Backbeat 906 - do you have to use the adaptor?

I've just purchased the Altec Lansing Backbeat 906, which is just charging up right now (so I haven't been able to use it).
What the instructions don't make clear is whether you have to use the adaptor or not? There is a section on pairing the headset with your phone, followed by a section on pairing the headset with the adaptor. Do I have to do both?
Also, in the troubleshooting section, it says that you actually need to pair the headset with the adaptor before pairing with the phone (i.e. the opposite way round to what the instructions suggest).
Can someone clear this up?

So you can not only use the telephone options, but also listen to music via the iPod functonality of iPhone without the dongle right?

I'm sprucing up my MacPro 2 x 2.66 GHz (hard drives, video card, & RAM) and would like to know if I have to use Apple's RAM with the heatsink on it.

You MUST use RAM with both the large Apple-specified Heatsink AND the Apple approved Temperature Sensor. These are "tuned" to the airflow inside a Mac Pro. Modules must also be ECC modules, 72 data bits wide.
If you decide not to, the internal fans may not work properly, the modules will get too hot and will fail prematurely
The best way to solve this pronlem is to deal with a Vendor that knows Macs and can tell YOU which modules work in your Mac -- guaranteed or your money back if it does not work for any reason. And a lifetime warranty -- if it ever fails and still has their sticker on it, they will replace it, free.
There are a few one-off deals out there that may be a little cheaper, but the cost of dealing with reputable Mac-oriented Vendors does not add substantially to the price. And you do not get stuck with "you buy it, you own it" modules that do not work in your Mac.

The title of your post says "iTunes in the cloud" -- there are actually 2 different types of backup. One is to iCloud and one iTunes. If you did the backup via iTunes then the backup data is stored on that computer and you will need that computer to do the restore. If the backup was done to iCloud you don't need a computer. I bought an unlocked iPhone 5 and then bought a separate T-Mobile nano sim but when I tried the sim it says "the sim is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server" I then checked the settings > general > about > carrier and that says EE 14.0. Does this mean I need a nano sim from EE?

How do you effectively use if,for, type loops in TestStand. Do you have to use the goto command or is there a way of writing actual c type code (perhaps using the statement step in teststand) with the variables allready declared.

I assume your loop is more than just one step. You should use the 'Loop Options' for a single step.
For looping on a group of steps, you can place them all in a sub sequence and then set the 'Loop Options' for the 'SequenceCall' step to set up your looping conditions. Pass values to and from the sub-sequence by Parameters.
You can keep the loop inline with the rest of your sequence by using 'Goto' or using 'Goto destination' in the Post Actions tab of the condition step.
Using a sub sequence will keep it easier to read and maintain.

Team Purchasing - does it with with ACW or do you have to use PCW

SAP notes say that you have to use the process-controlled workflow framework to use team purchasing. Team purchasing is not available with the application-controlled workflow framework.
Has anyone managed to get team purchasing working in SRM7 using ACW? If so, how?

How did the photos that you want to copy off get on the iPad ? To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a Mac you should be able to use iPhoto, Aperture or Image Capture
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app on your iPad such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

Double click home button for camera to show up (and iPod). Notifications seem to show up on lock screen that way, too.

Not sure if it uses data, but that allows you to multitask. To save battery life you should close out of all the apps.

The passcode has to be typed in. I don't usually allow my phone to drain out except this one time on a long trip. Hence I forgot my passcode and I prefer it being sent to me via my registered email. I know that if you enter it several times, the phone gets locked out over certain periods from 1 minute to 60 minutes so I don't want to take that risk. Any suggestions?

First, this is a user-to-user technical support forum, not a way to communicate with Apple.
That aside, no one can email your passcode to you because no one (not even Apple) knows it. The passcode exists in only one place - on the phone. You will have to restore the phone using the computer that you regularly sync it to. This will reinstall iOS, remove the passcode, and restore your most recent backup.
