Backdoor:Win32/Cycbot.B hit my computer

Backdoor:Win32/Cycbot.B virus hit my computer and is preventing Firefox from "seeing" the internet. I contacted Microsoft and they helped get my Internet Explorer running, but Firefox is still infected. I removed Firefox and reloaded it, but to no avail. My Internet Explorer now works, but even after removing and reloading Fiorefox, it still won't work. Do you have someone who can assist me in getting rid of this? Thanks.

ITunes automatically importing songs once they hit my computer

Wonder if you can help. iTunes is automatically importing any music file that hits my computer into iTunes when i dont want it to.
I try to keep my iTunes collection "clean" with just the things i really want to keep but i have lots of other music files around my computer (demo files i am listening to, mp3's sent by friends). I store them in my Sony/Users/Music directory. my iTunes media folder is set below that at Sony/Users/Music/Itunes/iIunes Music so it should be quite simple to keep them separate.
however, since i downloaded the latest version of iTunes last year, now for some reason it seems to look into the higher level "Music" directory (that includes all my other music files) and anytime anything appears in that directory, it automatically imports it and moves it into the iTunes permanent collection, which is making it a mightmare to try to keep my various files organised.
Has anyone else had this problem and/or can suggest remedies?

Because itunes doesn't do that (watch folders), hasn't done it since it was first released, and that's been one of the most asked-for feature over the years.

I can't find any reference to Carbanak in the Microsoft Malware Encyclopedia, but this page from Trend Micro

But you can (and should) delete your backup in iTunes prefs > Devices.

Hello experts! (I also posted in another category -- but then was directed here.)
With the lastest iOS update, I can now block a particular spammer from repeatedly sending Facetime requests to me on my iPhone. But the same requests keep pouring in on Facetime on my computer.
How can I block this spammer from all the requests hitting my computer's Facetime? I know I can turn off Facetime on the computer, but it seems wrong that a single spammer can force me to stop using an application on my computer.

I'm not trying to sell it. Delta Airlines crushed it. I would understand that the plane might sway and might hit the computer, I understand that it might be thrown into the plane, I understand that it might be tossed into the the cart and all that. What I don't understand is how does a well packaged, 60lb, stable-cube-of-a-box with fragile stickers gets thrown off and ran over with the luggage transport? I would think it's their responsibility at that point. Carelessness.
Just need to know how much it's worth. Stripped down with 1GB, no Airport, and no 300GB HD, originally sold for $2,884 back then.
I estimated $2,500 today.

I took in a lot of consideration of what this whole thing caused me to do.
I didn't add that that as soon as I heard it was crushed, me and my partner wasted no time to find a replacement computer for the job we were working on. We ended up buying a Mac Pro and finished the After Effects job using a 1GB stick of RAM (which I dreaded throughout the whole project).
I went ahead and sent a letter to Delta Corporate and asked for about $4,500 in damages and replacement parts. I need two new drives (the work in there is priceless, it has years of design work) and other parts in which costs me more money to replace.

Anyways, I'm still working with a 1GB chip and man it *****. I can't wait any longer for the response from Delta, so I'm deciding to buy new RAM now but am having difficulty. I need help! My iTunes is not connecting to iTunes but is being recognized everywhere else on my computer. I have reset my iPod, reinstalled iTunes, and restarted my iPod/computer.

Backdoor.bifrost trojan

When I started my internet browser today, I got an automatic download from Verizon for the newest VZ in-home agent. I went ahead and let it download and install. After doing so, Malwarebytes immediately warned me that the backdoor.bifrost trojan had infected my computer and it was located in the folder for this new Verizon software.
Is this software truly infected with a trojan or could this be a false positive from Malwarebytes?

I'm really surprised that this has received no responces.

Here are some steps from MWILSON00 found in this post.
What you will have to do after you insert the memory card into your printer, go to your computer and open the memory card there, it will be in your computer section from start menu if you are using vista or win 7, in XP you will hit my computer, after you open the removable disk which is your memory card you can save the photos to your computer.

i have recently moved house and changed internet provider. i have had trouble getting my imac to stay connected to the wifi but this problem has now been solved after a lot of tech support from apple. however my apple tv still wont talk to my computer and itunes account. when i hit the computer icon on apple tv it comes up with "could not connect to J.... B..... library" "make sure the computer is on the same network as your apple tv, the itunes version is up to date, and itunes is running" all of this is correct and i have tried resetting, restoring, reloading, deleting the account and adding again, restarting the modem and all of the same on the imac. still cant get it to work.

When you hit the "Install" button it swings you back to make you agree to the terms again. The program never gives you the option to "Run" or "Save" it.

Works for me if I start a Windows version of Firefox 4 or Firefox 6 (Aurora) via Wine on Linux. So the Firefox version doesn't seem to be the problem. I can't test it on Windows, but does work on Linux with Firefox 4.0.1 if I override navigator.platform to Win32.

N660GTX-Ti Twin Frozr IV PE OC is not detected by my PC

I've bought the N660GTX-Ti Twin Frozr IV PE OC.
Even thought, I install it on my PC. no video come up on the screen.
The Mother board reported "no video card is detected" as beep sound as well.
It seems that boot strap process itself is progressed w/o video display.
I use Ge-force 550Ti on this mother board currently.
I also have tried this 660 graphic card on other mother boards.
Some of case OK and other case Not good.
As far as my trials, it seems that there is incompatibility between Intel X58 chip set and N660GTX-Ti Twin Frozr IV PE OC.
I hear that similar issues have been solved with optimized V-BIOS.
Also I found the V-BIOS update on this forum on URL below

Yes.. checked/scanned everything my PC and several others in my network around me,
they all come up clean, except this particular infected file.
my original source are trusted, but i scan them anyway and also come up clean.
luckily i didn't run that thing so im not infected, but infected file is sitting there waiting to attack on execution...

and seems an unknown computer from my ISP infect it somehow..
I've also scanned all attached files by me in a forum in a last 3 months and found that infection comes in last 3 days.
removed 3-4 infected other attachments, which was uploaded in the last 3 days.

MSI Forum HQ USB flashing tool!!!

Hi guys,
We the forum team have developed a new way of flashing.
You no longer need a floppy or anything, just an USB-stick.
The tool has been tested together with MSI and as far as we have done our testing, there are no problems at all.
As long as the USB-stick is FAT or FAT32 formatted!
However, flashing is allways risky, so if it goes bad it's your own fault, but that goes for all flashing you do.
This tool is intended to flash MSI retail motherboards and laptops,
but if needs you can use any other machine to prepare the necessary stuffs and the USB stick there,
before move the USB stick to the msi product that you want to flash.
The way it works is simple: Download the package and download the BIOS from the MSI website that you want to flash.
The rest is straight forward.
Make sure that your board is set to be able to boot from USB.
So turn on USB Legacy Support in the BIOS.
Boot and press F11 to get the boot-popup and select your USB-device to boot.
(some boards have a different key, like K8N Master uses ESC for the boot-menu)
What ever you do, make sure you read all warnings!
The forum nor MSI is responsible if it fails for you.
Nor is this software supported by MSI technical support!
Please report problems/buggs if you find them.

Hoverer, the wave of false positive mess has been resolved along with Avast! false positive as well.

This is terrible and only occurred over last few days.
If you hit magnifying glass goes to search, if you hit the computer icon goes as far as split screen.
Tried to go under general to see if calendar view options but nothing....
This is horrendous for people that have more than two items in a day ( how about the ENTIRE world)!!!
