play it only shows the album art and the songs do not play. Also when the songs it wants to play (it's like it has a mind of it's own) play the album art and songs do not match up. The majority of the songs are purchased from ITunes if that helps. I tried unsyching my music then resyncing as suggested in another post and I still have this problem. I accidently reset all settings and I am wondering if this has anything to do with it, everything was fine until I did that. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
