When and if Apple announces it. Surely, not until just before you go back to school. That's why they call it a Back to School sale.

Summer’s ending but the fun doesn’t have to!
Your Verizon Back to School Sale has great deals under $20, such as the Black Berry Curve!
Buy one for $19.99 and get one FREE with new 2 year activation of voice plan

Apple typically makes their back to school special set in stone so they most likely will not change it back.  Maybe if PC's start taking away from the Apple market with the free xbox promotion, but I don't see people flocking to PC for an xbox 360 especially when the new xbox's are coming out soon.  Look at it this way, you get $100 for the app store and free Lion upgrade so the $100 really is $129.00 free.

  • Back to School Sales

Does anyone know when their back to school sales start?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Best Buy is always having sales in store that are not usually located in the advertisment. Its best to walk into your local Best Buy and browse the isles to see the actual prices on items not shown in ads. I find this to be true, because I found some killer merchandise there that was marked "Clearance" and it ended up being a whole lot lesser then what the clearance price tag advertised. It's good to shop around.

I want to order a second copy of an existing iPhoto book. Though created in the smaller format now only the larger format is showing. How can I switch an existing iPhoto book back to the smaller format?

To change a book size duplicate it (select the book in the source pane and press command and D) since text flow and picture  placements can change due to the size differences - then click on change themes, select the same theme and the new size
    check it carefully
Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.

  • How do I apply for a Back to School 50$ itunes card?

    Hello everyone,
I apologise in advance if I have posted this in the wrong section.
My step-mother recently visited the US for holiday and bought me a brand new iPad 3 from the apple store as a present because I am starting university in England in September. This was all about 2 weeks ago.
I recently found out that my situation meets the requirements to get a free $50 USD iTunes card to spend on apps for university (which I would find incredibly usefull!) and so I would like to know how I can get this card?
    Thanks!
    - David

Sorry, but you probably can't. The US program only applies to those who are enrolled or enrolling in a US university, so you can't apply for the US back-to-school program (and couldn't use the US-issued gift card in the UK anyway) and I believe that the UK program requires that you purchase from the UK Apple Store (the US program does). You can call the UK Apple Store and ask if there's any way a US-purchased iPad would qualify for the UK back-to-school program, but it's not likely.
    Good luck.

  • Back to school card is not working

Last week, I went to the apple store, Because my back to school card is not working.
And the clerk helped me to solve that the problem.
He said i will receive the mail from apple customer service.
From last week until today. I did not receive any mail from apple customer.
Can any one help me ??

I'm afraid you're asking in the wrong place. Apart from the fact that this is the forum for people who make podcasts, the entire discussions are user-to-user forums: you're not talking to Apple here, and no-one on here can help you. You will have to take this up with Apple directly.
If you go to the Apple Store page for your country you should see a phone number in the bottom right-hand corner: they may be able to help or at least tell you how to contact the people who can.

  • Macbook Pro 13- Back to school offer 2011?

I have been holding out on purchasing the Macbook Pro 13 2011 model for while now due to
    New OS
    Back to school offer?
Wondering if anyone would know if Apple are doing the back to school offer this year as sure last years was around May but nothing has been mentoned so far?
Also by holding out I would be getting the new OS on the laptops already- any ideas when this is released as really want a Macbook Pro already first MAC purchase for me exciting times

I would want to wait 6 months after any new OS to be 'field tested.' Tried and true and mature with the bugs worked out makes 10.6.7+ look good investment rather than bleeding edge.
With Apple you can't install an older build version of the OS than what it ships with so if there are any issues which there always are with an OS.
No one knows future product dates and terms (and couldn't say anyway).
If you want to talk to MacBook Pro owners they are on
    MacBook Pro
Spec-wise the 2011 MBP looks very good.

  • Back to School card

Hi, does anyone know how much time we have to use the "back to school" Apple iTune card(50$)?

iTunes cards do not expire. If you lose it, though, then just like cash it's gone, so you'll want to redeem the card into your account as soon as practical.
    Regards.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

  • "back to school 2012" redeem card for $100

I bought my mac last July and got this redeem card. But I left the U.S. a month later and I haven't got a chance to use that card. It seems that this card is only valid on U.S. itunes store, which means I can use it only when I am back to the U.S.
    My questions are:
    1. Does this card have a time limit for me to use that? Or the remainder in this card is available forever?
    2. If I perchase an app which is not free on mac using this card, will my iphone and ipad also get this app for free synchronizedly via the same Apple ID?

I am trying to buy a case online for my new Macbook Pro with my given $100 gift card but am having some difficulties.
That is the Apple online store.
You can use your Back to School Gift Card to download apps, music, books, and more from the Mac App Store, the iTunes Store, the iBookstore, and the App Stores only.

I'm sure they'll do it. Make sure your school is listed, keep your e-mail as new, and hold onto the receipt! You should it right away.

  • Is there going to be another back to school deal this year?

Like when you buy a macbook and you get a free printer or an ipod or something?

"Back to school" offers have hit the Apple mainpage now. New this year is bonuses for iPhone purchases.
It seems we had to get past Fathers day a little, and now Labor Day (Sept 1 or thereabouts) and back to school is the next big event.
