B50 touch: unable to connect to school wifi, but everyone else can.

Help!!! This is the first time it's happened to me. I can't connect to the wifi but everyone here at school can. I tried disabling the connection, enabling & even restored my computer to an earlier date. None of this worked!!

As per the query we understood that you are facing the issue with WIFI in your B50 touch laptop.
Please reinstall the WIFI drivers and check for the issue, click here for the drivers if the operating system is windows 7.
Click here for the drivers if the operating system is windows 8.1.

  • Hello people I can't connect to my wifi yet everyone else can, how come? Many thanks

My IPhone 4s won't connect to my wifi yet everyone else can connect to it. Everytime i try connect to my wifi it just shows the little loading symbol and doesnt give the blue tick. Have I pressed something under the wifi settings for this possibly to happen. This is very frustrating as I can't FaceTime either. Many thanks to the feedback I recieve upon this.

Try rebooting the router. Whether or not it is working with other devices does not matter.

  • Can't connect to Dell server but everyone else can

These are the error masages I get when trying to login to server: "The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "smb://192????/" could not be
read or written. (Error code -36)."
The server may not exist or it is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address and try again.
I have no problem to connect to internet.

My paper work for my linksys says WEP 64 bits. I've tried changing my IPOD to that and it will say put in password and when I do I get "invalid password" or can not connect. This has been in the last few weeks. I have researched this for the last 2 weeks, called apple and they said it's not my IPOD, called Linksys and they want to charge $30 to fix it. How do I change my router without totaly not messing it up?

  • My ipod touch (2nd generation) connects to my wifi but does not give me internet

I have an Ipod touch (2nd gen).  I did a factory restore yesterday and not I can't connect to the internet.  I am connected to my wifi.  I see the wifi symbol on my ipod touch. However, when I try to go on safari or other apps that use internet such as weather, it says: Safari cannot open the page because it is not connectged to the internet.  I know my wifi is working because I am using it to send this message.  I have tried restarting my ipod and as well as forgeting the network and reconnecting to the network, but I still get the same problem.
    Thank you for your help

    - Do other devices successfully connect tot he network?
Does the iPod successfully connect to other networks?
    Try:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router

  • My ipad2 was working fine last night, but this morning is unable to connect to ANY wifi networks (though it can detect them).  All typical solutions fail.  What can i do?

My ipad2 was working fine last night, but this morning when I woke it up... it no longer was connected to my network.  While it can detect networks, it cannot connect to any (have tried at home and at work).  I have tried: resetting router, resetting ipad, forgetting network, renewing lease on network, ensuring airplane mode is off, resetting network settings, turning wifi on/off.  None of the typical solutions I can find online seem to work.  HELP!

You've gone through all of the basics. You might look at this document regarding potential issues with wi-fi environments.

If none of that works, and if a device restore doesn't work, it's time for a trip to the Genius Bar.

  • My MacBookPro connects to my WIFi but my Ipad2 can't connect, any advice welcome.

Have been using my new ipad2 on home wifi, now it won't connect. No problems connecting on MacBookPro. Please help

Power down the router, wait ten seconds and power it up again.
If that doesn't help, my guess is a firewall in the router.  For reasons that I don't understand, the firewall can block IOS (iPad/iPod) communication without impacting computer communication.
You need to access the router's administrative menus.  Contact the router supplier if you need help there.  If a firewall is present, turn it off and test the iPad.  If it now works, turn the firewall back on but weaken it a notch.  Test the iPad again.  Repeat as required.

  • Firefox is unable to connect to the internet but Internet Explorer can.

My Firefox is not loading any websites. When I open Firefox, the home screen comes up (google), but if i try to navigate to any other website it says that it cannot connect. I then tried inernet explorer and it works perfectly. I tried all the options on the Firefox Help page (checking the firewall, proxy..) but it still doesnt work.

From another computer, go to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/, click "Free download" button, click "Save File" button, select your flash drive in "Save as" window. "Firefox Setup 3.6.13.exe" file will be saved in your flash drive.
You just need to insert it in your new computer and double-click on "Firefox Setup 3.6.13.exe" from Windows Explorer and follow instructions.

  • My ipod touch is connected to my wifi, but it will not let me use it. example: i can not get on safari or get on the app store or even itunes. anyone know what to do?

I need help with my ipod touch. it is connected to our wifi. but i still can not get on the app store, itunes, safari or facebook anything that requires wifi. Ive tried resetting everything but still not luck.

I am also having theses problems, I sent my ipod to apple for repair, they sent it back stating the could not recreate the problem. I am on the phone with them as I type.  Not Satisfied.

  • IPOD TOUCH NOT STAYING CONNECTED TO MY WIFI!!!!

my ipod touch wont stay connected to my wifi but my wifi is perfectly good and works for everything else. what do i do??

I would try resetting your Router, leave it off for 30 seconds and then turn it on again.
It may be running alright on your computers because it hasn't had chance to drop the connection yet. So try doing this, once it has fully been reset try connecting again.
Also, if your wi-fi is password protected, try clearing the password and type it in again.
    Hope this helps!
