"back to school 2012" redeem card for $100

I bought my mac last July and got this redeem card. But I left the U.S. a month later and I haven't got a chance to use that card. It seems that this card is only valid on U.S. itunes store, which means I can use it only when I am back to the U.S.
My questions are:
1. Does this card have a time limit for me to use that? Or the remainder in this card is available forever?
2. If I perchase an app which is not free on mac using this card, will my iphone and ipad also get this app for free synchronizedly via the same Apple ID?

I didn't receive my back to school 2012 gift card

I ordered a MBP Retina through the online education store on July 1 which comes a free $100 back to school gift card. The next day I received a shippment notification that says the gift card has shipped on July 2 and I will receive it on July 6. The problem is that it's been more than one week and I still didn't receive my gift card, and Apple has charged me $100 on my credit card. I have no idea what is going on and where my gift card is.
p.s. the carrier is DHL express, and there is no tracking number for the gift card

Just called the Apple customer service this morning, they said there is a delay in the shipping and the estimated delivery time is inaccurate. The gift card should arrive by the end of this week or next Monday, if not, they will just send me the redeem code via email. They also said the $100 that has been charged on my credit card will be deducted from the price of the MBP Retina eventually.
Just gonna wait and see what will happen next and Thanks for the help.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your iPhone then try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and select 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

iTunes gift cards are only valid on accounts based in the country in which the card was issued - so if you have a US account then you can only use US gift cards. Do you know anybody in the country where you bought it from that you could sell or give it to ? Or you could try selling it on a site such as eBay.

Problem solved! Apparently you need to go to where you credit card is set up, and enter the credit there.

I apologise in advance if I have posted this in the wrong section.
My step-mother recently visited the US for holiday and bought me a brand new iPad 3 from the apple store as a present because I am starting university in England in September. This was all about 2 weeks ago.
I recently found out that my situation meets the requirements to get a free $50 USD iTunes card to spend on apps for university (which I would find incredibly usefull!) and so I would like to know how I can get this card?

Sorry, but you probably can't. The US program only applies to those who are enrolled or enrolling in a US university, so you can't apply for the US back-to-school program (and couldn't use the US-issued gift card in the UK anyway) and I believe that the UK program requires that you purchase from the UK Apple Store (the US program does). You can call the UK Apple Store and ask if there's any way a US-purchased iPad would qualify for the UK back-to-school program, but it's not likely.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if the article doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
If you really want to put the money back onto the card, it also requires contacting Apple. Use the form.

Make sure that the card you are trying to redeem is from the same country as the store you are trying to redeem in. For example, iTunes USA cards can only be used in the iTunes USA Store, not in any other country's iTunes Store.

So i redeemed an Itunes card. Then proceeded to add purchases to my wishlist.
Time to cash out and i can't find a way to use the redeemed credit. Only option available
is my credit card on file. Does anyone know a way?

Hi, does anyone know how much time we have to use the "back to school" Apple iTune card(50$)?

iTunes cards do not expire. If you lose it, though, then just like cash it's gone, so you'll want to redeem the card into your account as soon as practical.

Hi there, new here, so in general to those who have the Back-to-school voucher that gives you $100 of apple 'money' to spend on apps. I was wondering when does it expire generally from activation? I've lost my little booklet so i dont have the expire date. Also, does my Apple account tells me when my apple 'money' runs out? Thanks!

The gift card does not expire, though I'd suggest redeeming it soon or you risk losing it; if lost it cannot be replaced. Once redeemed in the iTunes Store, the balance will be shown in iTunes whenever you're connected to and logged into your iTunes Store account or the Mac App Store.
