Backing up from old iphone 3g to new 4s

I want to restore my backup from my old 3g to my 4s, however I have been using my 4s for a couple of weeks now and wondered if I restored the back up from my 3g through itunes, would this wipe off any new data that's on my 4s? Or is there a way I can restore the data without wiping off any new stuff such as pictures etc? If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

Pictures taken or saved with your 3G can be copied to your computer and then synced to your 4S with iTunes.
Pictures synced to (from iTunes) your 3G should already be on your computer and thus can be synced to your 4S.

I synced my IPhone but OK'd the wrong button (back-up from old IPhone) and deleted all my data, such as contacts, pictures, videos, notes etc. How can I get my data back, restore all my lost file?

All sorted! dont suppose you know how to fix another problem I have??? for weeks now, since updating to ios5 I think, for some reason every time I have tried to log onto app store it says CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE. It's nothing to do with my computer, and I've been to the Geniius bar but they couldnt help and nothing I seem to do lets me update my Apps and even worse, I cant even buy any more. Any suggestions?

How do I access photo's backed up from previous iPhones on my new one?

Hi,
I've had three iPhones 3GS's. My first two went wrong, so Apple kindly replaced them for me. When I came to restoring my iPhone each time, the photo's that I had taken on each previous iPhone were stored into a different album and loaded into my new one. Trouble is, I can't seem to access them through my Mac; or at least I don't know how to.
When I click on the 'Photos' icon on my iPhone it gives me the options to view my 'Camera Roll', my 'Photo Library', and 'iPhone1' and 'iPhone2'. The 'Photo Library' is simply made up of all the pictures from 'iPhone1' and 'iPhone2' which were the names of the previous back ups I had created. I can't delete these pictures from my iPhone or access them through my Mac to back them up again. I used to use a PC, but that is dead now and if I lose this iPhone, then I'll lose all these pictures as well.
Any ideas??????

How did you clear the iPhone 3G?
Was it cleared by restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the iPhone's backup with iTunes on your computer, or did you use the erase all content and settings option on the iPhone?
If she is logged in to iTunes with her iTunes account on her computer and her computer has not been authorized with your iTunes account with iTunes, then your iTunes account should no longer be available on the iPhone.

How move Notes From Old iPhone 3GS to New 4S

I am baffled with iTunes and synching since I bought my iPhone 4S. At the moment, I have somehow managed to get my Notes from my old 3GS restored to my 3GS after I upgraded the 3GS to iOS5. But I can't figure out how to move the Notes to my new iPhone.
A further complication involves my wife's iPhone. She has 4. It has not been updated to iOS5. But some of her notes are now on my old 3GS and some of my notes are on her iPhone 4. At least one of these notes was created a couple of days ago and her phone hasn't been hooked up to any computer for this to happen in a month or two. That leads me to believe that this is somehow happening over our home WiFi. Anyone have any thoughts on that too? The entire iPhone 4 experience has been very Microsoft like.

Agree. My notes, calendar, and camera roll did not sync. The easiest workaround for the notes is to just copy the notes and email them to yourself using the wifi on your 3GS and then paste them into the 4S notes.

When I manually removed contacts it removed them from my new phone and my iPad can anybody help !!!!!

Just go to "Setting > iCloud" scroll down and delete your iCloud account from your husband's device. (Do the same with your other email accounts in "Setting > Mail,Contacts,Calendars".

Just bought the new iphone 4 and was told all I had to do was take it home and sync it up and all of my data that was housed on the iphone 3 would sync up to my iphone 3. That didn't really happen.

I thought it would be that simple, however when I plugged in my Iphone 4 to sync, it went thru the motions however it didn't import the correct stuff? So now I fear that I've deleted the prior back up of my 3 and overwritten it with the stuff on my phone right now. Is there anyway to find my back up on my computer? I'm at a loss on how to proceed. I see all my data on my 3 just won't let me connect back to my computer says no service....
