Back to School card

Hi, does anyone know how much time we have to use the "back to school" Apple iTune card(50$)?

iTunes cards do not expire. If you lose it, though, then just like cash it's gone, so you'll want to redeem the card into your account as soon as practical.

Back to school card is not working

Last week, I went to the apple store, Because my back to school card is not working.
And the clerk helped me to solve that the problem.
He said i will receive the mail from apple customer service.
From last week until today. I did not receive any mail from apple customer.

I'm afraid you're asking in the wrong place. Apart from the fact that this is the forum for people who make podcasts, the entire discussions are user-to-user forums: you're not talking to Apple here, and no-one on here can help you. You will have to take this up with Apple directly.
If you go to the Apple Store page for your country you should see a phone number in the bottom right-hand corner: they may be able to help or at least tell you how to contact the people who can.

Back to school card validity

If it has no expiration date on it, or doesn't mention anything about how long it is valid for, then it never expires.

I bought an iPad from the Apple Store last summer while on vacation in San Diego, and received a $50 US Back To School card. I just recently purchased another iPad this year in Canada from Best Buy and did not receive a $50 US Back To School card. Since I haven't used the gift card last year, I wanted to make some purchases on my iPad I bought this year but it is saying that I have to use the U.S. storefront. How might I go about doing so, or working around this issue? Help I need the apps for school!

iTunes Gift Cards are only redeemable in the iTunes Store for the country that is listed on the back of the card. A U.S. gift card isn't any good if you don't have a U.S. address and U.S. iTunes Store account. Sorry :\

Why did I not get a back to school card with my macbook pro

Hello,
Yesterday I bought a macbook pro for university. I showed my university card and was given a discount, but thought I would also be a 'back to school card' to get £70 of apps. I have registered by macbook online but still no mention of the voucher. Please advise. Thank you.

I actually bought it June 17. Is it too late to get one? Shoulnd't they have it on record whether or not they gave me one?

I just tried to redeem my $100 back to school card because of some Apps I wanted to buy (go figure) well, Apple doesn't think that my card is valid...
The card serial number is the GCA and I opened a ticket with iTunes support today. Any troubleshooting tips before Apple replies?

Can I receive the Back to School $100 itunes giftcard if I buy a Mac from BestBuy/Future Shop?

When you buy a new qualifying Mac with Apple education pricing from June 16, 2011, through September 20, 2011, you’ll get a free $100 Back to School Card to use on the Mac App Store, the App Store, the iTunes Store, and the iBookstore.
Do you have to purchase the mac from an Apple store? Will this deal still apply if you purchase it from a seller such as Best Buy, Futureshop, etc...
I'm asking this because Best Buy offers MS Word for Home & Student for free with a purchase of a mac as well until September 30, 2011

The $100 iTunes gift card is a promo being run specifically by Apple, so no a third-party vendor will not have the same promo. Bust Buy does like to match deals, so as tjk suggests, you should contact them and see if they can offer anything to match Apple's promo.

How do I apply for a Back to School 50$ itunes card?

I apologise in advance if I have posted this in the wrong section.
My step-mother recently visited the US for holiday and bought me a brand new iPad 3 from the apple store as a present because I am starting university in England in September. This was all about 2 weeks ago.
I recently found out that my situation meets the requirements to get a free $50 USD iTunes card to spend on apps for university (which I would find incredibly usefull!) and so I would like to know how I can get this card?

Sorry, but you probably can't. The US program only applies to those who are enrolled or enrolling in a US university, so you can't apply for the US back-to-school program (and couldn't use the US-issued gift card in the UK anyway) and I believe that the UK program requires that you purchase from the UK Apple Store (the US program does). You can call the UK Apple Store and ask if there's any way a US-purchased iPad would qualify for the UK back-to-school program, but it's not likely.

I bought my mac last July and got this redeem card. But I left the U.S. a month later and I haven't got a chance to use that card. It seems that this card is only valid on U.S. itunes store, which means I can use it only when I am back to the U.S.
My questions are:
1. Does this card have a time limit for me to use that? Or the remainder in this card is available forever?
2. If I perchase an app which is not free on mac using this card, will my iphone and ipad also get this app for free synchronizedly via the same Apple ID?

I recent purchased a mac book and received a $100 gift card to go with it. I just want to know if the gift card can be used for music instead of "back to school apps" like the websiye says.

It can be used for anything in the iTunes store.

What am I allowed to purchase with my $100 Back to School 2012 gift card?
I am trying to buy a case online for my new Macbook Pro with my given $100 gift card but am having some difficulties. When checking out on the Mac Store you are asked to provide the card and pin number of gift card, but I'm not sure which numbers to use ~ I've tried several combinations...
16 digit code on the top right (numbers/letter)
6 digit code on left of barcode (numbers)
4 digit code on bottom left (numbers)
22 digit code centered on bottom (numbers/letters)
11 digit code on bottom left (numbers)
I redemed my card in the app store perfectly so I know it is valid but don't know how to use it in the Mac Store or that is even possible...

I didn't receive my back to school 2012 gift card

I ordered a MBP Retina through the online education store on July 1 which comes a free $100 back to school gift card. The next day I received a shippment notification that says the gift card has shipped on July 2 and I will receive it on July 6. The problem is that it's been more than one week and I still didn't receive my gift card, and Apple has charged me $100 on my credit card. I have no idea what is going on and where my gift card is.
p.s. the carrier is DHL express, and there is no tracking number for the gift card

Just called the Apple customer service this morning, they said there is a delay in the shipping and the estimated delivery time is inaccurate. The gift card should arrive by the end of this week or next Monday, if not, they will just send me the redeem code via email. They also said the $100 that has been charged on my credit card will be deducted from the price of the MBP Retina eventually.
Just gonna wait and see what will happen next and Thanks for the help.

Can i use my "back to school" gift card for both itunes and app store?

I received the $100 "back to school 2011" gift card from apple when i purchased my mac book pro recently, i was wondering if i redeem this gift card within itunes would i still be able to use it to buy apps for my computer in the App Store? Will the gift card balance be put into my account for use on both stores, or will it only apply to itunes OR app store?

Since the iTunes store and the App Store are actually one in the same, you can use the gift card for purchasing apps, yes.

I have aan Apple Back to School $100 credit card. When I purchased an ITunes album, it didn't allow a 'Redeem' -- immediately charged the item to my credit card? How does this work please?

Problem solved! Apparently you need to go to where you credit card is set up, and enter the credit there.
