B1 9 PL6 Inventory Counting Add\Update

Hi All,
I am looking for a solution to update existing Quantities on the Inventory Count document.
But I cannot seem to find the Object (1470000065) for the tables OINC and INC1 in B1IF.
Please assist...

Hi Brendan,
Invoventory counting feature is offered by InventoryCountingService.
Have you tried to regenerate metadata to see if then the service is available?
you can regenerate metadata from Maintenance -> Cfg Metadata, then you select your company database having the right version (for InventoryCountingService needs to be higher than B1 9.0 PL06) and press Generate Now.
I have checked with B1 9.0 PL12 and cannot find the service, I'm checking internally and I'll let you know as soon as I have some details.

Check in the BAPI tocde- Under MM-> Inventory Management to find the Fm or
Pls try to use this FM for Physical Inventory -
BAPI_MATPHYSINV_COUNT
Pls refer to this BOR object BUS2028 for more FM
These relaetd BAPIs are stored under a BOR. Check the table TOJTB for the BOR and then in that BOR we can find the related BAPIs.

Upload inventory count issue

house my issue is
                              1. after creating an inventory document, adding materials to this doc is streeful i have to add them 1 after the other is they no other way of selecting all the materials
                               2. i know for each material a document is created so if i have 2000 materials 2000 documents will be created and during the entering of inventory count does it mean i will enter inventory count for 2000 materials? please thats very stressful is there a short cut to this to make my work easy i mean thats the whole essence of sap erp

There are two methods of creating a physical inventory document, as follows:
Creating Single Documents
In this case, you explicitly specify the materials to be counted. This method is recommended if you want to take inventory of only a few materials.
Creating Sessions
In this case, you enter the criteria that should determine which materials are to be inventoried in which plants and storage locations. The system then creates a physical inventory document for each plant and storage location with the materials that fulfill the criteria. This method is recommended if you want to take inventory of a lot of materials
Creating Single Documents
1. Choose Phys. inventory doc. -> Create. The initial screen appears.
2. Enter the data required. Choose Edit -> New items to display the item screen.
3. Enter the materials that are to be inventoried.
4. To post the document, choose Phys. inventory doc. -> Post. The system confirms the posting and displays the number of the physical inventory document.
Creating Sessions
1. Choose Sessions ->Create phys.inv.docs ->
Without special stock for physical inventory of companyu2019s own stock
-> Own special stock for physical inventory of own special stocks
-> Externally owned special stock for physical inventory of external special stock
The initial screen appears.
2. Enter the data required.
3. Choose Program->Execute from the menu. The system creates a session. A list appears with all of the items that are to be inventoried according to your selection. The system issues a message with the name of the session created.
After creating the document for all the items, use MI04 for entring the count and MI07 to post the difference.

Inventory count shows zero.

When I check the "License 15A - General license reconciliation report". Inventory count shows zero for some softwares. Currently I have imported few non-Microsoft and Microsoft license information. inventory count column shows zero. Is there
some other configuration I need to modify so this gets updated?
I have verified csv file of licenses many times, its correct only.
Product is SCCM 2012 SP1.

Is it only a few or all that shows up blank? if it is a few, then all components are working and you perhaps should double-check the .csv file again and verify the application information in your .csv file. Otherwise make sure that Assett Intelligence is
and hardware inventory is working in the environment.

I recently updated my iPhone 4s to ios6, and lost 1200 odd contacts. I have a backup from about 4-5 months ago avaiable. Can I add/update contacts from the back up rather than restore which i assume will literally delete any new contacts added...?

I recently updated my iPhone 4s to ios6, and lost 1200 odd contacts. I recently sold my macbook air and also my mac book pro, so have no recent backups avaiable. I have a backup from about 4-5 months ago available on an external hdd as a time machine backup. Can I add/update contacts from the back up rather than restore? The reason i wish to do this is because in the update i didnt lose any messages, so all of the people i have met and networked with since that last update those many months ago, i have in my messages listings. They are all unidentified numbers at present but over time i will be able to work through the messages and based on the conversation recall who each was with. Also, yesterday, some two weeks after the update had left my contacts list entirely empty... a vast majority just reappeard, though all of them are without any phone numbers, all just emails or facebook contacts. This is the work of facebook not mac/ios6 isnt it...? Any help here would be greatly apprecaited. I am about 2 days from flying to canada and having those contacts would make life a lot easier.

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

HOW CAN I ADD/UPDATE/INSERT IN A USER TABLE WITH MATRIX

I have one User table (Defined as No Object) and what i need to do is a form with a matrix to Add/Update/Delete data in my user table.
I already create the form and the matrix that already give me the user table data. But now i have several problems to solve.
First I try to add a new row but this new row get the data of the last row in the matrix. What i needed is a blank row to add new data in the user table.
Second, when i change data in matrix and do update in the form, sap show me the message that the operation is successfully done but the data in the user table in not updated.
I am trying to do one forma like whe can find in Setup-> General -> Freight.
Can anyone help me?

Hi,
If ur dealing with a simple form like that U can as well use the direct table form, and just provide a FMS to auto matically fill the code and name. U can directly use the form by.. Tools-->UserDefined Windows
Or
Comming to ur problem.... when ur adding a new row clear the data sources so that u'll get a blank row.
And for update the best thing to do is delete all the records in the table and again insert all the records directly from the matrix.

Inventory count w/o reference doc "MI09" with IDoc WVINVE02

Dear forum,
I am trying to create an inventory count without reference to a document and I thought I would use IDOc WVINVE02 with message code WVINVE. We don't have an SAP inventory document, but would like to use just an external reference.
When running transaction MI09 in the GUI it's quite easy to create an inventory count using:
Plant
Storage location
Special stock
Count date
Material
Quantity
Unit of measure
That's all we want to have.
I have tried to post an IDoc WVINVE02 inbound using FM IDOC_INPUT_STORE_INVENTORY with the corresponding data, but without success. The IDOc interface only states "IDoc not fully processed".
I need some help with how to input data and also need to understand if it is possible to use this IDoc for inventory count WITHOUT a reference document. The documentation available is not clear enough on this. Has anyone experienced a similar challenge?

Inventory count for subcontracing material

I want to take the inventory count for the material with subcontracor on 31st march 2008 (previous period).
I have tried to know the stock with subcontractor using T-code ME2o, MB5B, MBLB but I'm not getting desired results(i.e stock values on 31st march).
Is there any other/alternate way.
Please suggest.

Inventory count is used for counting internal material which means within plant and storage location.
To see stock provided to vendor use tcode ME2O.

While taking up physical inventory you have the option of doing it for different stock types being maintained .Like Quality stock,unrestricted stock ,blocked stock.If you are doing this activity in sessions in MI31 ,you need to check against the stock types which are to be counted.This will include the stock of the items as selected and leave aside the stock types not selected.In MI01 also you can select these stock types which are donated by 1,2,3 & 4 stock type.After creating the document the stock counted is to be entered in MI04 .Than get the difference list in MI20.The difference will be posted in MI07 which will complete the activity and stock will be adjusted after posting tyhe difference.

Inventory Count (1 material under 1 loc have multiple tags)

Hi,
SAP standard inventory count is 1 material 1 location can only have 1 physical document. But our scenario is based on the tag number (which means there will be different tag number for the same code), and our tag number does not have any linkage to the SAP standard inventory count program. This is because even in the same location, our material will be at different places, and we might use more than 1 tag for the same material.
For example our scenario (1 loc 1 material multiple tags):
Tag No      Material Code
CA00001     CPS756
CA00002     CPS756
CA00003     CPS518
CA00004     CPS518
CA00005   CPS518
CA00006   CPS632
Whereas the SAP standrd program is (1 loc 1 material 1 line item):
100000182     1     CPS756
100000182     2     CPS518
100000182     3     CPR632
This will help a lot to ease the entering as the user just need to enter the count according to the tag number, and also reduce any typo error. And if we enter according to SAP method, we will have to sum up the total of all the same code, then only enter the count qty.

There are several possibilities you can think about,
1. If you are considering your tags as a batch number then you can put the material number and batch number while creating Physical Inventory.
2. If materials are in different places then you can consider these different places as a different storage location.
3. You can manage your stock with Warehouse mangement functionality (This will be the best option, but will be required to activate warehouse management and lots of data conversion activities).

'Null' being added to ArrayCollection during add/update by Dataservice

We have a data service destination setup like this:

We implement a custom assembler by extending the AbstractAssembler.
     The fill and refreshFill methods are implemented.
Updates are pushed to the client using a DataServiceTransaction:
     DataServiceTransaction transaction = DataServiceTransaction.getCurrentDataServiceTransaction();
     transaction.createItem(DESTINATION, trade);
     transaction.commit();
After we create items and push them from the server, the refresh method on the Assmbler gets called. We return 'APPEND_TO_FILL'.
The item shows up in the client side managed ArrayCollection. This ArrayCollection is bound to a datagrid.
Problem description:
The above works fine when we run the server and the client locally on the same machine. When the application is hosted on a another part of the network - we see that for some of the updates - a null gets added to the ArrayCollection, instead of the object pushed from the server. We found this by attaching a CollectionChange event listener to the managed ArrayCollection. This causes blank rows to show up in the Blotter. In some cases we have also seen duplicate rows.
We see that the object is delivered to the client but not applied to the ArrayCollection properly. I attached a screen shot of the client side stack where we loose the update.
Calling the refresh() method on the ArrayCollection after the update, fixes the situation. The nulls disappear and the ArrayCollection now has the right data !
Things tried so far:
Throttling the DataService update rate - down to 1 update/sec
Enabling reliable delivery on the Dataservice destination
Handling conflicts - none detected. Client never updated data.
Setting DataService.resetCollectionOnFill property to true
Any pointers would be very helpful

We traced this down to the fact that we have multiple threads reading off a JMS queue and pushing the add/update to the client via LCDS.
Each thread has its own instance of DataServiceTransaction - so this should be ok.

My actual requirement is that I will get an excel sheet with data to be added to MARC and MDMA table. I guess the report you suggest is good for manually updating/creating/deleting MRP area. It will as good as using BDC in MM02 transaction programatically. Doing BDC will be the last option. If I am able to use any function module then it will good I guess. Please correct me, if I am wrong and suggest me how to proceed.
