Back up email messages

I accidentally deleted many important messages, but since I have used TM and tried to back up the from yesterday TM, but I do not know how to back up the message. I used Entourage.
Your advise are most appreciated it.

I'm not sure where the Mail's are stored for Entourage. You can contact Microsoft and you can locate the place where the Mails are stored. Once you know where the Mails get stored by default, its very easy to restore from Time Machine. Here's how you restore it.
. Click the Dock's TM icon.
. This should bring up the TM browser with the Entourage windows going back in time.
. Locate your missing Mail items and use Restore tab to recover them.

Thanks, but impractical. Many of the folders have more than 500 emails. Total is about 2 GB (which I have free on iCloud btw)
I tried creating a folder "Archive" in my iCloud, then tried dragging one iMac folder into the new "iCloud > Archive" folder on my iMac. I got the error message:
Some items could not be created:
The IMAP command “CREATE” failed with server error: Invalid mailbox name.

Retrieving backed up email messages

Is there a way to view messages which has been moved off my hard drive onto a disk without importing the folder back into mail? The mail needs to be cleaned out, but I want to be able to refer back to old mail if necessary. Specifically, message in the sent folder can't be read. I get the message "The message from .... has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it." I rebuilt the sent folder, but all the messages were deleted, luckily I backed up everything first.

Email messaging fault

I have created a java exe, through jbuilder 9 enterprise. The program seems to execute fine and creates no exceptions, however when it is run from the commmand line it comes back with "email messaging fault". I am using the latest versions of mail.jar and activation.jar, on an NT machine and am using outlook 2000 for email. Would appreciate any incite someone has on this subject.

I need to be able to print out a text thread.
So I edit and spend 3 hours individually selecting each thread, (have to keep starting over because any miss-tap results in all the selections being lost), then forward the thread to my email address, (which happens to be the email address associated with my iTunes account, [what a bizzare concept]), and it quickly lands back in my text messages from myslef.

I would do that in one of two ways:
1. Select the text message, copy it, and paste it to an email message to yourself.
2. Take a screen shot of the text message (which you can do by holding the home and on/off buttons together for a brief instant. Then send the resulting screen shot from the camera roll to yourself via email.

How do i get email messages back into mail

i recently deleted some email accounts that i no longer use but forgot to save the email messages first. i managed to locate the emails on a backup that i made. i now have lots of .emix files, each of which if i double click them open up so i can read the email, but i cannot find a way of getting them all back into Mail so i can search etc. ideally i want to create a new folder in Mail called Old Mail and get all my .emix files into that folder, but whenever I try and drag and drop them into the folder Mail won't do anything. I don't want to just restore the backup as I have since received emails in Mail from my other accounts, and don't want to lose anything. Any ideas what I need to do?

I am trying to change the font on my emails and I keep following the instructions exactly by going into preferences, fonts and colours and then choosing - then when I go out of that and back to the message it reverts to Helvetica - what step am I missing?

There is a display bug, but it still works okay -
I prefer Arial to the default Helvetica, so that's what I set -
When I first open a new message window, it displays Helvetica as the font -
However, as soon as I type the first character, it switches to showing Arial as the font -

The first screen shot is the left (main) screen after I moved CS6 to the right screen (second screen shot). As you can see the CS6 panels are in front of MS Word. If I click in the Word document they go behind Word. If I switch over to on the right screen the panels reappear but in front of Word again. So I either have to switch back and forth between the two screens if I want to work in CS6 or manually movee the panels over to the Right Screen. It is rather awkward to have to do that. Make sense?

Thanks for the reply, but no, I've experienced POP Lock before and this is not it.
To illustrate my problem, currently the inbox of the account in question has seven (7) emails in it, followed by a message that says "Load 18 More Messages... 18 messages total, 12 unread." I have the mail program set to show 50 of the most recent messages. Clicking the message does nothing.

I can't get out of the edit mode in my messages. I can not get back to a message summary screen no matter what I do. The options across the bottom of the screen are reply, trash, folder, flag and reply.

On the top it doesnt say ALL Inboxes or iCloud or whatever mail box your in?
If not, close the app, double click the home button, swipe over and kill the Mail App..Then open mail app again.
