Back-up of iPhone 4S stops without notice

I am trying to backup my wife's iPhone 4S on her new Macbook Air, and when I select Manually Backup and Restore --> Back-up Now, it starts backing up and then about a minute or two later it just stops and says nothing.
I go into preferences and "devices" to see the latest device backups and there is nothing there.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I had previously backed up her phone on my Macbook Pro if that matters at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes Mathmom815...I am having same problem! I noticed all Posts on the Apple Community regarding this issue just "STOP" when we respond that we have adjusted all settings and that there is enough storage available.
One different Post I read mentioned "Mail & Texts" also take up space....and I noticed my mail app is downloading OLD mail, and it sometimes says I have hundreds of email...then sometimes it says I have only a few. I have adjusted my mail settings and are now downloading NO email. Is there a glitch with the 4s that stores excessive email? Is this "glitch" holding up storage space? How do i back up my iPhone to iTunes without having to type in the password on my phone?

Basically i have a broken iPhone screen and the touch doesn't work, Therefore i cannot put in the password on my phone to allow iTunes to back it up on my Mac OR my Windows laptop so i don't loose everything on there, Is there a way to bypass this so i can back it up without having to type the password?

I have done this but it says for me to back up my iPhone I have to type the password in on my actual phone to unlock it to the homepage, I can't do that as the touch on my screen has broken, I just want to know if there is anyway I can skip that step so I can just back it up as a normal unprotected password phone.

Why does the printer stop without notice?

Hello all, I'm sharing a printer with Mac OS Server (10.3) and the problem is that it stops randomly, I mean it works properly but sometimes the server stops the queue without a notice. The printer is HP 4100
It usually fails when a user sen a .PDF file. If somebody can help me I would be grateful.

This issue is frequently caused by a driver malfunction although the problem could be just about anything.
You didn't provide any information.

How do I back up my iPhone to iCloud without using wi-fi?

I am currently out of wi-fi range. However, I have my iPhone connected to my PC. I bring up iTunes and selct my phone, then go to Summary page. Select iCloud as the Automaticly Backup and then select Back Up Now. It will back it up to the computer, but NOT to ICloud. How can I get the backup to my iCloud space?

You can only back up your phone to either iCloud or to iTunes on your Mac, which do you wish to do.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

The first thing you need to do is (in the left side of iTunes, under devices) right click on your phone, and do a manual back up. As long as that works, this should work for you. After you back it up, go to your phone in iTunes, and do a "Restore". Click the option to restore and update. When it is done with the update, it will ask you if you want to set your phone up as a new phone, or restore from the last back up. Restore it, and after another restart, and a sync, you will have your updated phone without loosing your information.

The dropbox app on the device has such a feature, turn it off.

To rule out a software issue or damaged data inside the backup, set it up as new device without using the latest backup afterwards.
If the phone is back to normal after that, restore from the backup again.

After updating to iOS6, I lost all sound for apps like YouTube, Netflix, games, and even notifications. The only time sound worked was during a phone call or when the head set was plugged in.
I did a full back up and restore- sound restored but only for a day before the problem returned.
Called Apple Support and was advised to do another restore, but this time restore it as NEW first, then do the restore from back up.
Seemed to do the trick.

Once you back up your device you will want to restore it.

Please turn your iPhone off.
Press and hold the Home Button.
Continue to hold the Home Button as you plug you iPhone in to the usb cable.
You will want to continue to hold the Home button until you get a screen with the message "device found in recovery mode".
Please follow the prompts and restore device as NEW.
once the restore is done you will have to set up the device and test the sound.
If it works you will then need to restore the device from the back up to restore your user settings.

Before Mountain Lion comes out I want to create a new iCloud account because I don't want to use the @me.com email that I created with my current iCloud account. I want to create an entirely new account with a new @me.com email address. I use iCloud to back up my iPhone, iPod and am signed into it on my mac. Basically I want to back up my iPhone and iPod to a new iCloud account and not lose any data. Is there any way to do this?

Before you connect to a new PC, make sure that autosync is disabled in Edit/Preferences/Devices, otherwise your phone will be wiped during the following sync.
Then back up manually:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to the new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your phone without syncing.
Transfer the purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the phone for the first time.

Otherwise, connect your phone to iTunes on your computer and back up the phone to the computer.
