Back up and Copy to CD

I am using Adobe Photoshop album Starter Edition 3.2. I really do not know how it even got on my computer. BUT...my pictures load into it, so I need to use it. I cannot figure out how to back up the pictures on a CD. Or on my backup drive.
Please help. I have also tried to find a instruction manual that I can print. Is there any resource for that? Or one from the company?

Go in Finder and delete any remaining copies of those tracks. Then go to the iTunes library, *make sure you are in Music view,* and delete any remaining library entries for those tracks.
When they are all gone, re-import the CD.

Mail window may be in the Full Screen mode.

You can never, never migrate an installed copy of PSE. It's just too complex and you can't get to all the bits and bobs.
First you will have to download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
which will not seem to do anything, but is necessary to break the links within PSE so that you can pitch the bits manually. Then you will have to go around, not only to applications, but also to your username>library>preferences and most importantly to the library at the top level of your hard drive>application support>adobe, and remove everything you can find. Spotlight will not help with this kind of search, so don't try that.
Then you can install PSE from scratch.

As razmee209 said, you can use iTunes to install photos on your phone from wherever you have them stored. Where did you copy them to? Are you saying you selected them on you phone and just hit "copy"? That would only copy one at a time to the "clipboard" so that you can paste it somewhere else. As you copy each one, the previous one is deleted from the clipboard. This is not a storage area. Did you back them up on your computer or in iCloud?

Short answer: You do NOT have to reinstall all your apps and copy your files back.
Longer answer: Upgrading the OS does not touch any user files. Upgrading the OS should not interfere with any applications which are compatible with Mavericks. In my experience non-Apple apps are generally left unchanged by the upgrade. It is possible that some apps may need to be upgraded. One good resource for checking application compatibility is RoaringApps.
Finally, it is always wise to backup everything, just in case.

No. You cannot access your Time Capsule directly from an iOS device. The only way to back up an iOS device is to a computer through iTunes or to iCloud, though in some cases you can open and save files via another cloud-based service such as Dropbox.

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. Try this in order to transfer a person from one picture to another
In Editor, go to the expert tab.
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer.
If you want to "remove" someone from a group shot, select something else from an adjacent area on the picture or from another picture, then copy/paste it on a blank layer at the top and position it with the move tool to cover over
For additional guidance, it would help if you post the picture and tell us precisely what you wish accomplish.

HP AiO Remote will not recognize scan and copy function of HP Envy 120 printer

Good morning! HP AiO Remote App is installed on my iPad4 and in the same WiFi network with my HP Envy 120 printer. The printer is recognized by the app and marked with a green led. When I tap on scan or copy in the app menu, it tells me that these functions were available in the app only for printers which provide these features. But HP Envy 120 has both scanner and copier. And last time it worked. Some idea what could have happened here? Thanks. UJ

Hi UJKarl, welcome to the HP Forums. You should be able to scan from the HP AIO Remote App on your Envy 120 printer. You probably just need to power cycle the printer, iPad and router to regain proper function.
Turn off your printer with the power button. Power down the iPad by holding the sleep button down until you get the option to 'slide to power off'. Then disconnect the power cord to your router and count to about 10, and then plug it back in. Once the router comes back online, turn the printer on. When the printer comes back online (blue wi-fi light stops blinking), then power the iPad back up. Try again, and it should work.

You didn't say that in your previous posts (or I misunderstood what you did say). For this new situation, it seems trivial to create a new admin user account, using the same username/password combo as on the old machine's account, log into it, and replace the new login.keychain with the saved one, log out and back in. and everything in the keychain should be available.
It would seem that pen and paper might be the most reliable way after all of retaining sensitive passwords
I have a simple AppleScript which I use to generate a list containing the name, account username, and password for each key in my login.keychain. I use this list as a backup for all generic and webpage keys. You'll have to edit the resulting text file "Passwords" (saved to the desktop) to eliminate the garbage characters that are contained within. No need for pen and paper. Paste the below into Script Editor, run it, and click appropriately on the dialog boxes that pop up. It'll take awhile during the first pass, but subsequent runs only pop up the dialog boxes on new item. HTH

Backing up and restoring an old/classic 80gb ipod

I have an approx. 6/7 year old 80 gb ipod classic. I have a laptop running Windows 7 and the latest itunes software. I would like to back up my itunes library to a portable external device which I have yet to buy. I have approx 20 GB of music and 40Gb of TV/films. i will also be backing up some documents which will take up a lot less memory.
I currently do not have my library backed up anywhere. My ipod is too old to use apples's icloud.
Could you advise what backing up and eventually, restoring looks like? Do I simply copy the itunes folder in my Library and paste it into the external device?
And then if my laptop breaks/is stolen - how do I transfer files to a new laptop?
My experience is that you have to open each individual file from the windows library for it to appear on the (new) itunes library. With 4,000 songs - that isn't very practical.
Is there anything else I should consider for this process? I plan on buying something like a 120GB device.
I have a Nexus Google 4 smartphone bought this year. It seems to have stored some of my itunes music library in Google Play but not all. I'm not sure how this happened.

If you use iTunes to restore an iPad currently under an older iOS version and the iPad is qualified to run the newest available iOS version, the iPad will be updated to the *newest iOS version*.
However, if your reset the iPad on the iPad itself (under Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings), it will remain at it's currently installed iOS version.
