I backed up my old phone to icloud and now lost all my music ???
Iopd apps and ipad apps are not generally the same thing, unless they are universal apps ( noted with the + ). If they are not universal, then you would have to buy the ipad version of the apps.
As long as the music is on your computer as it should be, then just sync it to the ipad.

Purchased book "The Fish That Ate The Whale". In the Purchased window, my previous purchased books are labeled "downloaded" but The Fish has a cloud ikon and will not download. I have tried to delete the book but no response.

No need to apologize, I actually found the phrase "If your iPad ever craps the bed" amusing under the circumstances
I checked the list of installed apps like you suggested (Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Show all apps) but this problem app is not in the list. I have also swiped down on the home screen to search for it, but again it does not show.
While it has not let me download the app (and I just tried it again) it has helped me to eliminate a few things from the list of what to try, and I can definitely conclude that it has not downloaded.
I guess I need to fire up my PC and download it / sync my iPad.

My wife's phone had similar symptoms, at least with the text notification alert not working. I have narrowed it down to happening after we use the new navigation feature in the Maps. When we power the phone off and back on, the alert sound seems to return. I haven't tried just "killing" the Maps app after we use it...perhaps that would work as well.

If restarting the computer and iTunes doesn't work you can try one of these suggestions.
1. If items appear (maybe in grey or different from working songs) but don't play you can try to delete them from your library so they will no longer seem to be there to the iTunes store.
a) select the item
b) press option and delete key assuming a mac keyboard
c) yes, send them to trash
d) restart Itunes, go to store, check for available downloads, and select download all

Tried to upgrade to osx 10.9 from 10.7 and I didn't notice that it downloads in the launcher. I turned my mac off and ever since then it has glitched out and will not download no matter what I do. I have had it for 3 years which is out of warranty. It now has a blank bar under the launch pad and no matter how many times I try re-downloading it or restarting my computer it does not work. I use too play starcraft and other games on this computer although new patched/updates have made it that I can no longer do that now. Really frustrating having to deal with this especially after buying this computer upfront and now out of warranty.
Go to your Applications folder and find a file called "Install OS X Mavericks". Send it to the trash and delete it. Then try the download again.

Which type of email account are you using? If you want to prevent a particular message from being downloaded to Outlook, we can login to the web interface of your email account and then remove the particular email from your Inbox.

If you see the "Purchased" option on the main screen of the iTunes Store, here's what I'd do:
1) Go into your library and delete the file if it downloaded. If not, go to your downloads and delete it from there to stop it from download.
2) Go to the Purchased pane in the main iTunes Store section, locate the item, and try the download again.
Also, you may wish to turn off any anti-virus or anti-malware programs before you try this again, as that sometimes is what can be blocking the download. Otherwise, contact iTunes Store Support:

Why does my Firefox say my java applet is corruped and will,not download for my game
I play a lot of games on POGO and they tell me that I have to have JAVA and Mozilla Fire Fox for my browser. I have 1 game that I get kicked off of each time I try to play it. I get a notice telling me that my browser says my applet from Java is corrupted and will not download. I have done everything they suggest and nothing works. Mozilla seems to be a terriable choice for me as a browser I have a lot of ppproblems with them getting me to my web pages.. help!!

Why in the heck can I not download an HD video if my monitor isn't capable of displaying the movie. My iPhone can and will be downloaded to the phone. So why stop me from downloading the movie? Have I lost this freedom to download HD?

Hi..I have just recently got an iPhone and I had installed some apps already but now when I try to install and download any apps it just sits there on "waiting" and will not download.. Im able to erase it but no apps will download now. I have tried logging out of the app store but it still did the same thing. I also tried resetting it and that didn't work either.
