Backing up my iphone from a specific file

So I recently restored my iphone and backed it up on accident, Replacing my backup file that had everything in it!
However when I went into my backup folder , I found 2 files one which was 8MB one that was 4GB. I clicked on the 4GB and it's my original backup folder, so what I'm trying to do is backup my iphone from that folder and not the 8MB one that has nothing on it! , and iTunes won't let me!.
How can I make this happen?

Hi, I have an iphone 5 on wich I made factory reset. When I wanted to restore yesterday a backup from iTunes (22.5.2013.) in the middle of restoring there was an error saying that there is not any more space on the computer. After that I can't restore it any more with this backup - the last backup that is available is the one made couple of hours ago. BUT I searched for this backup in the App Files of my WinXP and found that backup folder with many files in there but I don't know how to make my iTunes to restore an iPhone with this specific folder - it seems that iTunes doesen't recognize this folder as a backup but in fact that is a backup.

Connect your iOS device to the computer that has your backup.
Make sure this computer has the latest version of iTunes.
Choose File > Devices > Restore from Back up.
If you're using iTunes 10.7 or earlier, right-click the device from the list and choose Restore from Backup.

Why can I not restore iphone from a specific backup?

I backed up my iphone a few hours ago (making it my most recent backup), and now I am trying to restore another iphone with that same backup file. I can see it in my preferences/devices on iTunes, but when I choose "restore from backup" I do not get that specific backup file as an option to restore with.
How do I restore my iphone to that certain backup?

Do you have a smaller capacity micro SD card to try? I seem to remember from past posts that users were having problems with cards larger than 32GB, however, Apple's page doesn't mention this.

How can I get my music back onto my iPhone from the the cloud

I have a new primary PC. My music Library is on an old dying laptop. I have found all my music has disappeared from my phone. Some is on the cloud, but it appears to only be the music purchased on iTunes, only about 1/3 of my collection. Now I find all the songs on my iPhone are ONLY iTunes songs and I have to download them each time I want to play them. Since I'm in a regional area with poor coverage, having to download my own songs every time through cellular is ridiculous! How can I copy my entire collection back onto my iPhone? And then where's the rest of my collection? Will I have to rip all my cd's again? If so NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Have also lost all my ringtones which were a Podcast that WAS purchased through iTunes - now gone.

I did this last night, and copied all the music from old laptop onto new one. But there was still a lot of stuff missing, mainly from my own CDs that I'd ripped. Also I'm still getting the icon on my iPhone that the music is on the iCloud. This doesn't suit me because it will cost me a fortune to download each song by cellular when I'm out driving. I need all my stuff on my iphone. Do you know how I can get it to download everything i need apart from clicking on every album and selecting "download" from cloud one at a time?

Every time i sync my Iphone it tries to sync all my photos back onto my Iphone from my Mac. How do i stop this as it just keep freezing as too many photos?

I had to restore my iphone 4 for some reason (my mac said it could not read it) so i did. I then restored my iphone to my icloud back up. All was well i still have all my contacts, messages, settings etc. However now for some reason when i plug my iphone into my mac it tries to put all my photos back onto my Iphone. How do I back up my iPhone from a previous backup on the iPhone itself rather than using my computer iTunes?

On the iPhone, it states that it was backed up yesterday and I would like to restore my iPhone back to this.
However, when I connect my phone to the computer and it asks me which backup I would like to choose, the last one available to me is in 2012, which is not suitable.
Is it possible to restore my phone to the backup that is on my phone or are the options that are available to me on my comptuter the only choices?
How it happened was that I bought a new iPhone and my old one has recently been given to a friend, who has since bought it a sim.
Before parting with this old iPhone, I did not check it was restored to factory settings and all of my information was still on it, including my contacts and the same apple ID.
When the new sim was put into the old iPhone, the friends contacts were imported and mine have since disappeared, from both the old iPhone and the one I am currently using.
Although the contacts that have been added to my old iPhone are on mine too, meaning mine are no longer on my old iPhone or my current one.
I really could do with my contacts back considering they are of importance, yet I have no idea how to go about getting them back, is there any chance anyone knows how I could restore my phone to a recent backup without connecting it to my computers itunes?

Your entire second paragraph is so confusing I am going to ignore it.
But I may be able to answer your first and third paragraphs, which seem to address the same question.
I wonder where your iPhone states it was backed up yesterday. I am going to assume that you see this under Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
If that is true, then the backup from yesterday is in iCloud. The one and only way to restore an iCloud backup is to do this on your iPhone:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
That will cause your iPhone to begin a setup process. As part of that process, assuming you enter the same Apple ID you used when you created the iCloud backup, you will be offered the opportunity to restore from it.

The Apple ID exists. The email address you used to create it may not, but the Apple ID does. Call AppleCare and ask to speak to someone in account security.
