Back up phone
My phone was upgraded to the BB Curve 8530 from the other curve with the ball on it (lol). I have not been able to Back up my phone book or neither will it let me download the latest Back up on my computer. I have tried several computers and it doesn't read on either of them as to giving me the options to use my bb software. I am asking because I 'm about to go Back to sprint and this time is not going to be so nice, I haven't backed up my phone since NoV 2011, and that's too long I added #s since then......HELP ME!!!!

While trying to update my iPhone 4 to iOs6 it froze on the connect to itunes screen and i needed to do a restore. But it restored my phone to january 2011 even though i just backed my phone to my laptop up 2 weeks ago. I still have all my contacts but i lost a lot of apps and text messages. Is there any way to make it restore to my most recent back up?
I tried powering down and re-starting the iPhone (as suggested at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275). This seems to have cleared the "...not connected to the Internet" problem, and iOS 6.1 is now in the process of downloading.

how do I make it so that the one computer that has the main itunes account on it be used on other computers, when it comes to backing up phones and not deleting data off of phone that isnt on that computer itunes becasse its all on the one main computer. Baiscally the problem is that one comuter and one account has always been sued for eey persons itunes. Now if we want to be able to backup and use itunes on our own computers fro our iphones and such, how will all he data that is on our phones not be deleted once its plugged into a new computer? Also, is theere a way to get all the stuff on thw current itunes onto each computer, via differtn account name?
option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. My iphone 5c says connect to itunes. It won't update/restore; error message (27) comes up. I also haven't backed the phone up since last year. HELP.

Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer may have a hardware issue that's preventing the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't preventing your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Confirm that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

I dropped my iPhone 4 in water and now it won't turn on at all, will i lose all of my data, for example my photos and messages etc? and is there any way you can back the phone up without having it switched on?
If you had previously been backing up to iCloud (or a computer with iTunes), you would possibly have a backup. That said, if you can't turn the phone on, you cannot create a backup of the device now. Sorry.

I bought songs on itunes through my iphone not too long ago. When I went to plug my iphone into my computer to sync, itunes asked me to restore my phone. I backed my phone up, but now i cannot find the songs i purchased through my phone. I've looked for the songs in the itunes store, but it said that i had not purchased any of the songs.How do i get back the songs?

ive just backed my phone up and now itunes is asking me for the backup folder password ive never set one up and it never asked me for one before the backup any ideas?
It probably is a server issue but try this:
go to the System/MobileMe preference pane and log out of MMe.
login with a bogus username and password like "Ying" and "Yang". This clears the caches.
login with your correct username and password.
delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your Home()/Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.
launch iWeb and try again.

my phone crashed while away. apple backed the phone on a friends comp (pic/MMS/SMS/contacts). When I get home and use my comp backup to add music, etc will I lose SMS/pic, etc? THANKS!!!

Try using Siri and ask "Who's phone is this?" It should give you the name, number, and email address of the owner. Also, you can try swiping to unlock, select Emergency, then see if they have a Medical ID set up. If they do, they may have the name of a contact with a phone number listed.

I have error code -43 when trying to upgrade iPhone 3GS running v4.3 to version 5 or above. This error occurs whilst trying to back up phone during upgrade process. 2GB of free memory on phone. Can anyone help?
Well I spoke too soon.
The update was successful, but now I cannot connect to the 3GS data network.
Cannot get email and cannot open a page in Safari.

Email and internet work fine on WiFi.........no data using 3GS network.

After sync my music disappeared. Now I cannot get music back on phone. I selected playlists and triedeven loading allmusic.I have one song on my phone and cannot load any music back on it. Is there a setting I may have selected that needs to be changed???
Okay. I hope I can remeber all my steps exactly because I fixed my own problem...with absolutely no help from Apple. I opened itunes. I connected my ipod touch to my computer. On my itunes page that shows my songs in the upper right side under the search library box there is an itunes button and since I am connected there is an ipod button. DO NOT CLICK THE ARROW in the ipod button...just click in the mail part of the button. On mine it opened to a summary page that gave info on my ipod. The menu bar has Summary, Apps, Tones, Music and more. I clicked on the Music button. I chose to Sync the entire music library. That replaced what was on my ipod but what was on there was going to be put back on so I was okay with it. I then clicked the Sync button on the lower right side and it sync'd and all my songs are on my ipod again. I hope this might help someone else. Good luck.

Is it set to back up to iCloud now?
Or do you have wifi backup enabled in iTunes?
Plug it in while on wifi and it will automatically back up.

Restore deleted mails (IMAP server)
