  • 7912 with CME

    I follow the instructions to change the background image in a 7912 with a CME v4.0.3, I have the gkdefault.cfg and xxx.logo generated with the bmp2logo application, I have uploaded to flash and use the commands:
    tftp-server flash:xxx.logo
    tftp-server flash:test.logo
    I reset the 7912 IP phones but does not change the background image, so I put a tftp debug and it says the following:
    TFTP: Looking for Spain/gkdefault.cfg
    TFTP: Sending error 1 No such file
    So I created a directory named Spain containing the gkdefault.cfg and xxx.logo with the respective command:
    tftp-server flash:Spain/xxx.logo
    tftp-server flash:Spain/test.logo
    but the background image doesn?t change for the personal company logo, any idea what is missing??
    Thanks in advise.

    1. Download the SCCP Software Package Zip file.
    http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ip_phone_client
    2. Create the bitmap of the image to load to the phone
    -The bitmap must be 88x27 pixels in size
    -The bitmap must be black and white
    -The bitmap must be saved as a monochrome image type
    3. Convert the bitmap into a logo image using bmp2logo.exe
    -bmp2logo x input_file output.logo
    where x is an arbitrary number
    -example: bmp2logo 10 cisco.bmp cisco.logo
    4. Create a text file that will be used to build the ld or gk cfg file
    -The file can be any name
    -Must contain the upgradelogo key
    -The SampleLogo.txt can be used as a template.
    NOTE: the image number defined in step 3 must be used in this text file
    5. Create the cfg file, use the cfgfmt.exe
    -cfgfmt SampleLogo.txt lddefault.cfg
    NOTE: if the same image is desired on all 7905's and 7912, use the
    lddefault.cfg and
    gkdefault.cfg files.
    6. Move the .logo file into the TFTPPATH directory
    7. Move the lddefault.cfg or gkdefault.cfg into the COUNTRY specific folder.
    -The ld or gk cfg files will need to be in at least
    \TFTPPATH\United_States
    NOTE: The cfg file will need to be copied to each COUNTRY directory
    supported by the CM.
    8. Reboot the 7905 or 7912. The new image should appear on the idle screen.

  • Background image not scrolling with text

    My foreground text will resize with my browser but the background stays stationery, remains in the upper left. How do I fix this? I have included part of my code.
    Ideally I would like to anchor text boxes to background image so it will scroll all together. If this can't be done I can use the margins and padding to adjust my text to work with the background I just need it to move with it.  I've seen samples of this, which i  think may have been done in photoshop but I would like to keep the copy live in DW. FYI, I added "background-attachment:scroll" to the code. I have searched and searched online for a solution to no avail.  I am attaching a coupld of PDFs so you can see where I want to go. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch in advance and please be gentle.
    body  {
         background: #666666; /* it's good practice to zero the margin and padding of the body element to account for differing browser defaults */
         padding: 0;
         text-align: center;
         background-image: url(Images/Background_Radial77.jpg);
         background-repeat: no-repeat;
         margin-right: 0%;
         margin-top: 19%;
         color: #FFF;
         background-color: #FFF;
         background-attachment:scroll
         margin-left: 0%;
         font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
         font-size: 100%;
         margin-bottom: 0;
         margin-left: 0;

    That's how web pages work.  Remember, web design is nothing like print design.  Printed pages or graphics are static.   Web pages must be flexible to accommodate  different displays, text sizes and varying amounts of content.   Trying to precisely position text or other objects over a huge background is a bit like  trying to nail Jello to a wall.  No matter how hard you try,  it will never hold up.

    Your best option is to slice and dice your background image into usable segements in Photoshop or Fireworks.  Save images only.  Then re-assemble slices  in  DW to create flexible containers.

  • Background images which change with scrolling, just how is it done?

    These fabulous sites, were featured on Adobe Muse's Site of the Day
    http://www.streetreach.org/
    http://www.lauranet.nl/
    Brilliant sites. What they have in common is a background image (of sorts)  that changes with scrolling, I just cant get my brain around how it's done?
    Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    Thanks

    Start with some of these:

  • When I try to print, I get one page with a header and the background image, another page with the content, and a third page with a footer and background image. How can I make it print properly?

    Also, if I print to a .pdf, the background does not show up even if I have the checkbox checked to print background image.
    The site I'm trying to print is:
    [http://www.puertovallartatours.net/coupons-discounts.htm http://www.puertovallartatours.net/coupons-discounts.htm]

    I did not have the HP printer software for Mac OSX installed properly. Once installed the problem went away.

  • Background image repeating, even with no-repeat?

    I can't seem to figure out why my background image is repeating in Safari. I have set the page properties to no-repeat and it is working well in Firefox (Mac), but in Safari, my background image is repeating. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much.

    Which background are you seeing repeat?  I presume it's the ../zoe/images/Zoe_site_off_01.jpg one, but I'm not seeing it repeat in Safari.
    .zoetextbackground {

  • Crop a background image (movie) - working with a template

    I'm working with the template "Promo > Product Shot". The image block with the bike is what I want to replace with my own video clip.
    I can't figure out how to replace it, so I took the video clip and "placed" it. That's all fine, but now I want the size of the video clip to match the size of the bike block. I can scale it down to get close but then I'd have to crop the sides to get the vertical block shape.
    Can't figure out how to do this either. Is it even possible?
    Thank you very much,
    Eric P

    Thank you for the speedy reply.
    I played with that tab a little but didn't understand exactly what it was so I never followed through with it.
    I did follow your steps, but nothing happened. Perhaps there is something I have to do after selecting the movie?
    Thank you,
    Eric

  • I cannot get my background image to scroll with my page.

    My background stays in place as my page/text scroll over it.  I am on Dreamweaver CS3. And I have tried in the body css to set the "Attachment" to "scroll" to "fixed" (seams to be stuck here)  and to nothing. (which I understand is automatically scroll setting)
    (Also no-repeat, Horizontal - center, Vertical - top, also tried vertical to "0 pixels)  Nothing is working, and it is 4 hours later.

    Sue,
    My take on this is that you WANT your background to scroll normally.
    Change this in your CSS:
    body,td,th {
        font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
        font-size: medium;
        color: #333333;
        background-attachment: fixed;
    to this:
    body,td,th {
        font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
        font-size: medium;
        color: #333;

  • Anchored graphic as background image?

    I am working with text flowing continuously through a master text frame unto multiple pages and I am trying to anchor a full-page background image (with bleed) onto specific pages. Is this possible?
    I want the background image to stay with the relevant heading on each page. However, when I use "Object/Anchored Object/Insert" to do this with "custom" as the anchor option I end up with a frame on the same layer as my text. This is okay, but when I place an image in the frame, it covers the text I have entered in the text frame. I can see the dotted line indicating the anchor connection, but not the text it is anchored to. I can't change the order of objects within the layer because the "Arrange" options are greyed out. Changing the text wrap options does not help.

    Thanks Bob! Really good to know. I will stop hitting my head against a brick wall!
    Adding backgrounds to master pages doesn't really cut it since I still can't have them flow dynamically with the continually evolving text in this project. (I suspect I might be able to flow backgrounds with text in Word, if it came to it, but of course I chose InDesign to give me more control, particularly over the non-text elements of the layout).

  • Can we resize and change the background image in a 2 page layout?

    I am a two page layout report in RTF. Can I use different background image on page 1 and page 2? The first page background will not be repeated but the second page will. Also, it seems when we insert a background image by going "Format -> Background -> Fill effect -> Picture", after we finished the whole process we can't get the background image to fit with the page, can we resize it to be fit with the page? Thanks for your help!

    Yes.  Select the image and go to the Inspector/Hyperlink/Link pane and use the Link to One of my Pages option.
    Remember: the photo must be added to the page by dragging it onto the page and then be selected.  It can't be added as a background image with the Inspector/Page/Layout pane.

  • Background image resizing always 100%

    Hi,
    I'm trying to do something but it doesn't work. I have an edge animation with a image in background. the image has a 100% width and height to fit perfectly the browser. My problem is when I'm trying to resize manually the window, it doesn't keep the ratio. so I tried with the "height: auto" properties but if you resize the browser window, the height isn't to 100% anymore..
    Thanks in advance for your help !
    p.s: You can find my example in the .zip file.

    Hi
    As most modern browsers now support background image scaling, and with a little effort it can also be simulated in IE8 and below, (via the alphaImageLoader) why not use the browsers built in features for this?

  • Help me change the background image

    I just installed my copy of iWeb. The first thing I did after selecting a template was try to change the background.
    I hit the inspector button, found the tab with the background stuff, selected image fill, fit to size, and chose my photo. And nothing happened.
    Then I hit the media button, selected photos, dragging a photo to the background image in the inspector and nothing happened.
    What is the secret to changing the background image?
    Thanks.

    I tried to delete everything but the background image that comes with the template and iWeb still refuses to change to anything I want to change it to.
    Any ideas? The application doesn't seem to be working for me.
    Also if I save a file, where on the local HDD does it get saved? When I hit save iWeb didn't allow me to set a file name, it apparently just saved the document somewhere in a place that I cannot find.
    I want to be able to do some quick down and dirty web pages and then bring them into Dreamweaver at a later date and FTP them to the web.

  • How to stop browser background image from scrolling?

    So is there a way (an easy way) to stop browser background image from scrolling with the page?
    Thanks

    If it's a single image, add this code to center the page horizontally:
    parent.document.body.style.backgroundPosition='50% 0%';

    Depends, if u have a background image in a div, and fade the

  • How can I do a Background image like this (example inside)

    Check this out:
    Click Here
    Notice if you view the background image by itself, its much bigger than what is appearing on the website in the browser.  Is it set to automatically adjust to your monitor size?  How can I achieve this through CSS?
    Also, how can I setup a transparent background (like in the middle of the page?)
    Thanks

    "Is it set to automatically adjust to your monitor size?  How can I achieve this through CSS?"
    It's an illusion.  The body background image is defined with a fixed position, so the image is actually floating off to the left when viewport width is decreased.  Another example of this can be seen here along with the CSS code used to create it.
