Backing up my iphone - onto new computer - so I lose all songs I did not purchase on itunes? If I copied CDs into itunes on an old computer that I don't have access to anymore and I upgrade my software to 5.0 I lose anything not on the new computer itune?
So my home computer decided to quit... I am trying to start using my work computer more now. I have itunes with a library of only 150 songs. My iphone has over 550 songs. Even after I sync my phone to my new computer and mark items purchased to be sync it doesn't increase on itunes. I know I've purchased songs on my iphone so that is my first problem...
Next, at home I copied CDs onto itunes which I sync'd onto my iphone. Am I right that I will lose all these songs now when I update my software?
To summarize:
I have no way to back up songs that were not purchased on itunes?
How do I sync my iphone purchases into itunes correctly (since it isn't working now)
Will I lose content from my iphone, if it doesn't show up on itunes before I update my software to 5.0?
Am I making sense?

Since your updating from iOS 4 to iOS 6, you will most likely lose your songs, but if songs were purchased from iTunes, you can try this:
Downloading past purchases from App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
You can redownload from iTunes on your iTouch, if running iOS 5 or better.

DEauthorizing a computer that you don't have access to any more
Using my iPhone and another program, I transferred all of my music to my work computer. However, there are just a few songs, that when I attempt to play them, tell me that I already have 5 computers authorized and that I can authorize no more.
I have my home computer, my iPhone (if that counts) and my work computer. I do not need to have any other computers authorized. I think the other computers must be my former home PC (which is now in a landfill) and a couple computers at my previous job.
So, here's my question. How do you deauthorize computers that you don't have access to anymore? Is there a way to reset to zero somehow and then just reauthorize the computers that I actually use?
Any help would be appreciated!If you log into your store account you should find an option to deauthorise all your computers. Then you can just reauthorise the ones you want.
You can only do this once a year, so always deauthorise a PC you don't need or if you are going to do repairs etc.

If it is just a few songs, do you have any old accounts? If you go into Get Info>>Summary tab on a problem track, it will tell you the account was used to purchase the song.

If you can't get the account's password reset via http://appleid.aple.com then try contacting Support in your country, they should (after they've confirmed your id and that it's your account) be able to reset it for you.

After it's been reset change the primary email address on the account to be an address that you have access to : Change your Apple ID.
And check/correct the date of birth on the account (select the Password And Security section on the account on http://appleid.apple.com, answer the security questions, and on the next screen the DoB should show). -

You can use another iPhone (or iPad) to restore it too, or you can login to www.icloud.com (assumng you weer using iCloud) and export your contacts from there.

Why my bookmarks don't have their sitelogo anymore and the text is larger?
My computer crashed and I had to reinstall windows XP. After i had isntalled it and reinstalled Mozilla also my web browser window is different. The bookmarks don't have their sitelogos anymore and the text is allmost double in size. How can fix this or am i missing some programs?
Did you restore any Firefox files (program / profile) from before that reinstall?

I changed my primary email and icloud is still set for my old email. I tried deleting my icloud but it aks me for the old password associated with the old email that I don't have anymore. Any other sugestions on how to get icloud to change emails on my ios?
I figured it out! I changed my email & password at the icloud site, then when I deleted the icloud account on my iphone - it still showed my old email but when i typed in my current password it went through. I was then able to sign back in with my current email and password. That was too easy for the amount of time I have put into this! Glad its finally fixed.

Ok I don't know why in the world everyone else has access to the App Store and almost anything they want. Guess what I have access to? Yea that's right I have access to nothing that they have! I believe that their iPads are glitching and that might be how they got access to them! I hate how I don't have any access when I don't have access to anything that they have access to! They have almost no restrictions on their iPads and I have all the restrictions that the school sets!

How to remove OLD mobile number (I don't have access) from iMessage?

I have a problem which I could not find a solution for it yet, Please help me if you had an experience on this matter.
I can not remove the mobile number I DO NOT have now from iMessage.
I did try to disable/enable iMessage many times but had no luck on it. After activating the iMessage with new number,
I can still see the old mobile number in the list of [ YOU CAN BE REACHED BY IMESSAGE AT ] in the Setting>iMessage>Send&Receive.
I don't want to see my old phone number there. I don't have access to this number any more.
I noticed apple recently created a new tool to de-associate the iMessage from phone number, but this tool will send a text message
to the number to be able to de-associate it!!! [ Well I don't have that number to be able to get the text ]
Probably apple did not think about this situation yet and I have to wait for another 10 years for new tool.
Please help me in this regard.

If a mobile phone number is not used for iMessage for about 45-60 days, it should automatically be removed from association to the Apple ID used for iMessage. -

I have spent days setting up an itunes account. For some reason it took for ever for my pass word to work even though I did everything as asked. My sole reason for setting one up was to listen to a song that a friend said she sent me. She said to just go to itunes and click redeem. I did this but they wanted a code. I don't recall ever getting one and I know longer have the email that she sent the link for the song. All I remember seeing was the name of an alblum by the name of Deeper. Please help me listen to the song I was sent. My friend and I have been through some rocky times and this song could possibly change things for us.

You need to contact Apple with a proof of purchase. Do you still have the installer disk to prove that you bought the application?
Do you have a second mac with Aperture running? Then you can see the serial number in the "About" panel: From Aperture's main menu bar > Aperture > About Aperture

I had to bring a new computer on line. I reached my limit of computers (5) that I can authorize for my content. The computer that I am replacing is dead so I can't deauthorize it and when I try the deauthorize all button it says I can't do that because I must wait a year to do it again. How do I deauthorize that dead computer if I can't get it running?

Videos only show the upper left-hand portion of the image when playing.
When I attempt to play a video in Firefox (23.0) on my Mac, all I can see is the upper left-hand fourth of the video image. When I attempt to view the same video in Safari it works fine. The entire image is rendered. Mac OS X 10.8.4
