Back ground ( Call Transaction) while running locking Tcode

When iam running Call Transaction in background , suppose other user open ( it is giving popup like another user locked) transaction at that time i am getting created records sucessfully even it is not running Call trransaction can any body help me out.

HI,
when ever you are program is running that transaction for a specific order and other user tries to access this transaction and opens the same order it will give this error.

i have checked every thing still it is giving me the same error.
RFC connections are working fine,even program ids are difined correctly in visual administrator..
I think i m missing something...

ABAP dump while running the tcode MIGO

I am getting the abap dump while running the tcode MIGO when I searched I got two relevant sap notes but our functional team said that its not applicable in our case.

Hi Raj,
1. If the attribute change run is triggered through process chain the job name is 'BI_PROCESS_ATTRIBCHAN'
2. If the change run is triggered from RSA1> tools?Appl Heirarchy/Attribute changerun then the job name starts with BI_STRU*
3. If you trigger the program RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN from SE38 then the job name will be RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN

Uploading XL file using call Transaction and running in back ground

Hi all,
I am updating the T-code VA01 using call TRansaction method ....
i am uploading the file is XL file for that i m using the FM ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE.
But if execute my program in the back ground This FM is giving Dump because it can not Execute in Back GRound...
Plz let me know any FM to upload data from Excel file Both from foreground and back ground....

HI...,,
When u run any program in Background, it will not have any contacts with the presentation server.... You cannot upload a presentation server file..
But u can use the Application server file...
SO first store this excel file's data in Application server using the transaction CG3Z and then use the Open data set and read dataset to upload the application server file !!!

My Prompt back ground colour changes during run time in Client / Server Env

Dear Friends, 
 My Prompt of text items are changing its back ground colour according to the Text item's back colour during runtime. This doesn't look good. My look and feel of my application gets spoiled due to this. I tried with Visual Attribute (both prompt & Text item) but of no use. I don't want to use text label as I want to change the prompt during run time. Please help me.

One of the custom tcode which calls the standard tcode FB60.
If we give the last month date in payment date, it should shows the 'Due date is in the past' message and if we give next year as payment date i.e, more than 365 days, then show 'Baseline date foe pmnt is 700 days after the document date : check'.. These messages are coming when we call the standard tcode FB60 directly.
But if call it in the custom tcode, these messages are not appear.

Calling Spool while running in Foreground

Hi,
If I run a classical report in background, the output of this automatically goes to the Spool, which I can see using SP01/SP02.
But, the user wants to send the output of the report while running in Foreground too.
Customer's Says: "in the foreground, the user must be prompted to send the output to the spool".
Please help me with the logic.

I am trying to execute the tcode EASISI with a varient.....

When I run with these parameters assigned,the Simulation is getting terminated with the message

I also got the same error .We have resolved it thru Changing the include ZXBI1U08 . The code select * into table idberchz_1 should be replaced with select * into CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF table idberchz_1.

'Call Transaction' on same data repeated causes it to lock

Hi,
Has anyone come across a case where you use CALL TRANSACTION repeatedly on a tcode with the same input and sometimes you end up having a locked data?
I am calling CN22 repeated with the request to change the same network and I end up having locked data for no particular reason. Do I need to put a PAUSE between the call transaction?

yes it is possible. In fact if the transaction calls a FM in asyncronous mode (that locks an object), it may happend that when the statement CALL TRANSACTION ends, the async.FM has not release the lock yet.
you can ty to do the following (if you know the name of the locked object).
call transaction ...
* loop until the object is unlocked
do.
call function 'ENQUEUE_<object name>'
exporting
 mode = 'E'
 <object key>.
if sy-subrc = 0.
 exit.
endif.
enddo.

How to handle the call transaction in method of a custom business object

There is a custom report " RPTCORAPP" for approving leaves . As per my requirement i have develop a copy of leave workflow and for approval process i have call "RPTCORAPP" in Custom method of custom object. i have made a transaction for this custom report for approving attendances. I am calling this method though call transaction statement within method.
Problem: while approving the attendance workitem is not disappearing from the portal. Problem is due to call transaction statement.
               once workitem come to the user, user click on it. control goes to the report, which display all the leave to approve on
               the portal.
               If after approving/ rejecting attendance user close the screen.workflow remain in the "process" status.Control wont come back after call transaction statement in the method.
             At the same time if user clicks on back button inspite of closing the screen. it is working fine. workitem disappears from the portal.
How to handle the scenarion. if after approving/rejecting, i want the control to come back to the NEXT STATEMENT after call transactionstatement in my method.
Please help it out........:)

Call Transaction in background mode

Hi everyone,
What I am currently trying to do is to perform a 'call transaction' while forcing the 'background processing' mode even when the user is running the program in online mode; this allows me to retrieve a lot more messages that are useful to the user than the messages generated in online mode.
As long as I have seen there is no field for that in the options table that can be passed to the 'call transaction' sentence. The only way to see that behavior while in online mode is by 'playing back' a recording thru the SHDB transaction and checking the 'Simulate background' option.
My first attempt was to set the SY-BATCH flag before doing the call transaction but it doesn't work, the flag seems to reset itself with the correct value during the call.
Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.

FB05 CALL TRANSACTION BACKGROUND MODE ERROR

                 I have a recording for FB05 transaction and I using call transaction to run it ..problem is its running fine in Foreground and not in background ...I am getting an error in screen..

Actually I know the reason that is that screen has Additional selections in which I have to select the radio-button for Document number as by default always None would be selected. How to achieve this ?? Its urgent please...

Waht ever you want to do do it manually.
EX;
Say you are unalbe to record radion button click.
In your program read recording code carefully and get confirm where to add your code. Now on your tcode(FB05) click on F1 help and get the screen field name .Ex: T041T-AUGLT pass thsi to below perform
This is to put cursor on radio button
PERFORM bdc_field       USING 'BDC_CURSOR'
                                     'T041T-AUGLT'.
This to check
PERFORM bdc_field       USING 'ITOB-INVNR'
                                      'X'.
In above code you can write conditions ,like based on some conditons particular radio button has to check.

Weird noise on lcd while running XP?

Whenever i put the brightness of the screen in between the middle, a small buzzy noise starts to come out
(like beeeeeeeeeeeeep) in back of the lid while running windows xp. If i was to place the brightness all the way up, it becomes normal. Is this totally normal?
It isn't something that's limiting what im doing, but it is noticeable when your in a very quiet room. Please let me know if it is normal or not, thanks.

It could be the processor heating up as it processes the data required to set up the system, which is normal. Once you are inside the OS, use a program called SMCFanControl and see if you are able to change the nature of the sound by changing various fan speeds.
