Hello Adobe Team, i'd like to know how can i fix this situation: I just added a couple of things (only text) more to my website, after i downloaded the update, and now everytime l upload it back to my host, some of the several pages it has changes the backgrounds (pictures) with other backgrounds, and its always in different ways, i've tried several times and im not sure what could the problem be, im using muse as i used to do it before the update and now the website is a mess, keeps changing things that on the preview mode were ok.

Ok, if anybody is experiencing this problem, try to relink every picture, delete the "image" folder, and delete the images you had on the new "images" folder, make the adjustments you needed, save the site, then export it to HTML (this way all of the documentation on your site will be overwriten with the new adjustments you've made and previous data will not interfer with the new one), then upload it with your FTP, clean your browser cache, and enter to your site. This worked for me and now my website is running fine.

Is there any way to turn off the auto formatting in Pages? I just want to type a letter and add pictures and titles, and Pages keeps changing font sizes and doesn't let me "Do it my way". I HATE this!

Is there any way to turn off the auto formatting in Pages? I'm using a blank document, so I figured I could write my letter and add pictures any way I wanted to. But NO! Pages keeps changing the font size! I typed a large heading as a title, and when I try to change to a smaller font for the body of the letter, it changes the size back to the larger size! I am getting SO FRUSTRATED! I've spent over an hour trying to get the stupid program to let me just type my letter! Can anyone help?

The only one left is the "unsubmitted text" dialogue, which would not be a problem if I were not a Facebook user; after updating the "Richard is..." field (which does not require a manual submit to actually send) I get the above message. This is obviously Safari just not realising that the info has been sent and is therefore (I imagine) one for Apple themselves to answer!!

Not being a Facebook User, I'm not sure how to respond to the error situation. However, this would be something to report to Apple as a bug via the Safari Menu. First, open to the page in question, then select "Report Bugs to Apple".

You can not insert a section break into a textbox.
You appear to have a lot of objects with wrap set, that once you take them out of the flow of text (by sending them to the background) causes the text to reflow and contract into fewer pages. Pages is almost unique in the way it forms up pages in Word Processing mode only so long as there is text on them.
I suspect you probably have hammered away at returns, spaces and tabs as well to position things, which only works to add to the mess.

PS There is quite a lot of programming in OSX that is far from "intuitive". Pages is easy at one level, when using the templates, otherwise it can be quite frustrating.

How do I make a web page that changes every time the user refreshes it? Is it possible in Muse?

Hi, i'd like to make quite a simple website where the main text in the centre of the page changes every time the user refreshes the page in their browser. I assume i'll have to make one master, and multiple pages that are all the same except for the changes in the text, but i'm not sure how to make it so that every refresh directs to a different page and not just the home page? Is this even possible in Muse?

You can't do it with Muse alone. Would probably be fairly simple to do with a bit of Javascript. Check the widget directory as it is possible someone has made a widget for random content. If not, maybe I will make one this weekend. ;-)

Can i make a button change anchor link when you scroll down the site?

I am trying to make a scroll site.. and i have navigation buttons on the right, a full menu, but also a "1 topic up" button and "1 topic down" button.
Is there any way that i can have those buttons change anchor link when you scroll down the site.
Example:
I am at home, then i press "1 topic down" and gets scrolled to the next topic on the website, but then i cant make the button change to link to the anchor below that, so the button becomes useless after that 1 press.
Is that in any way possible in Muse to make it change link?

You can try to create different buttons on page positions where down scrolling will be active with separate button actions. For example you click on "I topic down" , page scrolls and there is another button placed with "Next Topic down" , on click this would scroll the page more and similarly along the length of page.
Button with anchor link scrolling down the page cannot be used for different anchor links, creating different buttons with anchors is the solution.

Firefox is coded to open new tabs in a blank page. That may change in Firefox 4. I don't know.
In the meantime, there is an add-on called Tab Mix Plus that I think provides that option. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122/

Is a new SI_ID created every time the InfoObject data changes in the CMS?

I'm trying to create a process that records the FRS file path and file name of every InfoObject created in the CMS and associate it with a timestamp and a friendly report name.
As this process runs the big question is does it need to crawl the entire CMS every time looking for changes in previously created InfoObjects or is a new SI_ID, and by extension new file path and name, created every time the InfoObject data changes in the CMS?
I'm hoping it is the latter. Obviously the actual SI_ID creation behavior changes the code quite a bit. Any help would be appreciated.

Just want to make sure we're on the same page here.
If a User takes an infoObject and updates the file associated with an infoObject, then neither the SI_ID or the SI_CUID will change. Any changes to properties of the infoObject won't trigger changes to its SI_ID or SI_CUID value.
However, SI_UPDATE_TS will change with modification of the InfoObject:

So that may be what you're interested in. Note that SI_UPDATE_TS is an indexed property in the CMS repository database, so a query that filters on SI_UPDATE_TS (such as SI_UPDATE_TS > '2006.02.02') wouldn't be too slow.
One danger to your scheme - it'll pick up updates to the InfoObject, but not to related InfoObjects (such as Web Intelligence - Universe relationships). Working out all the necessary relationships may be daunting.

And you are quite persistent, Menu Boy, in offering pernickety and pointless prattle, in response to a "support page" on iPad's buggy Pages App.
Let's summarise, for those reviewing this threadless thread for app support..
Mobile pages works reliably for simple docs, especially creating letters and Menus for Microsoft's Kindy canteen (even on special days with nice big pictures).
When importing more complex docs and/or working with larger creations, it is prone to randomly corrupting files upon re-opening, along similar lines as Word (running on a PC).
So, Menu Boy, do they let you sneak into classes every now and then? What is the secret to their training? "Say after me, if any I.T. product works just some of the time, that's a job well done, and if something randomly stops working, we call that the user's fault... And if they complain, we call them names."

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID.

The use of WEP is not recommended for compatibility, reliability, performance, and security reasons; WEP is insecure and functionally obsolete. Any reason you're using WEP? I ask, because you might as well not have any security at all, & this is most likely your issue.

Try it this way and see if it works. If you do not have a credit card registered to a legal address in the country in which you want to purchase, you will not be able to buy from that store anyway.

Ok.. try restarting your Mac.
If that doesn't help, temporarily disable anti virus software.
Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent access to the App Store as well as third party download managers.
Try installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
That will reinstall the App Store for you which may help. It's ok to do this even though you already have v10.6.8 installled.

I'm having the same issue. I've been completely locked out of the app store because MLB.com is trying to charge me $3.13. I recently updated my phone to iOS 7.0.4 and I need to re-download my apps. It doesn't seem very fair that I cant access the apps that I have paid for and my FREE apps because of one app. I would understand if MLB at bat wasnt working but I now have ZERO apps on my phone minus the basic ones that come with iOS...Someone help us!! =O
