B2B with Firewall configuration for Outgoing messages
Hi,
We have put B2B midtier within Intranet. We have firewall configuration for our network.
When B2B sends the business message to remote trading partner.The connection first hits the firewall. Inorder to pass through the firewall what ports do we need to open on firewall ..?
Any suggestions..?
Thakls
Hello Praveen,
Please use B2B in the rever proxy configuration with OHS. Pleae refer to 5.5 Configuring Reverse Proxies and Load Balancers in the Oracle® HTTP Server Administrator's Guide 10g Release 2 (10.1.2)
In tip.properties pleae give proxy host and port (10.60.15.24 and port 4085) and restart the B2B server and follow above document for configuring OHS in reverse proxy mode by changing the http.conf
Please let me know.

SMTP-server does not support DKIM signature.
How to make a DKIM signature for outgoing messages in the Thunderbird?I'm not familiar with this particular use of the terminology.
Thunderbird has S/MIME support built in. You can add PGP support via the Enigmail add-on. Both offer the means to sign and encrypt messages.
I see add-ons to support the checking of DKIM-signed incoming messages, but haven't found any yet for signing.
Is it something that an email client is entitled to do? The Wikipædia entry says
<blockquote>Both modules, signing and verifying, are usually part of a mail transfer agent (MTA).</blockquote>
and that means a server, as opposed to a client (MUA). -

Are iPads built with different configurations for different countries?
Are iPads built with different configurations for different countries?

I live in the U.S. but am moving to Brazil. I would like to purchase an iPad here in the U.S. but want to have it set up for Brazil, ie: language, operation, WiFi. Can all of this be done by selecting the country specific configuration at the setup stage?
You can certainly chose the language when you set it up. WiFi is an international standard, no difference between US and Brazil. You can further go into Settings - General - International and select language, as well as keyboards and region format.
Also, Is it possible to order the iPad (to be shipped to me in the U.S.) with packaging material (ie: operation manual, etc.) in the Brazilian Portuguese language?
There is no operation manual included - English, Portuguese, or any other language. You can find the one you need at http://support.apple.com/pt_BR/manuals/.
Additionally, does Brazil have 4G?
I'm not sure, but as of now the only countries where the iPad 4G will work are the US and Canada - other countries that have 4G use different frequencies. -

SNC with SAPRouter configuration for Third party company
Hi expers,
Need your advise for my below scenario.
We are running SAP on IBM i. My question is about outside world connectivity with encryption mechanism to SAP AS.
As of now , we are not using SNC either for internal / external network connectivity with SAP apps server. But we are going to allow third party company to connect for one of the payment processing takes place. Since the third party company not accepting VPN connectivity, we are planning to implement Separate SAPRouter configured with SNC, (encryption option), and open the firewall port for them. How much secured it is ? we are in the process of installaing and configuring windows server for SNC & SAPRouter installation. What are all the required configuration in SAP Application server level & new SNC server, for this ? How exactly SAPGui ( from third party company) to SAP Apps Server will go through the traffic ? Need experts advise on this ?
Basically I want to make sure, once it is configured, trafic will go through encrypted way outside of our network. Thanks in advance for all your valuable reply !Hi mgrant,
The information at the bottem of the article in in Keith_Beddoe's personal website may help. Link: Using your own router for Infinity

For setting Heder text for your ALV table

lr_column->r_header->set_text( 'Position' ).

How can I make the message date appear with the time for unread messages?
Mail systems I am moving from display the date & time with the messages. I need this displayed to determine aging and importance of received mail. When archiving/saving old mail it helps filing mail off and not duplicate archived messages.
Thunderbird displays time and date for all messages except for the present day messages. The time only is displayed for today and the date is appended at midnight.

The folder for Outgoing messages
Hello,
My internet connection is not stable and very often when sending a message I receive an alert that the SMTP server is unreachable or something like that. So to send a message I have to wait when the connection is restored. And it may take quite a long time just sitting in front of the computer.
Instead, as far as I remember in Outlook Express there was a folder where all outgoing messages were put after I press "Send" button and sent as soon as this was possible.
Why is there no such an "Outgoing" folder here in Thunderbird? I can't find an option weather to "Send messages immediately" or not.
Thanks for advice.Messages that are being sent now or later pass through the aptly named Outbox. You can find the Outbox under Local Folders.
Normally when you lose your network connection the Send button changes to a Send Later button and the message will go to the Outbox and wait until the network returns and you place Thunderbird back in the Online mode. -

For Digicel operator from French Guiana. Not configuration for voice messaging
Hello
I have an Iphone 4 S unlocked all operators.
I have a new package of telephone in the operator Digicel of French Guiana.
My problem is that there is no pré-configuration for voicemail for this operator.
even in the after-sales service of this operator.
They n ' were not the solution.
Except for the Iphone 3GS.
Can Apple and Mac 0S5 system experts, you find a solution so that all Guyana Iphone users can have the functionality of voice mail on the Digicel network?
Know that your solution will be valid for Martinique and guadeloupe.It is CSV (= comma separated variable) data. My intention was that people could import it into Excel or OpenOffice Calc and edit it as a record of how they had configured their phones. Nokia only allow uploading jpg, gif, png, pdf, log, doc and docx files here, not spreadsheet files.
It cannot be used to configure a phone directly; that must be done manually.
Having such a record eases the task of configuring a new phone or the same phone after a firmware upgrade or reload, especially if the changes are highlighted, for example by bolding.
To make it easier I've uploaded an OpenOffice Calc file at http://www.mediafire.com/?094z4ilz0hemm3y and a Excel file at http://www.mediafire.com/?ig191r6xbz68rx7. They are for a 3110c with 7.30 firmware but other S40 3e phones have similar configuration.

Issue with client configuration for CuciLync 9.2.5
Hi,
we are currently preparing the client configuration for CuciLync 9.2.5.
When CuciLync starts we don't want to see the CuciLync window in the foreground.
Therefore we use the 'hubvisible' setting.
%APPDATA% \Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config\jabberLocalConfig.xml
<userConfig name="hubvisible" value="FALSE"/>
In addition we use this setting in the file
ProgramFiles%\Cisco Systems\CUCILync\jabber-config-defaults.xml
At first it looks like that the setting works fine.
But CuciLync always resets 'hubvisible' to 'true'.
Any idea what needs to be done to ensure that the setting is not overwritten ?
Thanks in advance for your feedback
Best Regards

Ftp - ftpd and firewall configuration for passive connections
I set up ftpd on my imac. Connecting and logging on work ok, but when I try to get a directory listing or xfer or send multiple commands it always locks up, i get a message "421 Service not available, remote server timed out. Connection closed" and I see that the ftpd process for that connection has terminated.
Turning the firewall completely off allows ftpd to work correctly, but I was under the impression that if I check the "FTP Access" box under services, the firewall should CORRECTLY self-configure to allow connections to ftpd. Opening ports 1024-65535 guarantees that ftpd will work with a client's passive connection, but is there a better way?
I tried opening 20 for the data connection and 21 for control, but unless I tell everyone to use an active connection, there is still a long wait before most ftp clients notice that passive isn't working and switch to an active connection, so I would like to avoid that also.Hi, we use FTPd (with Pure FTPd Manager) on our internal server here. While I'm not a complete expert, I do know that we were able to get passive FTP working only after we got this setup properly.
The main reason we got this was for it's ability to set a default port range for passive FTP to work on. In Pure FTPd Manager, you go to Preferences/Settings and you will see the area to input your passive port range (we use 51000-51100).
Then you just need to forward those ports (on a router) to your FTP server, and/or open those ports on your server firewall.
It sounds like you already have ports 20-21 setup.
Hope this helps!

XSLT Mapping with Dynamic Configuration for Mail Adapter
Hi Guys,
I am wondering if somebody can help me please.
I have a requirement in which I need to pick up the file from FTP and email it to the user as an attachment with the same file name and content.
I know it is possible via 3 method either by deploying adapter module or via XSLT or JAVA Mapping.
I preferred XSLT Mapping because it is easier to use and we don't need to compile the code like JAVA Mapping.
I have done the XSLT Mapping but the only problem I am facing is that how to copy the file name which we get it from Dynamic Configuration to the Mail ContentDisposition.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
xmlns:map="java:java.util.Map"
xmlns:dyn="java:com.sap.aii.mapping.api.DynamicConfiguration"
xmlns:key="java:com.sap.aii.mapping.api.DynamicConfigurationKey">
<xsl:output indent="no" />
<xsl:param name="inputparam"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<!-- change dynamic configuration -->
<xsl:variable name="dynamic-conf"
select="map:get($inputparam, 'DynamicConfiguration')" />
<xsl:variable name="dynamic-key"
select="key:create('http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File', 'FileName')" />
<xsl:variable name="dynamic-value"
select="dyn:get($dynamic-conf, $dynamic-key)" />
<xsl:variable name="dummy"
select="dyn:put($dynamic-conf, $dynamic-key, $new-value)" />
<!-- copy payload -->
I tried many option but unfortunately none of them worked.
<Content_Disposition>attachment;filename="$inputparam"</Content_Disposition>
<Content_Disposition>attachment;filename="$dynamic-conf"</Content_Disposition>
<Content_Disposition>attachment;filename="$dynamic-key"</Content_Disposition>
<Content_Disposition>attachment;filename="$dynamic-value"</Content_Disposition>
<Content_Disposition>attachment;filename="$dummy"</Content_Disposition>
<Content_Disposition>
attachment;filename=
<xsl:value-of select="dynamic-key"/>
</Content_Disposition>
I really appreciate if someone can please provide some guidance.
Thanks,Hi,
Yes u r correct it will show error in operation mapping.. bcoz u cannot check the DynamicConfiguration in Operation mapping...
It will throw Exception..
The parameter to UDF depends on ur requirement.... Let us know ur requirements exactly...
If u r doing for file to file means no UDF required,, just check ASMA on both sides....
