Background voice during programmes

Hi, I think I have somehow pressed a button or buttons on my black bt vision remote control which has caused a background commentary when I am watching programmes, something like a directors cut when you hear the script over- view. It is getting very annoying.  Help.

  • IPhone 5 32GB echo voice during 3rd party call reject

    Dear all,
    Have anyone experience echoing voice especially for iPhone 32GB during 3rd party call reject? (Doesn't happen to 16GB and 64GB)
    During phone call if the other party rejects the call, you could hear echo background voice right after the busy tone.
    Appreciate if someone could share some joy in solving this very annoying problem. Have tried restoring and setting up as new phone both with negative result. Currently running 6.1.3.
    Best regards,

    Having the same issue with a 4S

  • Known issue: Cortana background voice command cannot be debugged due to 5 second timeout (Windows 10 Insider Preview SDK and tools, April 2015 release)

    Cortana currently dismisses itself as soon as it loses focus. If you switch to Visual Studio when debugging a background voice command, Cortana will dismiss itself, end the connection with your app and kill the app's background task.

    You can work around this issue by remotely debugging your app on a different machine. This eliminates the focus problem by allowing Cortana to remain in focus (on the remote machine) while you debug with Visual Studio (on your local machine).
    Prerequisites
    You have installed Windows 10 and Visual Studio 2015 RC on your main development computer.
    You have installed Windows 10 on a separate computer or virtual machine (Visual Studio not required).
    Note: Download Windows 10 from
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-iso-update-1504
    Terminology
    Your local computer is your main development box with Visual Studio 2015 RC and your project files.
    Your remote computer is a separate machine that will run your app remotely while maintaining a connection with Visual Studio on your local computer.
    Step 1: Enable Remote Desktop
    Ensure your remote computer can receive Remote Desktop requests:
    Sign into your remote machine
    Right-click the Start menu and select System
    Make a note of the machine name (you will reference it often)
    Click the Remote settings link
    Select the Allow remote connections to this computer radio button
    Save and close
    Step 2: Configure your Remote Desktop connection and remote microphone
    On your local machine, start Remote Desktop Connection from the Start menu
    Click Show Options
    On the General tab, type of the name of the remote machine
    Navigate to the Local Resources tab
    Click the Settings button in the Remote Audio section
    Change Remote audio recording to Record from this computer. This enables the remote microphone
    Hit OK and navigate back to the General tab
    Click Save As and save the Remote Desktop connection to a location on your computer
    Connect to the remote machine
    Step 3: Install Remote Tools for Visual Studio 2015 RC on the remote machine
    Sign into the remote machine
    Navigate to
    https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/downloads/visual-studio-2015-downloads-vs.aspx
    Expand Additional Tools and look for Remote Tools for Visual Studio 2015 RC
    Download and install
    Configure the remote debugger as described at
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bt727f1t.aspx. Tip: Scroll down to “Start and configure the remote tools for the first time”
    Run Remote Debugger from the start menu and keep the app running
    Step 4: Enable developer mode on the remote machine
    This step allows you to deploy and test apps to the remote machine. For details and alternate instructions see
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/dn706236.aspx.
    Remain signed into the remote machine
    Run gpedit.msc from the start menu (this is the Local Group Policy editor)
    Ignore the two popup error messages that will appear immediately
    Use the tree view on the left side to navigate to Local Computer Policy -> Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> App Package Deployment
    Double-click and enable Allow all trusted apps to install
    Double-click and enable Allows development of Windows Store applications and installing them directly from an IDE
    Step 5: Enable Cortana debugging on the remote machine
    This step disables the 5-second timeout when running a background task.
    Remain signed into the remote machine
    Run Debuggable Package Manager from the start menu
    Copy/paste the following line exactly and hit enter: $a=Get-AppxPackage | Where-Object {$_.Name -eq "Microsoft.Cortana"}
    Copy/paste the following line exactly and hit enter: Enable-AppxDebug $a
    Type exit and hit enter to close the window
    Step 6: Confirm you can connect to the remote machine with Visual Studio
    Sign into the local machine and start Visual Studio
    Click the Debug -> Attach to process menu (a project does not have to be open)
    Type the name of the remote machine and hit enter
    Provide your credentials (if using a Microsoft account, type your email display name and password, ignoring the domain text)
    The connection is successful if you see a list of processes
    Tip: If you experience a problem, make sure the Remote Debugger app is running on the remote machine
    Step 7: Configure remote debugging in your Visual Studio project
    Open your project in Visual Studio on the local machine
    Open the project properties (e.g., right-click the project in the solution explorer and select
    Properties)
    Navigate to the Debug section
    Select Remote Machine for the target device
    Type the name of the remote machine
    Close settings
    If necessary, on the Visual Studio toolbar select Remote Machine
    If necessary, switch to x86 or x64 depending on the remote architecture
    Run
    If prompted, enter your credentials
    Switch to the remote machine over Remote Desktop and confirm the app shows up
    Sometimes it will not show up during the first run; stop and restart
    Set a breakpoint and confirm the debugger on the local machine is triggered
    You should now be able to debug Cortana voice commands, including background commands.

    iphone 5s does not transmit my voice during a phone call.  Just started happening.  The microphone works with Siri and the speaker works fine as I can hear the person I called.

  • Change background color during text edit mode

    THis is a wacky problem...
    I have a presentation template. The slide master has white copy in the title and black copy in the body/bulleted list.
    When I try to use the template and edit the title copy, the background color for editing that line is white, just like the text, so I can't see what I'm typing. I can't figure out how to change the background color during text edit mode so that I can actually see what I'm typing. Is there a way to make this transparent?
    For some reason, the body copy edit works fine: black text edited in either a white or transparent background color.
    help!

  • IPhone 4 upgrade to iOS 7.1, cannot hear voice during phone call

    I recently updated to 7.1 and suddenly I cannot hear voice during the phone call. I can still hear voice using earphone. Has anyone experiencing the same thing? Need help. Thanks.

    I have the same problem with my iphone4 32g.
    After my phone was updated to ios7, people cannot hear my voice in a telephone conversation (regardless of who makes the call); however, they can hear my voice perfectly in a facetime or skype session.
    I managed to record my voice using the iphone so the problem may not have to do with the phone's hardware (mic or debris in the earphone jack). I highly suspect it is due to ios7, but I cannot rollback to ios6 to prove my hypothesis.
    I have performed factory reset but the problem still persists. So now I have a an iphone that can't be used to make a phone call, and this is frustrating.
    I used to have high regards for the apple brand. Not anymore.

  • Removing A Background Voice

    I've got an audio clip with two people talking and someone else talking in the background. How can I remove this background voice without changing the 'foreground' voices?
    Thanks

    The best thing to do is be creative and somehow incorporate it into the scene.
    My best example of this is when I was working on a movie and we received one entire camera angle out of focus, after the crew and actors had all packed up and gone back to LA. So what we did was we cut the good angle in between several scenes as a flashback and it was awesome. It was so much better than the original scene would have been, and we'd have never thought of it if we hadn't had that out of focus footage.

  • I cant hear Voice during call after i upgrade 7.1 i use iPhone 4

    I cant hear Voice during call after i upgrade 7.1 i use iPhone 4

    Hey there Goesdhar,
    It sounds like you are not getting sounds from your receiver on your phone. I recommend the troubleshooting from the followint article named:
    iPhone: Receiver and call audio quality issues
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts5196
    Increase the volume during the call.
    Make sure nothing is blocking the receiver. If you're using a protective case or display film, remove it and try again.
    Make sure nothing is plugged into the headphone jack or the dock connector.
    Check the receiver opening to see if it is clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush.
    Try another location with better signal. If the audio issue happens only when on a call, it could be due to the location.
    If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or a car kit, try turning off Bluetooth on your device. Learn more about troubleshooting Bluetooth connections.
    Restart the iPhone.
    Make sure your device is up to date.
    If the issue is not resolved after restoring the iPhone software, contact Apple Support.
    Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • No voice during incoming outgoing calls

    Hi, if anyone faced this issue before....there is no voice heard during incoming outgoing calls. However, we are able to talk on Skype or listen to music.

    To me this sounds like the RTP stream problem - it probably does not pass the firewall / nat on the way between SIP provider and you.
    What may have happenned is, that either on your Belkin router/NAT, or on internet ISP's router/NAT the SIP ALG (Application Layer Gateway) was enabled.
    If this is the case,  you need to disable SIP ALG on your router and/or ask your internet ISP to disable it on the firewall router.
    Another issue may have been if you have (accidentaly) changed the port forwarding on your Belkin router, and/or the PAP2T local LAN IP address changed and the port forwarding no longer works.
    So my proposals to check would be :
    - check and DISABLE SIP ALG on your Belkin (if router has this feature)
    - check the port forwarding on your Belkin router ... IF you setup port forwarding for 5060/61 you MUST set the same for RTP ports (16384-16483)
    - if you don't have port forwarding on your Belkin, try to setup forward of 5060-5061 AND 16384-16483*.
    *(If this is too many ports, set the the RTP portrange on PAP2T to 16384-16394 for example and then forward only that range)
    - if neither of above helps, change your Line1 SIP port from 5060 to let's say 6070, and RTP ports to the range let's say 17300 - 17310
    - last you may do on your side is to remove all port forwarding and put the PAP2T to the DMZ settings of your Belkin router.

  • Blank Background Screen during a call...

    Hi,
    I seem to be getting only the background screen when I call, I cannot see the foreground information like the caller name, duration of call...
    P.S. Not a white screen..
    Any Solutions ?

    I've also run into this issue.  I got my phone in Feb 2015.  Also iphone 6 (64GB).  It's happened during calls and when I tried taking a photo.  The screen basically goes black but the phone is still on and responds to buttons.  It's happened to me twice in the past month or so.  Each time, I've just had to wait for a few mins and the screen becomes lit up again.

  • TextfieldCell in Transparent Tableview, shows background app during editing

    Hi,
    With reference to the RoundTransparentWindow code of Apple Examples, I tried to make my tableview also transparent from the following code.
    - (void)setColumnHeaderOf:(id)identifier image:(NSImage*)image title:(NSString*)title
    NSTableColumn *column=[self tableColumnWithIdentifier:identifier];
    [[column headerCell] setCellAttribute:NSCellHasImageOnLeftOrBottom to:NSImageBelow];
    [[column headerCell] setImage:image];
    NSMutableAttributedString *attributedString = [[NSMutableAttributedString alloc] initWithString:title];
    NSMutableParagraphStyle * aParagraphStyle = [[[NSMutableParagraphStyle alloc] init] autorelease];
    [aParagraphStyle setLineBreakMode:NSLineBreakByTruncatingTail];
    [aParagraphStyle setAlignment:NSCenterTextAlignment];
    CGFloat dividingFactor = 255.0f;
    NSMutableDictionary * aTitleAttributes = [[[NSMutableDictionary alloc] initWithObjectsAndKeys:
    [NSFontfontWithName:CPFONTNAME size:[NSFont systemFontSize]], NSFontAttributeName,
    aParagraphStyle,NSParagraphStyleAttributeName,
    nil] autorelease];
    [aTitleAttributes setValue:[NSColor colorWithDeviceRed:(246/dividingFactor) green:(204/dividingFactor)blue:(37/dividingFactor) alpha:1.0f] forKey:NSForegroundColorAttributeName];
    [attributedString addAttributes:aTitleAttributes range:NSMakeRange(0, [attributedString length])];
    [[column headerCell] setAttributedStringValue:attributedString];
    [attributedString release];
    - (void)awakeFromNib
    NSLog(@"KBCustomTableView awakeFromNib");
    [[self enclosingScrollView] setDrawsBackground:NO];
    NSRect frameRect = [[self headerView] frame];
    [[self headerView] setFrameSize:NSMakeSize(frameRect.size.width, 30)];
    [self setColumnHeaderOf:@"Column1" image:[NSImage imageNamed:@"ColHdr1"] title:@"Column1"];
    [self setColumnHeaderOf:@"Column2" image:[NSImage imageNamed:@"ColHdr2"] title:@"Column2"];
    [self setColumnHeaderOf:@"Column3" image:[NSImage imageNamed:@"ColHdr3"] title:@"Column3"];
    - (void)drawBackgroundInClipRect:(NSRect)clipRect
    NSLog(@"KBCustomTableView drawBackgroundInClipRect");
    //[super drawBackgroundInClipRect:clipRect];
    - (id)_highlightColorForCell:(NSCell *)cell
    [self setBackgroundColor:[NSColor clearColor]];
    return nil;
    It works fine but with one strange behaviour of textfieldCell.
    WhileEditing the textfieldCell, my background app is shown clearly. This is because in the method, _highlightColorForCell self setBackgroundColor:[NSColor clearColor]]; If I don't do this, then my table behaves very much weird with lot of colors.
    Any idea how to resolve this.
    Regards
    symadept

    Hi again
    You can control the anti-aliasing on a global scale via Edit > Preferences.
    Slide color is controlled either at the slide level itself (examine Slide Properties) and you can also set a default color in Preferences so that if you click Insert > Blank Slide it has a defined color.
    It's common for folks to use the hot pink color as a transparent color. I just figured that you were configuring that color in the bitmap image you were creating for the caption. If you haven't done this, I'm unsure where the color may be coming from. Are you using a Bitmap Image in BMP format for the Caption? If not, perhaps you are using PNG or something like that and Captivate may be interpreting a transparent color set in the PNG. Not sure.

  • Background Talking During Band Concert

    I video-taped my son's middle school outside band concert and the people next to us would not stop talking.  An hour and a half of band music with people non-stop talking mixed in.  Is there a way to remove this chatter without degrading the music?  I tried removing background noise (50% and more), but it seems to also take away from the music.  If there isn't a way, I guess I'll have to live with it; but I'd love to be able to remove it.  I'm not proficient with this by any means, so if there is a way, please keep it real simple for me.

    any thoughts?
    Yes, use an audio editor to capture the sound rather than GB:
    http://www.thehangtime.com/gb/gbfaq2.html#audioeditors
    To get the sound into your computer take a line-out from the console and plug it into the line-in on your computer, set your system prefs to use the Line-In, and use your audio editor to record.
    If your computer doesn't have a Line-In you'll need an Audio Interface:
    http://www.thehangtime.com/gb/gbfaq2.html#interfaces

  • Need to pause Background music during .flv playback

    Hello,
    I have a project that has 2 .flv videos, and I need to pause the background music while the user is playing those videos- is there an advanced action that would let me do this?  Any other ideas?
    Thanks!

    No worries.
    I looked through the Cp4/5 system variables and I didn't see a way to manually set the background audio to 0%.
    I don't know what else is going on in your slide so this may or may not give the effect you want, but can you mute the background audio in the slide properties and add the narration audio to an invisible object on the slide?

  • Background voices in Musical Performance

    I taped a Jazz Festival using my Sony TRV950, and a direct feed from the sound mixer. Didn't realize my internal mic was picking up 'conversation,' and didn't know about 'dummy mic-ing' it. I am trying to remove that 'noise.' I 'swept' the audio tracks and it's still there. I bought SoundSoap and can't get rid of it.
    I can't 'send to' Sound Track Pro as an audio file. (It's greyed out).
    It's a great tape, but the 'noise' really takes away from it.
    Thanks for any help.
    Abbie

    Did they happen to record to anything from the board too? Maybe on the sly?
    I'm also a bit lost on how you got your internal mic to work with the line-in from the board. Did you hook up 2 XLRs? If you only hooked up one you might only have the concert on one channel. If that's the case, just delete the other channel and the input mic will go away.
    But I'm sure you'd have noticed that earlier.
    I'd go back to the sound guys and ask them if they recorded it and if you can get a copy.
