Back to Back SO - removing reservations

We have setup Back to Back in TEST and would like to use it but can't find out how to unlink the PO from the SO if we need to make changes.
We have 2 Sales Orders due to ship the 15th of the month. The B2B material comes in for one early. The other customer calls and wants their shipment early. How can we swap out the PO? The material?
Also, I have not been able to have an ATO item pick from inventory if we have on hand?
Back to Back works great unless there are exceptions - and there always are. We can't figure out how to handle the exceptions.

Sales order 1=Po 1
Sales Order 2= Po 2
Once two POs are created, you receive against PO 1 and PO 2 is still open.
Since you have received against PO1, SO1 line status changes to Awainting Shipping and reservations exists.
Unreserve the quantity against that line. Status should change back to Supply Eligible.
Now open the SO2 and navigate to the reservation Details from actions.
Change the supply source to Inventory and enter quantity. This will change the status from PO open to Awaiting Shipping. Now you reserved quantity received against PO1 to SO2.
Now you receive against the PO2.
Open the SO1 (for which you unreserved the quantity), navigate to the reservation details and reserve quantity against inventory source.
Status of SO1 line changes to Awaiting Shipping.
You can ship both the orders.

I was hoping for a hotkey option or button on the toolbar to load images for a single page for a single session at a time. Turning off images really saves bandwidth and speeds load time on websites, but sometimes I'd like to view the images on a page, but only for this session. Is that possible, or do I have to go to the Exceptions page and allow a specific domain or page to load images and then go back and remove that domain or page when I'm done?

If the camera burns in the date/time stamp, then there is not much that can be done.
If you need to eliminate that, then the best would be to apply the Effect>Motion>Scale, to enlarge the footage, until the date/time stamp is effectively cropped off by the Frame Size. You might want to look into Effect>Motion>Position, to "move" the date/time stamp closer to an edge.
The other method is tedious, and requires ideally Adobe AfterEffects. There, you could use the Clone Tool, to "paint out" the date/time stamp, if there is enough clean background to do so.
A variation on that method would be to Export/Share as a Filmstrip and Import that into Photoshop (if one had Photoshop Extended, there are other formats, that would work too), and then Frame by Frame, use the Clone Tool to remove that image.
Though not a way to remove it, you can also replace it with a Title, that occupies the area of the date/time stamp, and just cover it up.
If the camera allows you to turn that "feature" OFF, you would want to do so for newer footage.

/private/tmp/tmpinstallmc.dmg keeps coming back after removing Genio

Hi,
A few weeks ago, I woke my Mac up to find a security dialogue telling me that an Installation Helper wanted to install files and needed my amin password. Naturally, I was suspicious and did not enter it. I then noticed a new Installer on my desktop, hit Get Info to find it directed to /private/tmp/tmpinstallmc.dmg. A quick Google search told me this is usually Genio adware and I found a few sites with removal instructions. After finding some (but not all) of the Genio files mentioned and restarting, I assumed it was done. Yet the popup continues to show up every morning, along with the installer and .dmg file! Where else could this be coming from, and how can I track down whatever file is generating this annoying piece of junk? Thanks in advance.

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it changes nothing. It doesn't send or receive any data on the network. All it does is to generate a human-readable report on the state of the computer. That report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents to me or anyone else.
You should be wondering whether you can believe me, and whether it's safe to run a program at the behest of a stranger. In general, no, it's not safe and I don't encourage it.
In this case, however, there are a couple of ways for you to decide whether the program is safe without having to trust me. First, you can read it. Unlike an application that you download and click to run, it's transparent, so anyone with the necessary skill can verify what it does.
You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of it have been posted on this website thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. Any one of the millions of registered users could have read the script and raised the alarm if it was harmful. Then I would not be here now and you would not be reading this message.
Nevertheless, if you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
4. Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
☞ Paste into the window of another application.
☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.

5. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
8. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
9. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
10. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
11. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be a series of messages in the Terminal window like this:

The messages won't be spaced equally apart in time, but they give a rough indication of progress. Wait for the final message
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the last message you saw. No harm will be done.
12. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
13. When you post the results, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "You are not authorized to post." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

DNS: reverse zone comes back after remove and some follow up issues

hello community,
after installation of OSL i had setup dns with a primary zone.
the automatically created reverse zone for my internal network is fine.
whenever i enter a new system the default for the ip address is 10.0.0.1 and the reverse zone is automatically setup for this ip address.
whenever i remove this reverse zone it come back automatically after saving the dns configuration.
with this come some follow up error.
server admin claim that there is no name server configured for this reverse zone.
when i configure it the configured name server entry vanished after clicking the save button.
when i try to configure settings i can not. i get the error message that the configuration can not be saved cause of the missing name server for the reverse zone i am not using ....
in the log file i can see that the file for reverse zone can not be found.
when i check the dns configuration in the shell i can see that the reverse zone file is not there.
someone has an idea
- whats the best way to fix this?
- why is the gui still showing the reverse zone i am not using?
- is the dns configuration also in the ldap db with wrong entries?

Clean out your zone definitions, and start over. Server Admin is unfortunately seemingly fussy around the authoritative server stuff and the order stuff gets entered, and it seems you can get into a sequence where it doesn't have what it needs. I had encountered couple of cases when I was in a similar state as you're in now, and I ended up clearing and deleting the primary zone and re-adding the zone and the hosts, being careful to add the authoritative server as the first step of adding a zone.

How can I get back a removed icon to the screen ?

I removed my Safari Icon accidently and Si have no idea how i can get it back ion the screen?

Have you checked your Folders... Utilites is a good one to check...

Settings > General > Restrictions
If no joy...

I'm running ZEN32SP3. I'm just getting started with GPO in WinXP. I
inadvertently removed the desktop tab in the display settings and can't seem
to get it back. Can anyone help me out?

FontBook corrupted ? adding back Fonts (Removed), Fonts Disabled

Hi everyone,
similar to many other people i got some of my fonts screw up after MS Office installation.
I tried to restore default fonts in FontBook, but it claimed that some fonts are missing.
There are no fonts in my ~/Library folders: Fonts, Fonts (Removed), Fonts Disabled.
However, there some in /Library: Fonts (Removed), Fonts Disabled which I would like to bring back.
So the question is - how to do it?
In /Library/Fonts Disabled i see Arial, Timew New Roman, Verdana, Wingdings. I guess all of them were disabled by MS installation
and then replaced by MS versions.
My FontBook however does not show me those (e.g. I see no Times New Roman at all, so I can't re-enable it).
I suppose FontBook database is corrupted, so I should restart with Shift in safe mode and then FontBook should be fine, right?
What do I do with /Library/Fonts (Removed) to bring in back in a propper way? Will FontBook also be able to see those and propose their restoration?
I would appreciate if someone could say with confidence what to do step by step to add Fonts (Removed) and Fonts Disabled back in use. I don't have a TimeMachine running (yet, plan to do it soon), and I use Mac for work, so i would prefare to minimize risks of messing the whole thing up myself

Goto Versiontracker.com and download "Linotype FontExplorer X"
Move your Font Book preferences from your (Library/Preferences) folder and then make an archive of Font Book (Control-click, create archive in the Finder)
Delete the original.
Now, install/launch FontExplorer X.
There is an option to clean font caches during install - do that and your Mac will reboot.
Now, there is an option under the tools menu in FontExplorer X that sets your system font folders back to defaults - do that.
You should be good to go. FontExplorer X is free and an excellent font manager.

I have few green colour citrus fruits images taken over the conveyor belt which is of blue colour. Now i need to extract the friut image with original colour and the back round blue conveyor belt has to be removed. I tried a lot but i couldn't finish it successfully....
My project is find the hue value of each citrus fruits and need to segregate the fruit based on hue value.. for that i need to get the green colour citrus fruits extracted from the image.....

Adding back a removed disk

I am using the FAS 3240, and have just got it setup and with 2 shelves connected to it. I am testing out the command line commands I was using the disk command, and used the disk remove command on one disk, just to test the command. The disk is showing as now failed. How can I now add this disk back, is there a command to undo the disk remove command as I want to add the disk back.We are using ontap version 8.0.2 mode 7.

use command disk show -n this show disk unassing, and used command disk assign id_disk this asing disk to filer ownership regards!!!

Backing up-removing Movie Files

Okay, I almost give up. iTunes is a mess and my daily podcast updates and syncs aren't happening. In fact, I barely use iTunes anymore. I do miss the podcast updates.
I've tried virtually every step to fix this problem excepet to rebuild my library (500 videos 50Gb, 12K songs and 75Gb) from scratch. I just cannot spend the time to reconstruct and add in the ratings, etc.
Here's the question:
I know I can back up and export to xml the entire library. Since the source problem may be tied to video files, is there any way to export or backup just the video or movies part of the library? This would allow me to remove movie files and then, hopefully, once Apple fixes the problem, put them back with itunes library information intact.
One other related question, will I have strip off podcast videos also or will it be okay to leave those(since they are generally smaller files than movie videos)?
Thoughts from those that have removed video files and have gotten their iTunes performance back would be appreciated.

I have burned video files to DVD then deleted them from iTunes. 10 discs neeeded, no performance change in iTunes at all. Putting them back was simple as adding to library again. For me, iTUnes is slow when accessing video files. When not accessing video files iTunes is fine.
I don't rate or use playcount for videos so that is not a problem for me.
What is the podcast updating issue?

I made the mistake of installing windows on my MacBook air and can't open in lion, anyone know how to get lion back and remove windows?

I recently installed windows 7 onto my MacBook air- big mistake, I cannot work out how to get back to OSX Lion and get rid of windows for good, anybody help?

Select the Lion disk icon from which you want to boot.
Click on the arrow button below the icon.

MF4150 has a paper jam...I wanted to know if I could easily open back to remove paper

I pulled about a third of the paper sheet out from the front, but the rest is farther into the machine. Does this model have an easy way to access the back that I'm not seeing? Or do I need to hire a techy to come?

ok thanks for the reply yeah there has to be a problem with how my mac is reading the keyboard because not once since I have had my macbook have I ever dropped it. my macbook keeps beeping like I am typing in the wrong command and sometime it just types random characters without me even touching the keyboard and while doing so it will beep because the wrong command is being hit as if a ghost is on my mac. the only thing is I hope apple will fix it because I think this could be happing do to using it a lot as I use my macbook to do a lot of video editing and uploading videos on youtube but I read what the applecare plan fixes and it says it will fix my mac if the hardware on my mac stops working and that is pretty much what my problem is with my mac is that the hardware on it is not working properly anymore. I have treated my mac with the best care possible since I have had it as I have spent good money on it when I bought it. I will just call apple and tell them the problem that I am having and hope they will fix it back to the way it was before this problem started. only thing is that I have to drive an hour to an apple store to get it fixed as where I live there is not one apple store in site other than a best buy that sells apple computers. I will just leave my macbook off until I can get it fixed as I hope apple will fix it because I am not sure if it is a defect problem or a problem from using it a lot like a ware and tare due to being used a lot.

Disabling typekit and timestamp, coming back after removing them with extension manager! annoying, help

Just updated to Yosemite and installed creative cloud. I had time stamp for a long time, but didn't use it and it was fine. Now it pops up and is annoying, so i removed the extension of timestamp and typeset yesterday and when i started my computer today it poped up again. Is that a daily occurrence or am i doing something wrong.

You must have selected a pre-defined extension set from the dropdown box under the search box by accident. So extension Manager enables/disables some extensions according to the rule of the pre-defined extension set automatically. With the pre-defined extension set active, you can't enable/disable any extension. The extension set feature is a convenient way for users to define multiple configurations so as to facilitate his/her work. For users who don't need extension set feature, we defined "Customized Set" and make it as the default set. So please select "Customized Set" in the dropdown box then you can enable whatever extensions you like.

How to mark termination back dated removing future payroll

We have a case which had to be terminated on 08-august-2012 but due to hr mistake it had been done, However his salary of August and September has also been run in HRMS, now we have decided to delete record of both payroll by using assignment Process results under the View menu, so we can mark his termination on actual date without any hurdles.
What do you suggest?

You should be able to safely terminate (end employment) for this person.
Set Actual Termination Date to the termination date
Set the Last Standard Process date to a date after the last payroll run
Set the Final Process Date to a date after the Last Standard Process date
You will be cautioned about future payroll actions. This should be okay, as long as your termination is saved without error.
