Back side printing in Script..
Hi Experts,
In script i need to print back side(which is common for every page) on each page.
For that i created FRONT, BACK pages.
FRONT Next page BACK and Print mode is 'D'.
BACK Next page FRONT, Print mode blank and no main window in this page.
Now what happens is it is not printing the back side of the very last page. Suppose 10 pages are there then it is printing the back side of first 9 pages but not for 10th page. If only one page is there it not printing back side at all..
Please let me know the solution..
Regards,
Suresh.

Printing LAST page in SAP script on the back side.
Hi ,
I have a problem with the printing of the LAST page on the reverse side of the form, when done with a vendor.
At a time we print many vendors together.
So, when done with printing of a vendor it needs to print his address on last page, reverse side(address)
Next will be followed by another vendor details.
I cannot give 'D' for the first page because it would fail if the form flows more than 2 pages.
is there any way of triggering the LAST page in SAP Script when it done with printing of one vendor.
any help would be highly appreciated.
regards.Hi ,
In Script PO i have to print 'Terms and Conditions' text only on the back side of last page of the PO.
Presently script contains THREE pages ( FIRST, NEXT, TERMS).
FIRST with attributes :
next page as NEXT , Print mode T.
NEXT with attributes :
next page as NEXT and print mode T
TERMS with attributes :
next page as ' '.
I Created 'TERMS AND CONDITION' window. For TERMS page i selected 'TERMS AND CONDITION' window only.
So page window of 'TERMS' is 'TERMS AND CONDITION' and i included standard text in 'TERMS AND CONDITION' window.
If PO contains 9 pages( that means MAIN WINDOW data flows up to 9th page with footer also ).
So i have to print standard text(Terms and conditions) back side of 9th page only not on all pages.
So total PO contians 9 pages with 10 prints.
Please help to solve the issue

Hi all,
I have to print hardcode text on back side of each page of invoice.
how to do this?
i have two pages , one is for invoice print and other have hardcode text.
thanksHi ,
If it is a Script,
Select the Page and in the "Print Attributes" tab which appears at the bottom of the screen,U can select the Print mode as either 'S' for simple,'D' for Duplex etc.
and if it is Smartform,
select the Page and in the "output options" tab, you will find the Print mode where you can give the same options.
Thanks.

Print Terms and conditions on Back side in Smart Forms
Hi All,
How can we print Terms and conditions on back side of last page. we are using SAP Smart Forms to print Packing Slips now we need to print the terms and conditions on back side of last page. who can we do this ... ?
I have created 2 pages first page and Last page i have selected last page as next page for First page and vice vis and selected duplex printing for first page print option.
Now the problem is the terms and conditions are printed on all the pages but not on the last page. for example if i have 5 pages then all the 4 pages are printed on front and back but the last page(5) is printed only on the front side but not on the back and if we print only 1 page then only front page is printed and no back side is printed.
please let me know what else need to be done in order to print the terms and conditions on the back side of last page.
Thanks,
Praveen Chindam.Hi,
There is quite a simple solution. We have exactly the same requirements for our invoices.
Create 3 pages in the Smartforms, e.g. FRONT, BACK and LAST.
FRONT has print mode "D" (duplex) and next page "BACK"
BACK has print mode " " (unchanged) and next page "FRONT"
LAST has print mode " " (unchanged) and next page " " (blank)
BACK and LAST are identical apart from that, and do not have a MAIN window - they just contain the T&C in a secondary window.
At the very end of the MAIN window on the page FRONT, insert the command NEW PAGE <LAST>.
This will give you a print out that is
FRONT, BACK, FRONT, BACK,....FRONT, BACK, FRONT, LAST. -
Printing multiple files in duplex mode: second on the back side
Hi,
I am having a strange problem. I use Snow Leopard on a Mac Book Pro. Typically, I use
duplex printing. This works fine. The only issue is: if I print two different documents and the back side is
free after the first page, then the second document is started on the BACK SIDE of the first.
This is of cause VERY annoying. I tried various options. Both in the print menu and using CUPS. They had no effect.
This happens both at home (using a SAMSUNG CLP 550) and at work (through a windows printer server) to a Dell Multifunction printer.
Now, I am basically out of options. Does anybody have a hint what this good be and how to repair duplex printing?
Thanks
KlausHi,
thanks a lot for helping. It would be pity if this can not be corrected. After all this is no magic.
(Regarding Windows: my printer at home is certainly not high-end...
and the machine at the office was cheapest we could get from Dell with the functionality.
But this is a side issue, as I want to go Mac only. - I am still running continuously a Windows-VM and
I want to get rid of this. Would be a pain to do printing with Windows always.)
Inserting pages is not possible for PDFs. - And this is actually a major part of my prints..
Cheers

Office Jet 8000 -- Duplex Printing -- back side upside down
When printing a booklet on my Office Jet 8000 A809, using duplex printing, the back side of each page is upside down. Operating System is Windows Vista. I'm sure there is a simple solution, but I can't find it. HELP.
Choose the type of duplex - you probably have Short-edge binding enabled. Change it to Long-edge binding.

I am employed by HP -
Trifold brochure printing Lexmark back side is upside down.
Trying to print a trifold brochure using Pages and a Lexmark Pro705. The back side is printing upside down using the auto 2 side function. Can't figure out how to get the second page to print properly for the trifold to fold correctly.
2 sided functions are set up for portrait pages not landscape.
To counter what the Lexmark is doing, you will have to rotate everything on the second side 180° or do the printing manually and rotate the one sided sheets to suit in a second pass.

Need to Print "Terms and conditions" on every back side of the page
Hi All,
i have requirement like need to print "Terms and Conditions" text on every back side of page using adobe form.
i have tried options like created created 4 pages in master page and defined flow content page1->page3, page2->page4(terms and conditions). but when we execute less items of the billing number got the 3 pages i.e page1 having item data, remaining 2 pages displays the "terms and conditions" text.
if any worked on the same kind of requirement please let me know and it would be great helpful to me.
Thanks,
RamanaHi,
One of the option is that you can create 3 pages in the Smartforms, e.g. A, B and C.
A has print mode "D" (duplex) and next page "B"
B has print mode " " (unchanged) and next page "A"
C has print mode " " (unchanged) and next page " " (blank)
B and C do not have a MAIN window - they just contain the Terms & Conditions in a secondary window.
At the end of the MAIN window on page A, insert the command NEW PAGE <C>.
This will give you a print out that will be in a sequence
A,B,A,B,...A,B,A,C.

Hi,
I need help in printing smartform in both side. it has to print terms and conditions on back side of page after printing main window for each page.Hi Praveen,
Try this logic!!!
Create total 3 pages. For example
Page 1 (items page)
Page 2 & page 3 (terms & conditions)
page1 (next page) = page2
page2 (next page ) = page1
page3 (next page) = blank
Now In your main window in page 1, just after the table create a command and give next page as page3.
I hope this will help you to close this thread.
Appreciate if found helpful.
Cheers!!!!
