Back page security check...

I'm using Safari 3.x and have been using it for several months now. It seems recently that almost every time I hit the "previous' page arrow, I get a security popup asking me if I "really want to return do that page". I believe this is some kind of security setting that I would like to have go away IMMEDIATELY. I'm getting very tired of have to check the box before Safari will return to the previous page.
Is there anyway to turn this warning off? I really don't get the reason for it to even exist as I only get it if I'm going back to a page I just was on. I can understand something like this if it was a warning that I'm about to go on a NEW page that may have some kind of security flaw.
While I don't care for Safari 4.x, I would reinstall it in a NY minute if it doesn't have this stupid warning popup.

Try deleting this file. com.apple.Safari.plist
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag that file from the Preferences folder to the Trash, empty the Trash and restart your Mac.

I am facing a similar kind of problem. I am using :P101_USERNAME only in login page to check for user name and password. I have not used it in any of the further pages.
But i am still getting the error "Access denied by Page security check". Please suggest me some solution.

I have an authorization scheme that I'm using, and I'd like for it to redirect to the login page when authorization fails instead of displaying the standard error screen. How can I do that?
Also, is it possible to have page not found errors redirect to the login screen?

In the PL/SQL code of your authorization scheme, you can always do:
apex_application.g_unrecoverable_error := true;
owa_util.redirect_url('f?p=&APP_ID.:1');
return true;
This will redirect to page 1 (via the login page and then to page 1 after authentication, so change '1' to whatever you want).
About "page not found" errors, no.

I think that it is something wrong with kernel and graphic drivers but i'm not able to solve it from the beginning of using of Arch by me.
I'm not so sure this issue is software-related only because in my case it seems the laptop screen enters power-saving mode (10-min timeout) on its own without any events logged (as shown by dmesg) so my next thought was OK, I'm going to get rid of this issue disabling the screen power-saving timeout in the BIOS and set it to never power down or something like that and from then on managing power mode manually; ie: when I want to power down I will just use systemctl suspend/hibernate which work fine ... problem is: there are no related options in my BIOS for such timeout.
The only timeouts I have are in /etc/systemd/logind.conf set to 30min (#IdleActionSec) (commented) by default so these are not in effect because the screens goes blank after 10m which is less than the (default) 30m in logind. Maybe setting loggind to 9m (un-commented) to catch the event before the machine-default one ?

Access denied by Application security check

I see that others have gotten this error when logging in but I'm getting this during an application install.
I have an application in workspace A that I exported. I created workspace B, using the same parsing schema and the same workspace the schema assignments. In workspace A, I exported as user ADMIN who has Administrator and Developer rights. The same user with the same rights was used to import and install the application into workspace B. The import into workspace B is successful. For the import, I use the same parsing schema assignment and I let the install utility assign a new application ID. It apparently chose app ID 115 because after a few minutes into the install I get the "Access denied by Application security check" and at the top of the page it says "Application 115 installed".
To make matters worse, when I log back into workspace A, I see that application 115 has just been installed into THAT workspace.

That's weird. What version of Application Express? I would suggest using a different user (not ADMIN) for export and import, as I'm sure what you experienced is due to a bug related to the privileges of the ADMIN user.

Could it be possible that is had nothing to do with remote/local browser but could it be that your remote browser was firefox and the local browser was IE since your running 2003?
Then it would be consistent with Rene's explanation and my expericence:
- when using the apex_admin login you get acces denied by Application Security Check
- when using the workspace login your unable to change password: notice somehow apex 'looses' the user it's changing the password for. It should show ADMIN and it is showing null. That probably why you get the incorrect current password message as it validates agianst user null.
I'm having this same problem and the only thing that solves it is just using IE instead of firefox. FF3.0.1 is giving the same error you describe locally as well as remote? After I have changed the password I can simply go back and use FF3.0.1 again
@Scott: could this be a incompatibility issue with firefox?

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312

Can I point out that the title of this thread is "can pages spell check in Spanish?" The title didn't limit the question to one particular version.
Do you not realize that for everyone who writes a post about their problem there are many other people who simply search the archives to get their problem addressed? Instead of posting a brand new question they search the archives and solve their own problems without ever being detected. The lurkers as they are often called.
Take me for example, I was searching this very issue today, came across this very post, and the solution you offered back in January of 2012 didn't work for me. So, I poked around in Pages until I found the current solution to my current version of Pages. And, I added it to the discussion for the sake of others like me who might find the January 2012 solution not workable for them either. So, they wouldn't have to poke around and work it out for themselves.
I hope this is not how you treat everyone who contributes to the knowledge base. Try to be a little patient if you will with the ones of us who don't hang around here day in and day out. For 'Read Only', I meant the application was imported with build status of 'Run application only'.
I know how to export the application, but I don't know how to include all the database objects within the export. I am still trying to learn that part. Could you give me some quick steps, or tell me where to read in the user guide.
More details about my issue --
I created a user 'Viewer' without developer or administrator permission using admin account. I imported my application as Run application only, and I try to use Viewer to log in to 'Application Express Login' page, which requires workspace, username, and password. And this is where I got 'Access denied by Application security check' message.
I am thinking should I use 'Viewer' to log into the ''Application Express Login' page at all? Should this user be at least a developer?
One last question: Where can I find this message 'Access denied by Application security check'? It does not seems important to mess with it, but I am just curios about where does this message come from?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

B2B-51924: Message failed the security check

I am trying to configure security in B2B.
I did manage to supply a key store for my Host, which I presume is used for signing an outbound message.
Is this correct?
My trading partner is sending a signed message on which I get a "B2B-51924: Message failed the security check"
Where am I supposed to configure the credentials of my trading partner?
On the profile tab of my trading partner there is a section Key Store, but there are no fields to be filled...is that right?

How do I change back from 'Secure Erase'?

How do I change back from Secure Erase to regular Erase or Empty Trash? I somehow switched it and it takes hours. I want to be able to change back and forth between Secure Erase and regular Erase.

We have an Oracle 9iAS R2 v9.0.2.2 installation on Linux (Red Hat Advanced Server 2.1). We have installed PatchSet 2703110, 2581587 and 2842923.
Oracle9i Reports version is: 9.0.2.2.0
iAS and Infrastructure are on separate hosts.
Trying to run Reports demo test.jsp or test.rdf we get the following message:
javax.servlet.jsp.JspException: REP-56071: Security check failed with error message: Error code30001 - Cannot access the server:rep_dkipcias

Found on Metalink the following Note: 216847.1
This recommends to comment out the security and destination tags in ORACLE_MIDDLETIER_HOME/report/conf/<repserver>.conf file
After commenting them out reports works fine.
BUT
at the end of the note there is a note which states that "Commenting out the security tag removes the integration of the reports server and portal."
We need reports integration with Portal. We need SSO as well.
Could you give any workaround for this problem?
PS.: I have red Note:213171.1, Note:216118.1, http://otn.oracle.com/products/reports/htdocs/getstart/whitepapers/securing9i.pdf and BUG:2645629
None of them gave any solution for the problem
