BACD and hold times for Call Queue

Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to include hold times/wait times for BACD call queues?  Also, anyone run into issues when configuring BACD and the time it takes for it to ring in?  We had an issue previously that where the call would enter the queue, wait 30 seconds or so, and then ring out.  Unless this is normal.
Thanks as always,
HelpDesk

Hi Help Desk,
Its been a while since I configured this and I am not sure if the current versions of CCA allow for this change to take place.
I know on the command line that this is possible, but ultimately it would be better to use CCA to make the changes as I am not sure if it would recognize the change if you did it via CLI.
In the past as an alternative to hold times I did some work around's by pushing the BACD to an AA and putting in there some rudimentary options that would allow a user to go back into the line, but they would loose their position in doing so, but this shouldn't be a big problem.
Also in terms of entering the BACD, I havent see the 30 second delay before so I am not sure what is going on there and I cannot say for that that it is normal operations for it.
Cheers,
David Trad.

  • UCCX - Can I get a report on hold time for one call

Hello, is it possible to report on the hold time for one particular call? We have a customer claiming they were on hold far longer than the agent claims. We are running UCCX 8.5, with CUCM 8.6.
    Thanks,

Hi, it's probably the Agent Detail report you are looking for.
Also, take a look at the reporting guide for UCCX 8.5.

  • If I have manually set "Start Time" and "Stop Time" for songs, and my hard drive is backed up in Time Machine, when files/songs are transferred on new hard drive, will my "Start Time" "Stop Time" options be there?

My Macbook Pro will be going in for reimaging and my hard drive will be wiped, I want to know if all my iTunes preferences will be copied if I have backed them up on Time Machine. Specifically, if I have set certain "Start Time" and "Stop Time" for my songs, and I copy my iTunes library, will these "Start Time" and "Stop Time" options remain or will I have to manually set them one by one once again? I need a reply ASAP! Thanks so much!

As far as I'm aware the start & stop times are stored in the library database, not the media files. If you backup/restore/transfer the whole library then the settings are included. If you create a complete copy of your iTunes folder on another drive you can connect to that copy by holding down option/alt as you start iTunes so you can check that everything is working properly before you send the Macbook away.

Hi, I want to show both the start and stop times for all appointments in my iCal Month view and have not been able to figure out how to do that. Any suggestions? - Dave

I would also like to know how to do this if possible. I want to print month-view schedules with start and end times for events. Thought I'd bump this up to see if anyone has any ideas.

  • Start and end time for a mapping in process flow

We are executing 6 mappings in a process flow. 4 out of 6 run in parallel . The log file created in a control center denotes start and end time for a process flow. But Is there any way to find out how long those individual mappings took ? Is start/end time logged on a mapping level somewhere ?
    Thanks

Can someone tell me how to get the start and end times for each step in a background job?  Table TBTCP only stores the time that the step was saved in a background job.  Table TBTCO stores the times for the entire job and not each individual step.

  • Hold times for Customer Service

I have called THREE times trying to get a hold of someone to transfer my a line to my new account. The first time i was on hold for over 30 minutes, the second over 20 minutes, and the third was over 30 minutes again. So because of the lack of answering your customer service lines I have wasted almost an hour and a half of my day waiting to talk to a human. This is (removed) and I am seriously considering going to another company for my service when my contracts are up!

If anyone hates hold times it's me
With that said, you are not the only one on hold and the reps are busy with other customers.
The reps are not trained to get you off the phone ASAP but rather actually try and fix your issue (It's a 50/50 shot if they do but they try)
That means it is a 10 minute call per customer so eventually calls will get backed up.
Sunday they staff low, Monday is always the most backed up. Throughout the week the hold times will reduce unless you call on lunch hour or something.
This is usually the case with most communications companies, a friend of mine works for T-Mobile and that's how he said it is.
    Good Luck

  • Extremely long hold time for Customer Service

First couple of times I called for help, I got an answer within 15 minutes. Last couple of times it was close to 90 minutes. Today, I have been on hold for almost 2 hours! This is ridiculous from a company as good as Adobe. If I didn't have an open case which was pending Adobe response, I would hang up again and try back. CS is suffering lately and I'm very dissappointed.
I don't appreciate the apparent cut in CS personnel stateside and subsequent outsourcing to India and other foriegn sites.
Tossing in the towel - I cannot afford to hold this long. It's been over 2.5 hours. This kind of wait time is unforgiveable.

You're not alone.  Adobe apologized for the recent downward trend in support this week in a press release and on the website.  Is the issue something technical that we can help with here?
Here's the text of the release:
    Open Letter to Adobe Customers
Adobe is committed to providing the most advanced, innovative products and services in the world. Recently, however, our customers have experienced a level of service that is inconsistent with what they expect and deserve. This is unacceptable and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. We are working diligently — in fact, teams are working around the clock — to resolve these issues. I'd like to thank all our customers who are sharing feedback and giving us the opportunity to respond. We appreciate your loyalty, support, and willingness to make your concerns heard.
Adobe is in the process of transitioning to a new global service provider that will help grow and improve the quality of our customer service worldwide. While our new partner is a recognized leader in service and support solutions, this is a major global transition that includes bringing more than 800 new agents onboard. Clearly this process has not gone as smoothly as we had planned, and we are working to immediately remedy the situation. We are confident that once this transition is completed, we will provide customers with new and better ways to engage with Adobe using their preferred methods, helping to ensure prompt, effective customer service.
The Adobe Customer Care leadership team is monitoring our customers' experiences closely to understand and respond to the challenges you are encountering. If you experience difficulties of any kind, contacting Customer Service in your local region remains the best initial course of action; however, during this transition period, unresolved issues can also be directed to [email protected].
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make this transition and work to improve our service and support operations for customers around the world.

  • Sample-and-hold vi for USB-6251

I want to implement a sample-and-hold circuit on my USB-6251 device.
The input will be an analog voltage waveform.  The output will be that same analog voltage waveform (this is the "sampling" in the sample and hold), with one caveat:   I want to hold the output at a certain level depending upon a digital input (ttl 5V hi or 0V low).  For example, when the digital input cycles hi, I want to take the value of the analog output at that point in time, and continue to output that voltage value until the digital input cycles back low (the "hold" in the sample and hold), at which point the output continues outputing the incoming analog voltage waveform.
I think I should be able to create such a VI using a comparison function, but I cannot quite figure out how to implement it.  Any suggestions?
    thanks!

I would imagine this could be accomplished with the use of a simple true false selector.  In the false case the waveform coming from the Analog Read would be passed on and also into a shift register on the right side of the reading while loop.  This shift register would then also be the true case of the selector.  There would then be a producer consumer style structure where this output array would be fed into a DAQmx write.

  • Execution time for Call Library Function Node

I am experimenting with the Call Library Function Node block in LabVIEW and am curious if it should be running faster than what I'm seeing.  For testing purposes, I have compiled and transfered to my RT target the .out file from the KB article http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/81D1172E3C28A5E4862575CC0076A230 (I'm using the vxworks 6.1 version).  The function in the .out file just multiplies two inputs together, adds a constant, and returns the result.  I have put this inside a 1 kHz timed loop with a commanded period of 1 ms and via the Ticks(ms) block and shift registers I calculate the amount of time per loop execution.  This process is apparently taking 5 ms per cycle and to me that seems slow.  Is that roughly the correct execution time for this kind of setup?  I will attach my test .vi file.
    What I'm using:
    Windows 7
    LabVIEW 2009 SP1
    NI-cRIO 9024 with NI-RIO 3.4.0

First off, the way you are doing timing isn't necessarily accurate because you don't know when the tick count VI is being called. For example, if it gets called on one iteration after your call library node executes, and the next iteration it gets called before the CLFN it executes, the subtraction doesn't include the call of the CLFN so you aren't seeing the true time it is taking for the dll to be called.
Where it says "error" on the top left hand corner of your loop. left click and choose previous iteration timing. Also, do you have the ability to choose a 1 Mhz clock? Are you sure it's actually being run on the RT and not on your PC? Running it on the PC would definitely make it difficult to execute at a 1 kHz rate.

  • Custom high and low times for square waves

Hi, is there a way to create a square wave that has an incremental HIGH pulse width and a fixed LOW pulse width?
Sorry I'm quite new with labview, any help is appreciated, thanks!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi GBPC,
My name is Jack and I work at National Instruments UK.
I understand you are trying to output a square wave signal with a fixed low time and variable high time in labVIEW.
The reply above works great if you want to use the signal internally. Alternatively if you are trying to output the signal with a piece of internal or external Data Acquisition (DAQ) hardware you will want to use LabVIEWs DAQmx Tool palette.
I have created a quick example below for you to look at that should help you come to a solution. It uses the DAQmx VIs to create and initialize a channel and then runs it in a loop with controls to change the high and low times using a property node.
    Hope this helps
