Backup assistant: Cannot find online contact list for 2ndary phone
My wife and I have LG8360's - flip phones - and I have the secondary line. I used backup assistant to back up our contact lists. I can find her's but not mine. Is there a trick at log in that I need to do? We are ditching these and going to smartphones so I would like to get this figured out.

If you haven't already done so, you need to create a separate log in for the secondary number. Completely log out of the account for the primary number.
Then click on REGISTER, and put in the secondary number; create a username and password for that number - and you should be good to go. If it tells you the # is already registered, then you are not completely logged out of the primary account.
Each number needs to have it's own log in to MyVerizon for Backup Assistant, and the Media Store for ringtones, etc.

Just got an iphone (yay!) and the icloud sync-ed my contact list form my first generation ipad. Hoever, I do not want this info in the contact list the phone accesses (2 different lists). Is there a way to keep them seperate? With the latest operating system (installed this morning) I can't see the contacts I manually entered into the phone unless I download from the cloud (which has EVERY contact in it-not just the manually entered conrtacts). Surely there must be ways to create groups, or different phone/contact lists to access?
till now i don't think thunderbird has multiple address books. but u can try rd party app but still i don't recommend this. If i 'll get any info about this i will definately tell you. sorry but if it won't helps.

Cannot find my contacts list even though I did backup. Had to restore my 3gs, now I have nothing.

If you've been using your phone as recommended, your contacts should have been synched for safe-keeping to your computer (Outlook, Address Book) or to a cloud service (Google, iCloud).
Have you been failing to use your phone as recommended so this type of data loss could be prevented? -

Hi, I had sometimes (not always) the smae problem. Solved it by saving the pic to my desktop and then opened it from itunes (via ADD pic). That solved my it for me. Rgds

My MacBook Pro originally came with Leopard. I have the OS and Applications disks for Leopard but I cannot find my upgrade disk for Snow Leopard. I would like to perform a clean install of Lion on the new hard drive and restore some data from my Time Machine backup. I am not looking to restore the current image to my new hard drive. I have not yet removed the exisiting hard drive nor have I wiped my data.
The only way to do that is to buy a New SL Retail DVD. Or you could buy the Lion Install USB thumb drive from Apple for $69.
You must have SL installed to then install Lion or have a thumb drive with the Lion installer.
You could also create a Lion USB Recovery thumb drive using Lion Disk Assistant. But you need to have Lion already installed and the Lion RecoveryHD Partition on your drive to make the Recovery thumb drive.

Our reports run very slow in SharePoint Integrated mode. I look at the logs and I see that for one report request there are bunch of "Forced due to logging gap" rows. Is it some kind of a configuration issue or is it working as it should. Below
is the full log for one report request. I have no admin experience at all and I am confused what each one in the logs mean. I have made some of them in bold font as I suspect it is some kind of configuration issue there. Could you please help understanding

Thank you.That is likely the case as native mode is quicker than SharePoint-integrated.
A couple of things to check, and perhaps change if you can:
1) Make sure the latest SSRS ReportViewer is deployed to the SharePoint WFEs. This does not have to match your SSRS deployment version. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg492257.aspx
for the compatibility table.
2) If possible, move SSRS to the same SharePoint servers that end users interact with (e.g. the "WFEs").
3) Make sure the underlying server hosting SharePoint has C-States disabled (these are Intel C-States, e.g. C1, C2, C3... aka processor sleep states). If the server has any sort of power regulation, make sure it is at maximum performance (rather than some
form of power saving).
4) Make sure the underlying Windows OS has it's Power Management set to Maximum, rather than any sort of power savings.
You can review the execution logs in the Reporting Services database. Take a look at the ExecutionLog3 view. Compare the TimeProcessing (time it takes to process the report) and TimeRendering (time it takes for the processed report to render to the end user).

If you are having issues with your iPhone's Contacts application acting oddly, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -

Macs: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -
Backup Assist & VZ Cloud merging contacts - help
A Few months ago my mom switched from an Android phone to the iPhone 6. Used the back up assist to download contacts to her phone & entered her cell number so her contacts would go to her phone. Instead our contacts somehow got merged on both of our phones Which I did not want. Updated contact list on my phone & used VZ Cloud to upload, I thought a revised contact list only for the same thing to happen again. Question: how do I get it to stop? We're on family share plan under my name But we have 2 different cell phone numbers. HELP!!!
Help is here for you! I can only imagine what it must be like to have the same contacts as your mom stored in your phone. Now that she is on an iPhone, do you happen to also have an iPhone? If so, do you both happen to be using the the same Apple ID?
