Background music is lost when opening pps with keynote

When I get an email pps with music. I'm able to open it with keynote, but unfortunately I lose the background music.
How can I fix this problem ?

What format is the music in? If it's some Windows only format, then it won't play in Keynote.

Installed OS6, and the music player stops when opening the web browser...

I downloaded and installed OS6 on my iPhone 4 last Thursday. It seemed to be working fine, and then at the gym while listening to music, the player kept stopping whenever I opened Safari. Hmm, looks like launching iBooks shuts down any background audio. Once iBooks is running however you can switch apps, restart the audio and return to iBooks. Provided you don't open a multimedia book like the Beatles Yellow Submarine freebie then you can read without disrupting the audio playback.
I've tried choosing different titles in iBooks, or just the library, then quitting the app, running some audio and starting iBooks again. It repeatedly pauses audio even when iBooks doesn't have any immediate use for the audio channel. As long as you don't actively shut down the iBooks app however you can choose some music as background when you are reading.

Error when opening document with ECL control: INVALID_DATA

Hi Gurus,
I've tried to search the net for this problem but could not find anything and I'm stuck now.
Description:
we're using ECL to view attached documents (to POs etc.) which are stored through ArchiveLink on the content repository.
when we try to open this document, time-to-time we get following error:
Error when opening document with ECL control: INVALID_DATA
Message no. SDV004
by time-to-time I mean that when we try to open same attachment again it opens successfully (sometimes we need to re-open it 3-4 times to get it)
what we've tried is to enlarge timeout for HTTP protocol (tx SMICM, from former 30 to actual 60) but only effect we got is that we're waiting for the error longer time
It will be really great if anybody of you guys can give me an advice where the problem can be or where should I look and what to check

thanks for tip, unfortunately this was already flagged, currently settings are:
for Display Settings:
yes - include ECL control
use HTML control
empty - maximum viewer wait time
(do you think that setting some value for this could help)
yes - deactivate generic object services in viewer
no - doc display as dialog box
yes - deactivate data provider cache
Storage Settings:
yes - always copy document class from document type
yes - permit multiple assignment

- Tried to Reset the preference with CTRL + Click.
- It's just new clean install didn't do anything with it yet.

Photoshop CS6 (Mac) crashes when opening files with type or using the type tool

Hi,
Photoshop CS6 keeps crashing when using the type tool or when opening files with type on it. I've quit suitcase, disabled the suitcase plug-in, reset the preferences in Photoshop there's no crash report coming up either the application just dies! I am currently trying a system restore from time machine to see if that works!. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

However with ADF 11g R1 11.1.1.6 exists a patch and a web.xml context param to solve it.
Applying patch and setting next context param in web.xml is solved:

</context-param>Don't know if it runs in ADF 11g R2 apps.

Yes, We have checked in both ways, I have also followed other threads on the same issue
But not able to find the solution for the issue. We are facing the issue when we are using files scannned by Kodak Scanner i1420 in tiff format.
But If I will attach any other tiff files from directory then It can viewed through SAP Document Viewer.

Dreamweaver very slow when opening files with external links

Is there any way to fix Dreamweaver CS5 (Windows 7, 64bit) when opening files with external references?
For example, I have a very simple CSS file, and toward the top the file has a line that says:
@import url("https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Ubuntu:500,700");
This causes the file to take around 20 seconds to open in DW. If I comment out the line or remove it, the file opens almost instantly. This behaviour is also present in files that contain an SSI.
DW often crashes before being able to open the file and I need to restart the app.
Can I disable DW from attempting to load the references?? It's obviously what is causing the issue IMO and would love to make DW workable again!

"Enable Related Files" isn't the fix for this issue. It's slightly different - I wanted to still load related files, but only the ones local to the file I was editing.
The fix was to use DW's Resolve To IP Address feature. It required adding a registry value - it fixed the issue straight away

I use iTunes Match so I can't confirm this on my computer (my Music tab looks different), but as I recall, on the Music tab you have the option to check to sync selected playlists, artists and genres, and then check which playlists you want to sync below that. Then, like songs, you would uncheck the playlists you don't want on your phone and sync to remove them.

In IMovie 11 9.04 my background music loses time when I transfer it to the slide show. How do I correct that?

I have a slide show project which runs about 7:10 minutes. I want to use background music that consists of 2 songs. The first song is 3:11 minutes and the second song is 4:51 minutes. Even when I add transitions and more images, the second song loses duration the moment I transfer it to the slide show. HOw do I adjust that?

Background music continuous play when navigating through website

I managed to get some background music playing on my website referencing another thread, however I would like the music to play continuously when you navigate through the website.
Also, is it possible to add a sound on/off button somewhere without the full player?

I realized the problems with the ipod nano 6th generation when i got myself one of these little toys and tried to get it running in my Ford Focus (build 2010) using the AUX-input of the car.
Same problems with the static noise, no matter which cable i tried. But I ignored it then, because I usually use the iphone 3gs I have in my car for music and navigation (via AUX-input and headphones) without any problems.
But that forgotten incompatibility-problem between ford aux-port (I have a CDS6000 radio) and iPod nano 6G just reappeared when I tried my new iphone 4s in the car. Just the same **** as with the ipod nano 6g.
My guess is, that apple replaced the earphone-sockets with some other components with the newer built devices (2nd half of 2010 and newer).
So I've just ordered an adapter from apple-dock to AUX. I hope that helps, but I don't understand, why just Ford has this problem. I've tried the same cable with the iPod Nano 6G and iPhone 4S with my logitech speakers (using the headphone-socket) without any problems.
If anybody has a clue why this happens, or what changed between the ipod/iphone generations regarding the headphone-socket, I'd like to know.

Always open *.pps with PowerPoint

I received an email with a *.pps attachment (i.e., a PowerPoint attachment). The tool tip says Mime-type:application/vnd.ms-powerpoint. However, when I double click the icon, I get the cannot find an application error message. So I navigate thru the choose application menu trail and select PowerPoint. Then when I try to open that same icon again I still get the cannot find an application error message. Is there way to force Mail to remember to always open *.pps attachments with PowerPoint?

try exporting the attachment to the desktop. then click just once on the file to highlight it and then press apple and i on the keyboard. from here, go down to the "open with" section in the middle of the information window. select other if powerpoint is not available, then specify powerpoint in the new window that comes up. you can select to always open this by checking the box, and then make sure back in the information window, you click the "change all" button. this will tell all powerpoint documents to open with the powerpoint application. [ 8 ) ]

Error when opening page with the web browser activex

I have downloaded the example for using the web browser activeX component to display a web page. It basically works, but it keeps returning an error (from NI's web site) that I don't see when opening the site from IE. The message I get is:
Are there things that need to be initialized when calling the browser in this way?

It looks like ni.com is not supplying that particular console object which is causing an issue with the embedded instance of IE9. Every other website I've tried works correctly. I've looked around the ActiveX methods to intercept and ignore this error, but I haven't found anything yet.
