Background wont change on the lock screen

So, while my ipod was jailbroken (1.1.3 jailbreak software, i believe. i have a first gen ipod touch, so i've had it a while), i downloaded a background changing software, obviously, as that is what all the cool kids do. And in compliance with the cool kids guidelines, i also changed the background to this certain picture. However, once the new software came out (i am up to date, currently, but i'm talking about 2.0, for now) i upgraded, and restored my ipod. It is not jailbroken anymore, but the background pictured stayed. Everytime i try to change it, it says the picture was changed, but it's the same picture when i look at it. Yes, i'm talking about the lock screen, not the black home screen background, i know you cant change that. Can anyone help with that? I've restored multiple times, etc, but it doesnt fix it

Have you looked to see if you have any other user accounts signed in on your computer? I would imagine that this could arise from that scenario. Use this article to navigate to the users section of your computer and see whether there is another user account that may be signed in:

I'm glad to hear that they replaced your phone. Any experience I have had with Apple customer service and/or Genius bar has been extremely positive. While I have had positive outcomes from trouble with other phones in the past, they are not as quick and friendly. I had a Motorola phone and a Samsung phone go bad several years ago and warranty work through AT&T required that I wait for a replacement unit and then mail back the original unit to keep from being charged for the device. This usually meant almost a week without a phone. Nice to walk into Apple and walk out with a replacement device. Enjoy your phone.

My music wont play in the lock screen

My Music will not play when I double click the lock screen, and I dont know what to do.

I just upgraded my Black 16 GB GSM iPhone 4 to the first official release of iOS 5 last night (about 12 hours after release) and am unable to play *MOST* of my music with Apple's built-in "Music" app. My main music collection is at home (while I'm currently at work) and my best guess, currently, without my collection to compare it to, is that I might be unable to play MP3s while AACs may be the ones that are playing fine. I will have to ammend this with better details when I get home, but I'm rather disappointed, as the majority of my music is MP3.
Anyone have any suggestions?

HT1212 my iphone is frozen on the lock screen and will not let me enter my passcode, I have held the home button and power button for up to 1 minute and plugged it up to itunes because its locked it wont work? i need help

i have connected it to itunes like i was told to do and it wont do anything because its locked with a passcode and its frozen on the lock screen and will not let me enter myt passcode and after a while it just shuts off, it has been doing this for almost 48 hours. I was told to hold the home button and power button to shut it down and that I could then restart it and it would work... Nothing has helped, What can I try???

Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
If that does not resolve, restore the device via iTunes on the computer.
If all else fails, take the device to Apple (or whomever provides support in your country) for evaluation and possible replacement.

When playing YouTube in background the phone stays on and does not auto lock and if it is auto locked and you receive a text it will stay on / lit even in the lock screen

Mine and my wifes iphon 5s is having way too many problems for today's technology, when using iTunes music app from the lock screen if you press pause from the lock screen it stays the same not like before when you paused the music the play buttons would disappear but now they just stay there, and when playing YouTube videos in the background from safari and the phone is in lock screen and you receive a text the screen will stay lit until you turn it off yourself and also the same thing happens in the home screen if your playing YouTube from safari in the background the phone won't auto dim of auto lock after any amount of time it will stay on forever these problems need to be fixed, also the wifi is not working like it used to and the LTE and 3G data are slow, slower then the 3GS when ios 6 came out. Any number of things could have caused the phone to do this. If after the reset you are experiencing additional problems, the next step in the troubleshooting process is a restore from a backup. Make sure you have one before you start the restore process. If that does not improve things, then you may have to restore as a new device. Remember, restoring as a new device will delete all data off the phone. Make sure all of your pictures are imported to the computer and all other data is synced to supported applications on the computer before restoring as new. So after updating my ipod touch 3rd gen to 4.3.1 i noticed a lag everytime i turn it back on. it stays on the lock screen for minutes sometimes hours. the screen is usually unresponsive the only things usually changing are the time and battery percentage.

so aafter upsating my touch to 4.3.1 i have noticed everytime i restart the ipod there is a huge lag at the lock screen. the screen only updates itself every three to five minutes only updating the time and battery status. i cannot do anything, usually it will stay like this for minutes sometimes hours. i have tried restoring it and thought updating will fix the problem but it hasn't yet. i currently have ios 4.3.3. recently i had a friend look into the ipod and he told me on a folder called damaged files he found this, 37c3ad com.apple.autowake.plist. how can i fix this?

How to make configurator not change the lock screen

i manage about 300 ipad mini's for a school district and i use apple configurator once a month to manually update the ios and apps on the ipads. i have a grade level that uses pictures of the kids for the lock screen to identify whose ipad is whose. the issue is when i plug them into configurator to update them it always resets this lock screen, how can i make it so that the lock screen is not effected? All of my ipads are supervised, and i do not have the option of removing the supervision from that grade level.

If the phone is locked the only call you can place is to 911 (or its local equivalent) without unlocking it. You can also take a picture, but not review other photos.

Suggest RIM change the lock screen unlocking style

the current lock screen unlocking style is fresh and great,BUT too many times unexpected unlocking happened when we put the Z10 in the pocket because the skin of our body under the pocket touch the screen then unlock the lock screen unexpectedly and randomly.

It could tap the screen for x seconds? I think your situation is very unlikely

I am new to the Z10 and i was wondering if i could remove the unread count or even the new mail icon from the lock screen.
On the old 9780, i was able to change the notification in a manner that only signaled a new email arrive but without the number.
This is my work email and when i am out of the office i don't want to be greeted with the number of emails that accumulated in my inbox while i dared to stop working..
I wouldn't mind removing the new mail icon completly if that the only valid option..

I would also like to know how to get rid of ugly *** white background. It ****** me off every time I have to look at it. There is nothing that I see here as being an improvement over the last itunes.

Why is the lock screen wallpaper in my iPad Mini blurry

When the iPad Mini has been off for awhile, when you open the case the lock screen shows but the wallpaper background is blurry. If I look at the wallpaper setting in Settings, I can view the picture as a wallpaper and it's clear (not fuzzy or blurry). The only time it's blurry is when the lock screen is on. Any ideas on why this happens or how to change it?

The lock screen covers the wallpaper. The lock screen is slightly transparent causing a blurred view of the screen beneath. In this case the the screen beneath is your wallpaper. The blurred view is normal.

I'd hate to think Apple is going down the Microsoft path, of passing untested software onto the user. What ever happened to Regression Testing, to ensure the existing functionality remains intact?

Other issues we are experiencing are, Games are stuttering and the kids really miss the old YouTube app.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

YouTube is not now part of iOS 6.
However, you can go to the App Store and do a search using YouTube. You can download several YouTube apps: YouTube (for the iPhone, a IPad app is in work), several users like Jasmine and YouPlayer.

Cannot set wallpaper on the lock screen

I've just been trying to change my wallpaper on the lock screen of my iPhone 5C (iOS v7.0.3 or 11B511) and it doesn't accept any wallpaper I select. It keeps coming back with the same grey wallpaper irrespectively of what I select.
Has anyone seen this behaviour and maybe know how to resolve it?

No, it is not a bug. It is something occuring exclusive to you device. Mine (and everyone I know using iOS 7 is not seeing this issue. A couple of things you might try:
Carefully follow the procedure an ensure you are doing correctly. You probably are, but since I can actually look over your shoulder ...
Ensure you are using an image that can function as wall paper (i.e. try several). Also, if you have reduced motion, you may have an issue using dynamic backgrounds (but I have NOT tested this myself).
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
