B1siteuser Password

Hi everyone,
Every time when i install sap b1 server it says siteuser password wrong.. Have tried many times re-installing server tools.. I am giving a simple password like sap or 1234... So i will never forget..
Has anyone faced this problem??

I've read all the postings pertaining to re-setting the password for B1SiteUser. I can't find anywhere how to launch Business One Service Manager let alone get to License manager. I've even opened Server Manager on the server looking for it. Can someone give me some guidance? It would be greatly appreciated...

Licence server - enter valid password

Hello Experts,
I wanted to upgrade my 9.0 version to 9.1 version. But When I enter the B1SiteUser password to start upgrading, I am getting this error : "Could not connect to licence server; enter valid password."
For your information:
In Turkey Localization, you should do this step (c:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One ServerTools\System Landscape Directory\apache- tomcat-6.0.35\bin\) and rename the tomcat6w.exe to SLDw.exe) and add "-Duser.country=US -Duser.language=en".
I also changed "the current language for the non-unicode programs" from Turkish to English in Region and Language set-ups of Windows.
But no luck.

I have same problem with B1 9.1, Version for Hana, but I cannot apply the workaround of San Xu on linux server.
I try a clean installation of 9.1 servertools on linux server, but on windows server, when I run the Upgrade.exe for the databases, the error appears: "Could not connect to licence server; enter valid password".
I've the italian localization.
Can someone help me?

Business One License Server Reinstallation

Hi,
I installed a demo version of SAP Business One on my laptop and did not use it for a while after the demo license expired.
I now have a valid license I can use but I cannot remember the B1SiteUser password. I uninstalled Business One Server Tools but while trying to reinstall the solution, it asked for the B1SiteUser password and I cannot go beyond this stage.
I need to remove the previous installation, install a fresh copy with the license I have and be able to create a new B1SiteUser password.
I will appreciate any help with this.

Thanks for the response. I do know that I can change the password from License Manager but I would need the current password which i cannot remember.
I cannot remember the current password and attempt to uninstall and reinstall is not working because it asked for the B1SiteUser password as part of the installation process when re installing the server tool.
Is there something i need to do to be able to set up a new B1SiteUser account as part of the installation process?

Server Changing Problem

I am not able to change my server. I have SQL on my laptop, I want to connect to other server for SAP 8.8.
How it is possible?

Hi Gulshan....
Go to Server Tool> Sap Business One service manager> Select License Manager and click on Setting.
It will open another window and you find Configure security button.
Just click that and put the B1SiteUser password.
If you dont have then you can change it also by pressing Change Password button.
Once you put it you can select the Server Type and can change your server name....
This way you can solve your problem.....

8.8 B1 Site User Password

Hi All,
I am installing 8.8 and I have not been given a prompt for the B1SiteUser, this been the case I not finish the install.
If I open up the Server Manager and go to the u2018license Manageru2019 I can see that I can re set this, however I do not know what the original / standard password is.
Can any one help me.

Thank you for your hint. I was having the same issue. It didnt prompt for B1site user password and also the radio button "Server Database Credentials" was grayed out in the solution proposed by Mario Schoenberg .
I deleted the folder server tools, re installed and it worked.

Forget Site Password

unfortunately I forgot my Site Manager password,and if now i am unable to create to new company in SAP 8.8 PL 08 .
is there any possibility to recover it ? if not then what will be next option for me.

It seems when i try to login to Netflix it comes back with email id or password is incorrect (code 117), i can't find anything to fix this, help!!!

I've tried everything, reset, unplug, even have it connected via Ethernet, always the same outcome! I can login on our iMac with no problem!

Finally someone who found the solution. I've been searching for the answer for a while, some people suggest resetting the Apple TV, reverting to the previous firmware, changing password to all numbers, you name it.
The right answer is: make sure to have a password with both letters and numbers. Someone at Apple must have thought to override the password requirements of Netflix, without telling anyone else. They need better change management procedures!

SRM 5.0 - how to change default password?

Am trying to install SRM 5.0 Oracle 10g as the DB. In the instllation doc of SRM 5.0 a default password is given to connect to the database and I see the encrypted password is in the jdbc properties. How can we change the default password? How do I get the encrypted value?

I'm trying to upgrade a WLS 6.1 SP2 with WLP 4.0 SP2 instance to WLS 7.0 SP2
with WLP 7.0 SP2. Everythng is fine except for that we cannot use the same

RBACx Encrypted Password Change Utility

Hi all,
In the OIA/SRM installation guide, there is a reference to a tool, to find out the password of rbacxservice.
"Oracle Identity Analytics utilizes an encrypted password when communicating with the database.
To change the default database password, use the RBACx Encrypted Password Change Utility"
Could you please help me finding out this tool.

The mentioned tool only encrypts the password so that you don't have to store a plain text password in the config file. It does not decrypt it. The default rbacxservice password is rbacxservice.
The tool does not come with the OIA/SRM distribution so if you need it, you will need to contact support.
