B1 DI Events Service for B1H

Hello
I want to know if it is possible to use the DI Events Service on SAP B1H
I am trying to re compile the source project with DI API 9.0 B1H, but I am not sure about the code for B1DIEventsSender in SBO_SP_TransactionNotification

Alvaro González

Hi Andres,
Very good solution for the multiple database connections!!
Thanks for sharing your findings.
I'll implement this changes for the next release of DIEventService.
Best Regards
Trinidad.

  • SP2013 Remote Event Receivers for Office365 and Custom Web Service

Hello I'm starting to work with remote event receivers for Office365 and I read that the RERs runs only as Provider-Hosted or Auto-Hosted Apps, so If I wanted to implement for example prevent to the user add items to some list, my question is :
is it needed an account in a  platform cloud like Azure(to support .net apps) or have a custom server like IIS(with public IP, dns) in order to hosting my WFC service and to be able to manage the events registered into office365 ? or exist another option
to achieve this goal(prevent to users perform some actions) ? please, can you help me to clarify this ?....

  • Does Office365 EWS provides Push Notification service for Contacts and Calendar Events?

Even though there are REST API's for performing PUSH and PULL operations for Office365(online), I am still looking the old EWS approach where in I want to subscribe for PUSH notification service for Contacts, Calendars and Mail Boxes.
Can any one suggest if there is a way to achieve this.

I posted an answer in your Stack Overflow post.

  • Where can we get the list of predefined services for the notification of events/signals

We have a sample plugin docwatch which uses the responder to notify in case a new doc is created/saved/doc closed etc.
I want to know if I can get the similar set of services for the text frame
eg: Typing a text should generate the notification
Deleting a text shoud generate a notification( in the form of alert window or something)
    Also, for pages,frames etc.
Where can we check the list of default services available for these or can we do it some how in code?

    Hi Eton,
To check the instances which have ran today, you can use the below query in query builder.
    SELECT SI_NAME,SI_ID FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_INSTANCE=1 AND  SI_STARTTIME > '2014.08.20 00:00:00' Order by SI_STARTTIME DESC
To check the instances which would be running in the future, that means you have recurring schedules. Check for the SI_NEXTRUNTIME to get the details of instances which will run in the future as per the recurrences.
    Thanks,

  • F4 help not working in custom backend service for PD form

    Dear All,
Iam working with the Create position HCM PD form and i have a requirement to add two fields, one for the company code and the other is for the cost center and then create the relationship betwee the position and the cost center when the form is submitted.
I have defined a generic service and created an enhancement implementation and linked this generic service to the imppementaion. I have written the logic for the F4 help for the fields in the method GET_HELP_VALUES, i have written the scripting for the drop down field in the form to trigger the F4 help in the form.
When the cost center is being passed to the screen, i would then read the value of the cost center in the form workflow and create the relationship between S and K in the workflow as i am unable to achiev this in the design time of the PD form.
But my current problem in that he values are not getting passed from the method to the field on the screen. I have worked on quite a few scenarios for F4 help and doing validations in the implementation in the PA form and i have seen this functionality working fine.
My problem here is that i am unable to understand why the F4 value help is not working in my form. The standard PD service SAP_PD is also being used in the form to have the dropdown values for the account assignment feature.
Could you please suggest me with some clues to fix my issue? i can share more details for further analysis.
    Thanks.
    Best regards,
    Sridharan

    Hi Chris,
Thanks for your inputs. please see my reply to your questions
First....are you sure you have "marked" that field as possible for F4 help?
    Reply: Yes
Second...are you populating the help values strictly from that method...ie. not also using do_operations method to do it. If you refer to the documenation, it points out that trying to use both can cause issues.
Reply: i am using only the GET_HELP_VALUES method and nothing written in do_operations.
Third...when you debug your method, do you "see" the help values actually populating and as you say "not coming back to the screen"? I would check this first to make sure that there are actually values being found (ie. the logic within your service is correct).
Reply: i have put the external break-point in this method and when the form in opened for processing by the HR admininstrator, the form openes up and the control is not being sent to the debugger.  I have written the scripting in the exit event of the events and scripts as suggested in the SAP help document. SO when i click on the dropdown field in the form, the debugger starts and executes the method and the code executes, then no values are populated on the screen.
Fourth...are you using any generic services for populating help values as well. HCM P&F has a nasty habit of "if one GS fails, they all fail" so often, your service might work fine but an error in another makes yours appear to fail as well....hard to debug and find those kind.
Reply: Yes i am using the generic service mainly for the purpose of F4 help. I do not see any issue with other gneric services as i have implemented a few generic services for PA forms and they are working fine.
Fifth...oops...forgot the obvious one...make sure it isn't a security issue...ie. make sure you have access to read the cost centers you want.
Reply: I dont get any auth error in SU53 while i test the process in R3
    Lastly, you said:
"When the cost center is being passed to the screen, i would then read the value of the cost center in the form workflow and create the relationship between S and K in the workflow as i am unable to achiev this in the design time of the PD form."
You actually should be able to do this using an Advanced/Enhanced Generic Service (if this is in fact the step at which you want a true update to occur). Just a thought.
Reply: Could you please give some more information about this, how can i achieve it in advanced generic service.
Appreciate more thougts from you Chris!
    Thanks,
    Sridharan

Looks to be a cert or keystore issue. How do you have that setup?

In Windows Event long I can see the following events logged:
    Event 3002, Port Map:
Windows(R) failed a request to register RPC Port Mapper on TCP port 111.  RPC Port Mapper cannot start.
Network File System (NFS) clients use RPC Port Mapper (also known as Portmap and Rpcbind) to discover NFS protocols on remote servers.  Without RPC Port Mapper, Server for NFS
cannot start and NFS clients cannot access files on this server.
Verify that no other software is registered on TCP port 111, then start Server for NFS manually (which will also start RPC Port Mapper).
    Event 7000, Service Control Manager:
The Server for NFS Open RPC (ONCRPC) Portmapper service failed to start due to the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
    Event 7001, Service Control Manager:
The Server for NFS Driver service depends on the Server for NFS Open RPC (ONCRPC) Portmapper service which failed to start because of the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
    Event 7001, Service Control Manager:
The Server for NFS service depends on the Server for NFS Driver service which failed to start because of the following error:
The dependency service or group failed to start.
Based on a technet forum I have already checked and made sure there is no other service running on port 111 (command used is netstat -a -b -o).
    Dependent Service Status:
During the installation process “Client for NFS” seems to have gone well and the service started successfully. But the “Server for NFS” failed, when checked for the status of the dependent process “portmap” service failed to start with the WIN32_EXIT_CODE
“31 (0x1f)”. Please find below the query result.

As the EXIT CODE is 31 ( A device attached to the system is not functioning), I have checked device manager and made sure there is no yellow warning shown against any hardware device. Further I am not sure how to proceed and debug this issue.
Please let me know if you have any suggestion on how debug this issue further.

My solution was to run netstat -ano to identify what process was running on port TCP/UDP :111, then with the command tasklist I got PID matching with the task name. Once identified I stopped the process, rebooted and installed
the NFS service. On top of that, before installing NFS services I disabled firewall and antivirus. It worked fine for me. I hope this will be usefull for you. By the way, don't forget to enable all process back!
    Have a good one!

  • My workflow is not listed in the GOS (Services for object)

    Hello Experts,
I developed a workflow and linked the BO ZBUS2081. This is sub type of standard BO BUS2081. I am using the custom event INVOICEBLOCKED to trigger the workflow. The workflow is triggered propely when the invoce is created (with block) thru MIRO and I can see the workflow in SWEL or SWI6 or SWI14.
But, the workflow is not listed in the services for objects button of the invoice display using MIR4.
If I use the standard event 'BLOCKEDQUANT' as starting event, the workflow is triggered and I can view it in services for object.
In the table SWW_WI2OBJ has all entries about the workflow triggered using standard event or custom event.
How can I make the services for object in invoice list my workflow that was triggered using custom evet?
    Appreciate your help.
    Regards

    Hi Siva
Thanks for marking this thread answered.....We are glad that your issue was solved :-) ....... But I do agree with Rick Bakker, the first correct answer was by Paul Bakker and I had just elaborated on that.
Please mark the first correct answer as the "green" one.

  • Services for Object (GOS) Attachement List not showing after attachment

    Hi All,
I have created a new entry for the Generic Object Service List and this links to a copy of the CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_CREATE class (Create attachment) with some additional logic. However, after attaching a file, the "Attachment List" does not become available until after I re-enter the transaction. The attachment list is showing the correct attachments.
After some (understatement...) investigation, I found that even if I try and link the new service to a unchanged copy of the CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_CREATE service in SGOSATTR, it is not working. It is attaching fine, but the "Attachment List" entry in the Services for Object Menu is still greyed out. If I attach the original class CL_GOS_SRV_ATTACHMENT_CREATE to the newly created entry it works fine. e.g. straight after I attach a file to the transaction, the menu entry becomes available.
I can't find where the re-draw of the GOS menu happens and hence can not determine what is going wrong. Does anybody know if this is part of the Kernel or is this actually done in ABAP ?
Am I missing something ? Debugging including system debugging for two days now and can't find it... very frustrating.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Wouter.

    Hi Wouter,
I had originally posted to ask if you had resolved this since I was facing the same issue, but then deleted my post when I was able to get it working. Sorry, I didn't mean to initiate a flurry of activity in such an old thread.
My scenario is I created a new GOS service entry in table SGOSATTR using transaction SGOSM. My new service uploads attachments to an external document management system via a call to a RESTful web service. The class I use in the SGOSM entry is a custom subclass of CL_GOS_SRV_URL_CREATE.
I resolved this issue by taking a look at what CL_GOS_SRV_URL_CREATE does in its EXECUTE method. The key bits to refresh the GOS Attachment List with the new attachment are...
raise event commit_required. " if SGOSM has the commit flag checked
    raise event service_succeeded
           exporting eo_service = me.
These events tell any subscribers to go do their thing-- which in this case includes a refresh of the GOS Attachment List. So in the EXECUTE method of my custom subclass, after I call function BINARY_RELATION_CREATE, I raise these events...
    CALL FUNCTION 'BINARY_RELATION_CREATE'
       EXPORTING
           obj_rolea     = gs_object
           obj_roleb    = rel_doc
           relationtype = 'URL'
       EXCEPTIONS
           OTHERS       = 1.
    CASE sy-subrc.
       WHEN 0.
MESSAGE s043(sgos_msg). " The attachment was successfully created
           RAISE EVENT commit_required.
           RAISE EVENT service_succeeded
                 EXPORTING eo_service = me.
       WHEN OTHERS.
MESSAGE s042(sgos_msg). " The attachment has not been created
    ENDCASE.
I hope this is helpful to you even though your initial implementation was a while back. Thanks for replying to my question though!!
    Cheers,
    Amy

  • Change log of attachment in Services for object in PO

    Dear All,
I am unable to find the history of changes made to a file attached in a PO in the services for object button. Like other changes in header and items of a PO is available is this also available and if so how to get the details of changes of the attachment . The problem is one user had created the attachment in a PO and now finds that the attachment has been deleted as the same is no more there .The document is a word document . I do not find any table where such change record is available .
    Will anybody explain the above?
    Dhruba

You'll need an ABAPer to look for the table and if their is a history associated with changes.
What the User could do is subscribe to their objects so that if changed or deleted they receive a message
    http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/e6/767b44a0fc11d389c60000e8216438/frameset.htm
Add a function module to include the id name of the person changing the object and/or write the event detail to a table and create a display transaction.

    Nick

  • Query with links to 'services for object'

    Hi everybody
    I need your help
We have pictures (jpg, pdf, tif) linked to materials in material master (in transaction mm02 – services for object). Sometthing like this - but form materials:
    http://www.le.ac.uk/mis/docs/sapdocs/ug/UG5-1%20Services.doc
We would like to create the "stock report" with links to these attachments. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to create these links in the report?
I would like the report to look something like this:
    material_number1; stock1; link_to_picture_on_material_number1
    material_number2; stock2; link_to_picture_on_material_number2
the user should be able to open the attached picture (if it exists) by clicking the link at each material number (even better if the pictures were already displayed in the report)
Thank you very much in advance

    Jana

  • Webcenter Spaces Events Service configuration: FATAL Alert BAD CERTIFICATE

    Hello,
I have a simple requirement to connect the events taskflow from an exchange server that is https and has a confirmed security certificate. I use the wsdl path for the events service and add it to my webcenter spaces service configuration -> Personal Events configuration.
Then I ran into this error.
javax.net.ssl.SSLKeyException: FATAL Alert:BAD_CERTIFICATE - A corrupt or unuseable certificate was received.
So, I downloaded the .crt file from Chrome (in per format) and used the keytool to upload the certificate exception into the cacerts file inside jdk and jrocket folders. I restart the managed server running WebCenter Spaces. This had no effect on the error.
Is there anything else that I should do?
    Thanks,
    Pradyumna

I have the same problem. Did You resolve it?

    Hello Sibasish,
Did you start the DI Event Server in the server?
Start=>Run the command "services.msc"=>Start the DI Event Server.
From its architecture, the landscape is:
    1. Server
-B1DIEvnetServer - It is a windows service application called u201CSAP Business One DI Event Serviceu201D that create the remoting
<<C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One DI Event Service\SAP Business One DI Event Server\B1DIEventsServerService>>
    2.Client
-B1DIEventService <<C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One DI Event Service\SAP Business One DI Event Client\B1DIEventsService>>
The B1DIEventService is a library that both client and server must compile with (nothing to be changed by the partner). It acts as a filter taking simple commands from the client application and implementing the technical part of the connection with the B1DIEventServer.
The log in your last post is for this component in client.
    -Partner AddOn
The name B1DIEvnetServer and B1DIEventService is somehow confused.
Have you tried the client sample?<<D:\08-Perforce\BUSMB_B1\SBO_Tools\dev\Tools\SDK\B1DIEventsService\ClientSamples\ClientSampleCSharp>>
    Kind Regards, Yatsea
