B480 Microphone doesnt work, maybe?

I have a Lenovo B480.I dont know if this computer has microphone or not.can anyone help me with that?

You can also uninstall your Audio Driver under Device Manager

If your iPad is still in warranty, show it to an Apple Store Genius. If the Genius can not fix it, you may get a replacement iPad on the spot.
If your iPad is out of warranty, or there is no Apple Store near you, look for an Apple Authorized Repair Center. There may be one in your city. If out of warranty, they should be able to repair the microphone for less than the Apple Store's replacement price. <Apple Authorized Repair Centers>

I have had this problem too. I tried all sorts of things but fould a really simple solution in my case. I took it to the store and the genius person said the problem was with the screen and it would need to be replaced. I had taken apart my iPhone 3 to change the bttery and saw the tiny ribbon cables that connected the various parts to the screen and thought maybe one was loose. Since I couldn't use the phone anyway I had little to lose. I just banged the bottom edge of the phone on my desk several times. Aabout 5 solid hits. And the microphone started working again. This also worked for me when pushing the home button failed to turn on the screen. Note that I have a strong Speck case so I wasn't hitting the metal edge of the phone on the desk.
There are probably lots of reasons for the mic to stop working but in my case i think it was just a loose connection from being dropped too many times.

I use skype everyday to talk to my family, but since I updated the software to ios7.0.4, my microphone doesn't work.
I even did a full factory restore and still not working. I have searched the web but nothing helps!

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Built in microphone doesnt work

My built in microphone doesn't work. Any tips to fix it? My webcam is also broken so I bought a USB one but that's not picking up sound.

Is the built-in microphone listed as an input device in the Sound preference pane or in the Skype preferences dialog?
If it isn't, there's a slim chance you might be able to solve the problem by booting in safe mode and then rebooting as usual, or by resetting the SMC.
Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
If those steps don't work, there's an even slimmer chance that you might solve the problem by reinstalling OS X. Your profile says you're running 10.6.8. You would need your installation disc to reinstall that, which you probably don't have with you.
Failing all that, you might be able to use a USB microphone, if you can find one. Don't buy another analog microphone with a mini-audio connector. It won't work.

The full functionality of the Realtek Drivers or even the audio configuration in Skype may be invalid due to a recent software update on your computer or hardware change. An update of your audio drivers can resolve both problems.
Try the latest (v2.71 04/2013) generic Realtek "High Definition Audio Codecs" drivers to see if it resolves the problem. I use these drivers on my computers that are compatible and have not run into any issues. They are available at the link below:

Installing the drivers is generally a two-stage procedure. On it's own it will uninstall your existing drivers, prompt you to reboot, then it will install the latest release after the reboot. You would probably want to reboot one more time afterward. Also be aware that it is recommended to have Mic boost set to zero when using Skype, but the lowest setting where it currently is at may suffice as well.

My ipod touch 5 microphone doesnt work.

I have tried cleaning the microphone hole (betrween camera lense and flash) but it still will not pick up any volume from my voice unless my mouth is right up against the mic. Please help.

I am very disappointed to. I have an iPad 2, out of warranty for 6 months. When I went in to have them look at it the only offer I got was to swap it out for $240. I spoke with the manager, who just kept repeating I should have gotten Apple Care. I told him about reading all the other people that lost their mic on line, and it must be a defect. He told me not to believe everything you read on line. I am trying to tell everyone about this. iPad 4 has the same problem!
So any new iPad have this checked out!

The hands free mic is the upper mic and should be working fine. Otherwise the logic board is faulty. If you can only perform hands free calls, then the lower mic is faulty. The replacement part is the iPhone charging port with flex cable and lower mic, about $5 part.

OS X Lion redemption codes doesnt work (Maybe due to moutain lion?)

my company purchased 20 OS X Lion redemption codes. We have used 5 of them so far. Today I went to upgrade the rest of our macs using the redemption codes, however the codes no longer work (I dont even get a message to say why, just literally nothing happens when I click redeem)

OS X Lion has been superceded by Mountain Lion in the MAS. Some folks report that Apple can still provide codes for downloads. I would contact the folks at Apple who sold you the multi-purchase codes. It will be days faster than exchanging email with a first level customer service agent sitting in a call center in Asia working from a script in a notebook.

I don't fully understand what the System Reset does but I've found that it cures many ills. It's easy, quick and harmless:
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
A System Reset does not remove any apps, music, movies, etc. nor does it cause any settings to revert back to default.

Hi all,?since one week my microphone doesnt work. I dont know why. The only thing i made was, I bought more RAM in my pc. Now i have 6 GB. Now my on my Xfi Fatality Prof. Series. My OS is Win XP X64 Edition. I have testet all settings in windows and reinstalled the driver but noting works. The Headset (Sennheiser PC60) works fine on a other pc. And Another Headset on my pc also wont work. Is this a Software bug? Can someone help me?Sorry for the bad english :-/ i am German

The issue is that the current WinXP x64 drivers do not properly support the memory mapping that occurs in systems with 4Gb+ RAM.
I don't know why Creative won't release a new driver to fix this, apparently they addressed the issue for Vista... so you'd think that propagating the fix to the rest of the drivers would be somewhat straight forward...
If you yank enough memory to get under 4GB RAM... or edit your boot.ini to add the /maxmem switch to force winXP to not address all the RAM... your problem will magically disappear...
