B2B-51507 :The data starting at position 0 is not recognized as a valid dat

Hi All,
I am trying to work with Delimited Flat File in 11.1.13 version
B2B has to translate Flat into XML data for further operations
Sample looks like:
F01,,RM30207,Subinventory Transfer,KITCHEN1,100,LB,KETTLE1-HS,20-SEP-2011
It is a delimited data file.
Steps I am following:
1. Create Delimited Flat file ECS in Oracle B2B Document Editor (starting with a blank template)
2. Create XSD for the ECS
3. COnfigure the generated ECS and XSD into Oracle B2B
4. Create Trading partner and agreements
I am facing with below error when I enable translation
B2B-51507 :The data starting at position 0 is not recognized as a valid data transmission.
No errors when translation is disabled
Thanks,
Deepti

Hi Deepti,
For inbound scenario, the parser schema should be created and has to be added inside the XERegistry.xml ($SOA_HOME/soa/thirdparty/edifecs/XEngine/config/)
e.g :

${XERoot}/config/schema/csv_ParserSchema.ecs

This can be created using the document editor. This parserschema need to be created for the ecs file that is used for translation.

Dheeraj

Hi All -
We are building a Inbound Flow.
Data file is pushed to a File Location which Oracle B2B Picks and processes.
Data file format = Positional Flat File.
ECS and XSD is generated for the PFF and attached in the document definition.
We also followed the blog post - http://anuj-dwivedi.blogspot.com/2011/10/handling-positionaldelimited-flat-files.html
And did the Registraty changes and other stuff.
We are getting following error -
Error Code 51507- Error Description Machine Info: The data starting at position 0 is not recognized as a valid data transmission.
Please let us know if you have any pointers.
Thanks..

I applied the following solution and it worked -
Solution –
1. Generate ECS
2. Now click EDIT and Parse Schema and this will get you a new ECS. (Parse Schema is Document Editor 7.x + feature)
3. Use this ECS and put it in - C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_SOA1\soa\thirdparty\edifecs\XEngine\config\schema
4. Add the .ecs in the Registry @ - C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_SOA1\soa\thirdparty\edifecs\XEngine\config\XERegistry
<Registry Name="XERegistry">
<Product Name="Parser">

${XERoot}/config/schema/x12_parser_3_char_delim_wrepeating-x-4020.ecs

5. Restart SOA
Thanks..

• B2B-51507,The data starting at position 0 is not recognized as a valid data

Hi out there,
New to Oracle B2B and experiencing the following:
Made a filedescription - Positional flatfile, validated OK in B2B editor, exporting to Oracle B2B, configuring documents, partners and agreements.
The file is picked up and is matched to partner and agreement, but I have the above error. Seems like the file is not read. Oracle B2B manage to open the file to find the first line for matching the agreement.
Have tried out different filedescriptions with no luck.
Made a similiar config. for MSCONS EDIFACT and this is transferred correctly.
Do anyone have a hint where to look for the error?
Thanks in advance.
Enclose some logging and hope someone out there can help me to see what went wrong.

Hi;
We received from development an ECS file to support NCPDP Drug Claims. In addition to this, development provided us with three parser schema files and revised XERegistry.xml and Agreement.xml files to install.
We did this in our test environment and have tested with them for several months. Everything went fine. Over time we did revise the .ecs file to accommodate some trading partner requirements and regenerated the .xsd files as appropriate. We do not validate the files, only translate them into XML and pass them off to BPEL using the B2B AQ. No problems. Worked well. Happy Campers we were!
Now we are moving this into production.
The first issue is that the system couldn't find the trading partner agreements. When I set logging on I found that it was not identifying the "to_party" correctly. In test we have a file name set on the listening channel as %FROM_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%_%DOCTYPE_NAME% and had no problems identifying the "to_party" as DBHS which is what we've called ourselves. Just to force this I added the "to_party" to the file name making it %TO_PARTY%_%FROM_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%_%DOCTYPE_NAME% and re-named the files as appropriate. It is now able to identify the trading partner agreement.
However now we get the above error. I can run the same file into the development environment and it works. I have regenerated the .ecs and xsd files, re-installed them in the document, dropped and recreated everything and still it doesn't work. It's making me crazy.
Any ideas out there?
Regards, Ingrid

Ingrid,
The first issue is that the system couldn't find the trading partner agreements. When I set logging on I found that it was not identifying the "to_party" correctly.Was it identifying to_party as one of the remote TP? Have you checked whether "internal" checkbox (under Channel Attributes) was enabled or not in the listening channel?
Just to force this I added the "to_party" to the file name making it %TO_PARTY%_%FROM_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_REVISION%_%DOCTYPE_NAME% and re-named the files as appropriate. It is now able to identify the trading partner agreement. This is forced identification which should have not been required. Better try to figure out the reason why it was not able to identify to_party.
I can run the same file into the development environment and it works.It gives the clue. Can you cross-check -
1. Whether parser schema files are copied under $ORACLE_HOME/soa/thirdparty/edifecs/XEngine/config/schema and XERegistry.xml has correct entry for them (validate the path in XERegistry.xml and also cross-check the file and directory access). Make sure that servers were restarted after copying these files and it is a shared storage accessible by all the servers of the domain.
2. Download the Wire Message payload from B2B report and make sure that B2B is receiving the complete and correct file and there are no junk characters visible in the start/end of the payload.

Hi,
I tested your EDI data using B2B document editor. I am getting the following Error:
The Interchange Trailer is missing. The segment itself may be missing or the Segment Delimiter may be missing.
As Dheeraj mentioned in previous post, ISA segment is not constructed properly. I have modified your EDI data and validated in B2B document editor.
Correct EDI data:
ISA*00*Authrizati*00*Penske ZZEMR *01*EMR *090917*0622*U*00401*000000003*0*P*>~GS*FA*Penske*EMR*20090917*0622*3*X*004010~ST*997*30001~AK1*PO*1030~AK9*A*1*0*0~SE*4*30001~GE*1*3~IEA*1*000000003~
I used EDI version 4010.

Is anyone aware of any issues with the Export-SPWeb commandlet?
SharePoint 2013 + March PU + AUG 2013 CU.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Richard,
According to your description, the error occurred when you ran the Export-SPWeb command.
I recommend to verify the things below for troubleshooting:
Save the document library as an template(include content) and create a new document library based on the template, then run the Export-SPWeb command to export the new document library to see if the issue still occurs.
Did this issue occur with other document library? If not, you can delete the string field with error, then run the Export-SPWeb command to narrow the issue scope.
As a workaround, you can save the library as a template and deploy it to the site collection where you want to move the library, then create the new library in the site collection.
Best regards.
Thanks

Hi,
From your narration, you can clear the configuration cache, then re-run the SharePoint Configuration Wizard, check the effect.
Cleared the cache of config database by following below steps.
1. Stopped the Windows SharePoint Services Timer service.
2. Started on the SharePoint Server where Central Administration Site is hosted. Browse to
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\SharePoint\Config\
3. Deleted all the xml files. (But do not delete the cache.ini file.)
4. Then Edited the cache.ini and replaced the current value with "1".
5. Restarted the Windows SharePoint Services Timer service on the Central Admin server .
Thanks,

• TS1292 I have four $50 iTunes gift cards. I am not able to load any of the codes into my new iPad account. I know I have not made any mistakes with typing in the 16 digit code. I keep getting the "code you entered is not recognized as a valid code" messag

I have tried all I can to load iTunes cards into my iPad without success. Upon giving one of the cards to a friend he conveniently loaded. I keep getting the error message: "The code you entered is not recognized as a valid code". I just don't know what to do as I need to use these cards to make purchases off the I tunes store.

i tried with out using commmit but it is not creating Status.
When i see the function module help and they are trying to COMMIT
FU STATUS_OBJECT_CREATE
Short Text
Create Status Object
Functionality
The function module generates a status object.
Take the object number from the object number management (function modules OBJECT_NUMNBER_GET_xx).
If no object number is given, the module takes a temporary object number that must be replaced later (function module STATUS_OBJECT_SWITCH_NUMBER).
Example
Creating an internal order with number 100123 (object type "ORC") for status profile "STATSCHEM" with final object number
call function 'OBJECT_NUMBER_GET_OR'
exporting
aufnr = '100123'
importing objnr = objektnummer.
call function 'STATUS_OBJECT_CREATE'
exporting
objnr = objektnummer
obtyp = 'ORC'
stsma = 'STATSCHEM'.
commit work.
Creating the same order with a temporary object number
data: objectkey like ionra.
* TBO00-REFSTRUCT for object type 'OR' is 'IONRA'
objectkey-aufnr = '100123'.
call function 'STATUS_OBJECT_CREATE'
exporting
i_objectkey = objectkey
obtyp       = 'ORC'
stsma       = 'STATSCHEM'.
importing
objnr       = objektnummer.
call function 'OBJECT_NUMBER_GET_OR'
exporting
aufnr = '100123'
importing objnr = objektnummer_neu.
call function 'STATUS_OBJECT_SWITCH_NUMBER'
exporting
objnr_old = objektnummer
objnr_new = objektnummer_neu.
commit work.

• LogProviders.Add fails with "not recognized as a valid log provider type." in Data Tools but not BIDS

In attempting to add standard DTS logging to a package via Data Tools, I found that my attempt to execute:
Dim provider As LogProvider = p.LogProviders.Add("DTS.LogProviderTextFile.2")
(or any other log provider type,) resulted in:
The log provider type "DTS.LogProviderTextFile.2, {0A039101-ACC1-4E06-943F-279948323883}" specified for log provider "{CC5CB9A4-E0D5-4ECD-8F4E-1E8FB9BDE8A6}" is not recognized as a valid log provider type. This error occurs when an
attempt is made to create a log provider for unknown log provider type. Verify the spelling in the log provider type name.
I created a new package with a single script task using only the example code from the MS documentation for Embedding Logging Programmatically at:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms136023(v=sql.110).aspx
consisting of:
Imports Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime
Module Module1
Sub Main()
Dim p As Package = New Package()
Dim loggingConnection As ConnectionManager = p.Connections.Add("FILE")
loggingConnection.ConnectionString = "C:\SSISPackageLog.txt"
Dim provider As LogProvider = p.LogProviders.Add("DTS.LogProviderTextFile.2")
provider.ConfigString = loggingConnection.Name
p.LoggingOptions.SelectedLogProviders.Add(provider)
p.LoggingOptions.EventFilterKind = DTSEventFilterKind.Inclusion
p.LoggingOptions.EventFilter = New String() {"OnPreExecute", _
"OnPostExecute", "OnError", "OnWarning", "OnInformation"}
p.LoggingMode = DTSLoggingMode.Enabled
' Add tasks and other objects to the package.
End Sub
End Module
I get the same error as listed above in SQL Server 2012 Data Tools on three separate machines. On my primary dev box, where the code fails in Data Tools, running the exact same code in BIDS runs without problems.
Importing the working BIDS package into Data Tools also fails with the same error.
I have not encountered any other 2012 Data Tools issues, but logging is a core pattern that makes me worry that this is a problem that may emerge with other functions in the DTS toolset.
Thanks for any help!!

Arthur,
Great idea, I verified that the Integration Services for 2012 was not installed. I installed the new SSIS service and verified that SQL Server Integration Services 11.0 was running (previously only 10.0 was running.)
Initially, I experienced an error message trying to run my simple script above:
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Applications.Core, Version=10.0.0.0,...
I followed the steps at the MS link for Could not load file or assembly ‘Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Applications.Core’
and loaded the missing x64 runtime from edist/VSTA/runtime/x64/VSTA_RT30.msi
on the distribution media as recomended.
The script ran, but returned the error listed in the beginning of this message. I then tried:
- turning off the 10.0 service
- setting the project's Run64BitRunTime value both false and true
- changing the reference to Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\SDK\Assemblies to C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS\v4.0_11.0.0.0__89845dcd8080cc91
all of these resulted in the same failure.
Thank you for the suggestion, I really thought it would be on target. Alas, it wasn't the fix.
It is so weird that all the other stuff I'm doing (a very elaborate programmatic package generator doing some tricky stuff,) works fine and only this super basic logging fails!!!!
Thanks again,
--Tim

• Fcpx: the video properties of this clip are not recognized.

The original footage is 300fps hi-speed video, shot with Casio Exilim EX-F1. Resolution 512x384, framerate 29.97
When I imported the footage into FCPX, I marked "Transcoding: Create optimized media". So I did.
Now I start a new project, drag the clip into the timeline and I get the message "The video properties of this clip are not recognized." andI can choose to import the clip as 640x480. But I don't want that, and why have I just transcoded into pro-res if FCPX itself cannot recognize the clip afterwards? What am I missing here?
For the record: I also bought Compressor4 and Motion5 so if they are needed for my solution, no problem. I tried importing the clip first into Compressor4 but couln't find a way to export into a FCPX-project.
Short note about myself: long time Premiere user, recently switched to Apple + FCPX.

I can't show you screenshots because I don't have access to FCP at the moment. Take the first clip you want to be in the project. Open it into the timeline using the Open in Timeline function. You can now blade this clip however you like. Cut the beginning, cut the end. Slice it however you want it. The audio will be separate from the video. You can collape it into a compound clip if you want. This only happens with the first clip. Leave the timeline open. In the event event browser, find the second shot you want. Mark In and Out points. Press the E key to append it to timeline. You want to insert a a different shot in the beginning. Move the playhead in the timeline back to the beginning. Find the shot you want in the browser. Mark in and out points. Press the W key to insert the shot. You want to add transitions. Select the clips in the timeline and press Cmd-T. You want to add a timeline. Put the playhead in the timeline wherever you want. Double click the title to put it into the timeline. Add more shots into the timeline. Do you see what's happening? You are editing your program into that first clip's timeline. The dimensions of that first clip remain intact in that timeline. When you export you're exporting that clip's timeline. As I said, it's not ideal, but it's a workaround. Basically FCP only works with standard video formats.

Contacts are NOT part of the iTunes backup. If you had read the User Guide when you got your phone, you would have learned that Apple recommends you synch your contacts for safekeeping to your computer (Outlook, Address Book) or a cloud service. Using the phone as your only source of your contacts is foolish as the phone can easily be lost, damaged, stolen, or the data become corrupt.
If you've been using your phone as strongly recommended, your contacts are safe and sound on your computer or cloud service ready to be synched back to your phone. Of course, you should be backing up your computer regularly as well.
If you haven't been doing this, your contacts are likely gone.

• I have Photoshop CS5.1 (bought in 2011). The photoshop Camera Raw plug-in is not recognizing the format of my new Nikon D610. I updated the version of my Camera Raw plug in and am still getting this message when trying to open images in photoshop. Please

I have Photoshop CS5.1 (bought in 2011). The photoshop Camera Raw plug-in is not recognizing the format of my new Nikon D610. I updated the version of my Camera Raw plug in and am still getting this message when trying to open images in photoshop. Please help.

This link shows that ACR 8.3 supports the Nikon D610 and 6.7.1 was the final version for CS5.
Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
So you can upgrade to CS6 and ACR 8.7.1
or using the DNG converter, convert your Nikon raw files to dng format to open in CS5.
Here is the download link: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh : Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1
or Windows: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1
And here is a great video tutorial on how to use the converter.

i got an itunes giftcard for my birthday and when i tried to add it on my balance on my ipod touch it says the code you entered is not recognized as a valid code. but i just got this card brand new for my birthday.

Make sure you're using the correct code. For most iTunes cards, the code is under the scratchoff area on the back of the card. For more information, see this support article:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1292
If you can't get to work after perusing that page, contact the iTunes Store Support; instructions are at the bottom of that article.

Do other USB devices work on your MBP?
Does this USB stick work on other MBPs?
There is a possibility that the stick requires more power than the MBP delivers. Try it on a powered hub.
