Back up arrow key shows only in gray and won't let me go backwards

IF I am reading a screen and I want to go back a screen the program will no longer give me a black arrow to go back. It will only show in gray and not work. Did I change a setting that is causing this? Does it have anything to do with my history? I can still pull up my history.

Do you see the drop down list if you right click either B/F toolbar button/
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I had this same issue and got it resolved very simply when I contacted Apple SUpport
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and sign into your infomation
> Go to Manage apple id and primary email address
> Change it to the old apple id that your device is asking for
> Save changes
> Go to Settings > iCloud and sign out of the infomation
> Go back to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
> Change it back to the correct apple id
> Go to the email address adn reverify the apple id
> Sign back into iCloud on your device
> Smile

OK, so did you change to the new ID on your device in:
Settings>iTunes & App Store
Settings>iCloud (if you did not delete the old iCloud account before you changed your Apple ID, then post back for instructions on how to delete it)
Settings>Messages>Send & Receive
Settings>FaceTime
You need to sign out the old Apple ID in all of these places and sign on the new one.

Whenever you open your music, you will be routed directly to the last song you were playing. You can tap on playlists or other options to check on your song lists.

I think you also played with the contrast setting.
Go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Increse contrast.
Turn it off.

To erase the OSX on your harddisk you have to boot your Mac from the OSx Install DVD that came with your Mac.
You can't erase the OSx from which your Mac is booted.

Sounds like you have the Restrictions set that prevents changing accounts. You need to unset it. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions.

My Ipod Touch keeps going back to main screen and won't let me play games, read my ebook, etc.

Try a hard reset of the iPod. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

How do I trim video clips in Quicktime Player? The "trim" function under the edit menu is gray and won't do anything.

I am trying to edit video clips from about two yesrs worth of video for an iMovie. I don't want to load all of the clips into a new event because it would be hours worth of video. I don't even know if iMovie could handle it. I have tried to use Quicktime Player to do this, but the "trim" function under the edit menu is gray and won't let me do anything. What can I do?

This sounds like screen curtain may be enabled. Screen curtain is a feature that allows display privacy. To disable screen curtain while VoiceOver is enabled, you can three finger triple tap the screen to disable this feature. You may need to press the home button once in order to process these steps. Click on your preference and check the Parental tab for possible restrictions. Open iTunes, then click the iTunes menu, select preferences after the window opens click on the Parental icon, take a look at the content restrictions section.
